Very nice dining. Rates well with the M&S's in Washington Stafe.
Everything was amazing. Great service, friendly and attentive staff and last but not least, the food was delicious.
Poor service, I didn’t actually get my appetizer. The main course was ok but nothing special. I was drawn by their reputation and won’t go back again, very average for top $$
Consistantly good food, good service, great atmosphere.
Confusion on where fish is sourced. Confusion on LSC points. Food quality good. Service good. Pricing fair. Atmosphere pleasant.
Always exceeded expectation in service, food quality, presentation, and friendliness of staff.
Out to dinner to celebrate a friends Birthday.
The food was terrific. Nice quiet atmosphere and great Happy Hour appetizers before our meal!
Can’t wait until next time!
Just average. Maybe our dinner choices were poor. The shrimp scampi was tasteless, the barramundi was nothing to write home about. The best dish was the salmon from the kids menu we ordered for our son. The clam chowder and fresh bread were great too.
Lovely evening--good service by our waiter, great food. Only downfall was that even making a reservation and specifying a special occasion the information did not get to our server. Most disappointing to miss this BIG birthday. Kind of left the evening on a let down.
The current wild Scottish salmon is very good. This location is a joke when it comes to deserts. Always seems to be out of something. Tonight they were out of Chocolate Lava Cake and Upside Down Apple Pie with Walnuts. A two for!!! Our server Natalie was excellent though.
Great food, great dining experience and great service. We will definitely be going back
My husband and I went there for date night, as he’s been working out of town. The food was awful neither one of us enjoyed what we had. His beer was even bad the lines needed to be cleaned it tasted funny the only thing good was the service other than that it was a waste of money. Not to mention the table behind us got into a huge fight and started screaming names each other pretty much ruined the whole evening .
This was our first time here for my husbands birthday where we invited another couple who had a five year old. We had amazing service from Matthew who went above and beyond to even help make our five year old guest feel comfortable by showing her how to make a swan out of foil. The food tasted great just didn’t feel the portions were filling enough the the prices they had.
The fish dish was bad. The calamari was very rubbery.
The server was very nice
We 6 ladies celebrated 3 March birthdays with lunch. Everyone enjoyed their food, and our server James was very pleasant and accommodating. And the 3 of us birthday gals got a nice complimentary dessert that we shared with the others. Very nice!
Took my wife Mary for her birthday. Service was par at best! Waiter had major difficulty in opening the wine. No cork survived. Appetizers were awesome. Dinner was very slow coming out. Alaskan King Crab legs were not as fresh. No Claw with King Crab legs, very disappointed. The potatoes that came with the Alaskan King Crab legs were burnt-with black charred pieces. My Filet Mignon dinner was ok, lobster tail was tough., & the clarified butter was almost cold. The “Complimentary Lava Cake” for her birthday, well they were out. Instead they offered a Chocolate Silk Pie. Not silk, thick, and tasted not so silky.
We’ve been there many times & have always had great service and great food. This time-gives me pause on whether we’ll be back.
There was no brunch option on the weekend. My friend and I were one of the few people in the restaurant. The waiter came by our table too often when we first arrived. He was a nice and helpful tho. The food seemed fried and not made fresh. The flavors of the dishes were good for the most part. But I wasn’t very impressed and won’t be returning.
We were both very pleased with our dinners! The Scottish salmon was like nothing I've had before (except in Scotland). We shared a very fresh salad, had unique sides. The best thing is that our server did NOT say "Are you still working on that"? We do not work on our food -- we enjoy it!
Nice atmosphere, good service and food. I would recommend this place for people who love steak and seafood. There is not a huge selection of seafood items but what we ordered (salmon) was very good.
Food and service was excellent - staff was very professional and the food ordered between the 4 of us was tasty!!!
Disappointed that they didn’t honor happy hour prices in the dining room since there was no seating in bar.
Excellent food and service. That's all I wanted. I recommend them based on this visit.
Had an excellent lunch here with a couple of work friends. Excellent service. Ordered the salmon sautée......yummy! Waiter was kind enough to stop what he was doing in order to take pictures for us on each of our phones/cameras. Never felt rushed....felt comfortable just having a conversation after we were done eating. Will return again!
Food was good but our server Westin or Wesley or Wes was horrible. From manner to attentiveness to his weak memory it was all bad. He took great care of his friends at the table next to us tho. This was our second bad experience here out of two visits with poor service. O well. Moving on.
We went here on February 17, 2018 - the Saturday after Valentine's Day - on a double date with friends. We made reservations the day before and requested a booth. We arrived about 30 minutes early so we could have a drink at the bar. The hostesses were very pleasant and told us to enjoy our drinks and they would come get us when our both was ready. We were happy we could get a booth on such short notice. We were seated just before our reservation time. Our waiter, James, was personable and knowledgeable, answering questions about the menu and giving suggestions that paid off. We weren't rushed, the appetizers and meals were paced perfectly and everything was absolutely delicious! We didn't wait overly long for anything and were on our way to our next thing after about 2 hours from us ordering at the bar. I was a little nervous to go there after reading other reviews, but we had a great time and will definitely go back.
Though it was not a busy evening, the service was very slow....except for bringing back the check (though I did have to ask for it originally). The food was mediocre. We had the "wild" salmon....it wasn't. In general, the experience and food was not worth the price.
Great all around! Prices were good and we had an awesome waiter.
I love M&S. They're always consistently excellent with their food and service.
I had a reservation that I booked a few weeks in advance and was made to wait an hour to be seated and then the drinks were slow to arrive at our table. We waited 20 minutes to receive our drinks and the server forgot to place our food order and it was put in late. the food was very good, but based on the amount of time we had to wait for everything and the time it took to be seated I would probably not go there again.
It was Valentines’s Day. The restaurant was very overbooked the hostess said. The restaurant took their own reservations over the phone, but said somehow reservations via websites like this one either were overlooked or they didn’t know about them. Result: We were waiting for over an hour past our reservation time to be seated with a lobby full of others who were also waiting for the same reason. Once seated, our food arrived 45 min later, Time was 10:30 pm. Our waitress apologized & said our meal literally wasthe last order being cooked. After eating, we were the last to leave the restaurant. In short, a very disappointing, annoying experience! Our waitress & the food were the only highlight, along with my husband.
The restaurant called me 2-3 days before the date/time of the reservation (2/14/2018 8:30pm) to confirm on which we did. Got there 5 mins til the time of reservation and was told it was gonna be at least a 20 min wait. I had to ask the hostess again just in case she had mistaken us for somebody who just walked in. They said we had to wait. They took us to our table just a few minutes after 9pm. We ordered and was told the kitchen was backed up. We were famished. Another waiter came out with food for the table next to us and we assumed it was ours. The waiter had the audacity to joke that it would take 2 hours for food to come out. I get that it’s valentines dinner but they shouldn’t be taking people in if they don’t think they can’t meet the reservations made, much more the confirmed reservations. They could’ve at least given our drinks for free. So much for confirming. Boo.
Great food and just an overall great experience. Even though this was a very busy night because of the holiday they still made sure we felt special
We usually enjoy our visits here but our last visits was just bad. We got our table 45 minutes late, the hostess was blunt and not friendly, the food arrived 60 minutes after we placed our order. Hostesses and waitresses kept reminding us it was Valentine’s Day. For the amount of money the restaurant charges for it’s food, surely the management can find a way not to ruin the Valentine’s Day experience for their customers. Our experience was definitely ruined by unprofessional hostess and slow service.
I made reservations for Valentines day at 8:00 pm and my name was not called until 8:43. I honestly do not understand why they overbook reservations. The food was great. I hate sea food and my wife order shrimps as an apetizer and she made me tey them, I have to say that they were really good. Prices were supposed to be $30 and under according to reviews but they did not have anything good under $30.
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Really don't know what the food taste like... Had reservation's and was not seated. A waste of time.
For our Valentine’s Day celebration we made reservations and when we arrived we were told that it would be awhile. We bought a glass of wine and waited for about 15 minutes and we checked again later and they said it would be about an hour so we left. They had over booked and many couples were waiting. You could tell that the staff as well as the guests were stressed. We went and had sushi instead which turned out to be the right choice.
Very loud. Overbooked for Valentine's day. Standing room only in small lobby for almost and hour past reservation. Waiter never offered more drinks after first one not did he bring anymore bread while we waited almost 45 minutes for dinner. Will not be returning.
We arrived as a party of two for Valentine’s Day dinner. Upon arriving we were told that there was a 25 to 30 minute wait and they were running extremely slow. I ordered the Parmesan crusted fillet of soul. It was soggy, warm, and looked as though it had been sitting under a heat lamp for 20+ minutes. My vegetables were cold and rice warm. The waiter asked how my meal was. I told him I was disappointed. All he said was sorry.
We had a reservation at 645 and when we checked in at 630 and was told we were on time to get our table at the time we had the reservation for. We waited 30 minuets to check back and they told us 20-25 minuets well that was big lie as we didn’t get seat until 8pm! This was totally unacceptable. No one apologized..... I will not be going to the restaurant again .
To bad as I loved the food there!!
You Lost customer
Restaurant was obviously overbooked for Valentine’s Day...we were first seated in a banquet room off the main dining room, which was set up with little tables, to cram as many people in as possible...we asked to be moved, and were seated in the dining room...ignored for a while, then finally got things rolling...when the food came out, what a disappointment...I thought shrimp scampi should have some garlic and butter...the noodles were dry, the shrimp over cooked...nothing remarkable here...just a company trying to get as much as they can for a holiday by raising their prices and cramming as many people in as possible, no matter what the end result is...perhaps they should be more concerned about their customers having a great meal, in a nice setting, so they would want to come back...such short sidedness will be their downfall...never again will we go out to this restaurant on a holiday!!!
