Delicious food and service. Have dined her several times.
Hardest working manager I have ever seen in a restaurant. Unfortunately Landrey's closed this McCormick & Schmick's location. We moved our company holiday party to Mitchell's in Rochester Hills, another Landry's restaurant.
things are not the same since ownership has changed.
It has been a while but I recall it was good; but, I have not revisited.
Very overpriced for what you get. The last time we were there, the perch had scales and the oysters had shell fragments in them.
Good Food, Great Service. Will eat there again in the near future.
we had the shrimp kisses which we had to send back because it was undercooked and cold. The 2nd serving was also cold. Even our main entree was served cold. The only good thing was the cheesecake and that's because it was cold...as should be.
Very disappointing experience!!
Service was pretty slow. Once we received our food we were pretty much forgotten. We were planning on desert but decided to hail a different staff member to ask for our bill after 10 min or so.
Oysters were poorly shucked (shell chips and sediment in our mouths).
The rest of the food was pretty good.
Ambiance is "old school fine dining" with dark wood and dim lights. It would be nice if the guests were dressed up but many were in t-shirts and jeans. No judgement but the clientele didn't match the decor.
We had reservations on Valentine’s Day and it was awesome! We were 20 mins early to our reservation but got seated right away. Service was amazing, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was pleasant.
It was an OK experience for a birthday dinner.
We had reservations for 6:45 pm and I arrived at 6:30. Well at 6:35 the power went out however I learned that my sister and friend were already seated so I joined them in the dark. The manager advised us that they did not know how long the power would be out but it had effected numerous businesses in the area. I asked him if it was possible to get a drink and he quickly dispersed a waiter to our table. We sat for about 45 minutes before the server came over and told us the restaurant would be closing down due to the power outage. Just as soon as he spoke, the power came back on and we asked to stay for dinner although most people had left. The manager not only agreed to serving us but also covered our drinks. All in all, the meal, service and management was phenomenal! This was my first experience here and won't be my last!
We had an extremely pleasurable dining experience. Our server, Tierra was EXCEPTIONAL!! She was totally knowledgeable regarding the drink and the food menu. Her dinner recommendations were perfect and she was catering to our every request. We will return to the restaurant with a few friends in the next week or so.
This was my second visit to restaurant within 30 days . Both times the food was cold when it arrived to the table.
Great all around
Very nice experience
Excellent ..I thoroughly enjoyed the food..staff were most helpful...Will return on my next trip.
Really bad ! An usually decent place for business meals,,, but today :( :( :( Over-burnt a “medium” steak n veggies to Super-well. Fish semi OK,...
There were two factors that made dinner for my wife and I a poor experience. First, the food arrived with items missing from one order. This resulted in each of us eating by ourselves rather than at the same time. Also, the cut of fish and its presentation were very poor.
Very enjoyable evening celebrating our sins new job. Though we indicated on open table that this was a special celebration no one at restaurant acknowledged the occasion. Would definitely return because overall a very good experience.
I was there for a business lunch. We were given a booth and the server was very respectful of our time but also our need for time to decide and to eat. The food was very good. It is a perfect place for a business lunch.
It’s a great place to meet. Happy hour have great cocktails. However, if you have a special request then you have to call the locations directly to confirm
There seemed to be short on waitstaff. Service was good but I felt that the waiter was very busy. When we arrived at the front door, no one was at the desk and we waited almost five minutes before anyone showed up to seat us.
Food was good, if overpriced. Small portion. Restaurant was not busy, but waiter was less than attentive.
OUTSTANDING IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT.
We waited an hour to be seated even though I had a reservation through open table. We still waited as though we were a walk in. The service was poor and the food mediocre at best. I would recommend other steak houses in the area, not this one.
Enjoyed the food at dinner very much. But was disappointed the “dressy casual” was not adhered to by staff. It was New Years Eve and people came in jeans ,flannel shirts, tennis shoes etc. I was looking forward to nicely dressed fellow diners. A step above other restaurants. Unfortunately this was not the case.
New yrs eve dinner with my wife. She ordered perfect patron, did not taste right. Server said he would have a “veteran” bartender re-make it, she said no and ordered chocolate martini, which was very good. I ordered raspberry mule. Description and picture showed raspberries, it had no raspberries, only flavoring. Ordered third drink, the Fit to be King drink. After 10 minutes, no drink. Server came to table and said it is a newer drink and takes time to “put it all together” 5 mins later, we got it. Took 15 mins total though. Her filet was good, my whitefish was good, but overall was disappointing. I know it was NYE and very busy, but getting drinks wrong or tasting not right is just that, not right.
Too loud with the addition of kitchen clanging, the noise level was so loud, we couldn’t hear each other. Salads are overpriced. Used to be a better value.
The dinner was really one of the best dinners we have ever had. And we have eaten at a lot of places! We were surprised as if we felt like it may be a bit dated when we first got there. But service was great and it was elegant and cozy. Would definitely go back again.
In a word —- tired
Went on NYE and the fact that reservations were available same day says something....
Server was great - other than that - not remarkable
Time to close and renovate
Food was mediocre--did not find any crab in my stuffed salmon. Asked for the mushroom risotto which was tasteless.
The best part of the meal was the apple dessert.
Very pricey for the quality.
Our food was poorly prepared. Salmon stuffed with shrimp and crab had 2 small shrimp. Steak cooked medium rare instead of medium well. Service was sub-par. Our first visit 6 months earlier was outstanding.
We enjoyed our visit to McCormick and Schmick very much. The food was tasty and cooked to perfection. The service was friend,y and professional. We will definitely be returning.
Fish portions were small (slightly bigger than a deck of cards). I ordered mahi mahi and it was dried out, overcooked, and slightly freezer burned on the edges. My wife ordered a pear martini that overwhelmingly smelled and tasted like flowers. Crab dip appetizer had a huge amount of warm flatbread and about 1 cup of dip. Overall very expensive for the quality of the food. Service was great, the restaurant was practically empty on a Wednesday night.
Service was extremely slow. Two of 3 hot appetizers were served cold. Manager out of touch with customer service. We didn't continue on with dinner and left. A relative and friends of ours had dinner their a few days prior and they experienced terrible services also.
I called ahead to ask if they were going to use a special holiday menu and was told twice "NO". this was not correct and only a limited Christmas menu was available. Order filet medium rare and twin 5oz lobster tails. Filet arrived well done and twin 5oz tails probably weighed 3oz each. Second try at filet resulted in being served a medium well steak. Delicious lobster bisque and very good service. Server was able to bring me a wedge salad that was not available on limited menu. Brother had salmon that he enjoyed very much. Dinner for 2 was not worth the $150 tab.
Overpriced food and slow service. One of my guests ordered the crab cakes--and the portion was embarrassingly small. I ordered the special fish-which tasted fishy/not fresh.
