The food was fantastic and the waiter was very accommodating. He allowed us to take our time since we rarely get a date night.
We wanted a meal with extended family that could accommodate a member with noise issues that makes them uncomfortable. We were seated in the perfect location for comfort for him as well as allowing all to be able to hear each other and catch up without feeling like we were yelling.
Excellent food and drinks, we will be back!
The server was good however I had to send my wife’s salad and her main dish back to get it right.
Delicious food, great service. Menu options were good. Will definitely be returning.
Always great food!
McCormick & Schmick's is overrated, overpriced, and fails to meet the level of service, especially in the attention to details, that a discerning restaurant goer would likely demand from an establishment charging what they do for the items on their menu.
Salads without offers for freshly crushed black pepper, or freshly grated Parmesan cheese (on Caesar's); glasses of wine priced at one third to half the cost of a bottle of the same label from local retail suppliers; no table service tending to refilling water, asking if additional drinks (including but not limited to glasses of wine) may be desired; and main course dishes presented so boringly on the plate that they appear to lack any personal qualitative touch of pride from the kitchen -- simply stated, this place seems to have no character, no personality, and perhaps no soul. Beyond a business lunch, I see no reason to dine here.
Our waitperson Mingo, was very thorough and knowledgeable and catered to our every need. Personality was extremely pleasant and thoughtfulness was appreciated!
The rock fish was not fresh. Additionally,my friend’s French onion soup. Was delivered cold.
My husband’s birthday dinner. They gave us a very special table and Mallory our server was very gracious. The corkage fee is very reasonable and I enjoyed our Rombauer Chardonnay with the most delicious wild Alaskan halibut with an herb crust. Our server brought my husband a special birthday dessert we enjoyed sharing.
Charley the server was outstanding
So was the manager
The restaurant was completely slow and we had our first waiter come by after sitting at the table for 5 minutes without even being noticed. A waiter came by and said we could get drinks and said the waiter that was supposed to help us is super busy and would be right with us. The first waiter got us drinks and took our appetizer order. The waiter that was supposed to wait on us showed up when the appetizer came and then got our order. Food came out in a pretty decent time then the first waiter came by to check on the food after we were finished with our food already. 10 minutes later waiter number two showed up to clear our plates and asked if we were interested in desert or do you want the check. We asked for a dessert menu and he brought one back. We decided to get dessert but waiter number two didn’t return for 20 minutes and I asked him what happened if he was busy or forgot or what was the problem and he stated that yes he was busy because people didn’t show up to work. I have 19 years waiter and manager experience in the restaurant business and they were extremely slow so either this waiter was on drugs or had something going on in his life where he wasn’t focused. I never write bad comments but I took my wife out for a supposed nice dinner and it was one of the worst waiting experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Either the manager has to help or make sure his staff is asking for help consistently.
Easter was very satisfactory.
Surprised that Easter Brunch menu was not available all day, HOWEVER, they DID decide to let us order from it after all (stopped serving at 2 and earliest resv we could get was 2:15) as many of us wanted egg dishes. BUT, when 4 of us ordered Eggs Benedict and all 8 eggs were waaay overcooked and not oozing yolks, we were disappointed. English muffins were hard as rocks. Hollandaise was 'meh'. We've been here before and will give another chance but very surprised of what came out of the kitchen. Server Matthew provided great service. Surprisingly, the manager didn't say anything to encourage our return.
Would appreciate more healthy items on your menu overall.
We had their Easter Brunch which was very good. Especially the French Toast and Benedict's. Server was very attentive.
I have been here twice now, and both times the beer I wanted was out of stock! After I was told they were out of the beer I liked I ordered oysters. The waiter then came back and told me they were out of the oysters I wanted. They should inform their wait staff better. It makes me hesitant to go back.
I made the reservation on line and when we arrived the hostess quickly found my reservation and seated us immediately. Our server was very personable and efficient with great selection ideas. The menu has a nice variety for a group that has varried tastes and food preferences like my group has. Everything we ordered was delicious, the ribeye steaks were juicy and flavorful, the seafood was perfectly prepared as were the Cocktails and Chocolate Basket Dessert was perfect to share.
It's a lovely restaurant and can go comfortably both ways, dressy fancy or business casual.
fish was just “ok”. Very thinly sliced Dry
Our server was in training and we got very good service. The food was tasty and arrived in a timely manner. We had the ability to chat and enjoy the evening and will return.
I would have given them 5 stars but my entree, a chopped salad, appeared to be left over from the night before. It was very wilted and I would have sent it back had it not been a Birthday celebration lunch and I didn't want to spoil it for everyone else. The other 4 entrees were said to be very good. I have had the chopped salad on two past occasions and it was excellent . I will give the salad one more try in the future.
My food was a little dry and my husband wasn't impressed with his swordfish.
Service was outstanding
Will have the fish and chips if we come back
First time in this place! Great food and very friendly staff. Can't wait to go back 😊
Excellent service and very nice ambiance. The steak was not very tender and the lobster tail was a little dry and over cooked. The potatoes and other vegetables were tasty though. They gave us a complimentary dessert for my birthday, which was very good.
Very nice dining. Rates well with the M&S's in Washington Stafe.
Everything was amazing. Great service, friendly and attentive staff and last but not least, the food was delicious.
Poor service, I didn’t actually get my appetizer. The main course was ok but nothing special. I was drawn by their reputation and won’t go back again, very average for top $$
The drinks were poor. 2 drinks from bar, were waste of money $22.00 Then we move to soda at 6.00 each they were no good, sprite must been out. At this point we asked for water,That was great. SO we spent $34.00 + tip . Not good!!!!! Note we would have had a couple more drinks, but with such bad drinks we left right after dinner!
Consistantly good food, good service, great atmosphere.
Confusion on where fish is sourced. Confusion on LSC points. Food quality good. Service good. Pricing fair. Atmosphere pleasant.
Always exceeded expectation in service, food quality, presentation, and friendliness of staff.
Out to dinner to celebrate a friends Birthday.
The food was terrific. Nice quiet atmosphere and great Happy Hour appetizers before our meal!
Can’t wait until next time!
Just average. Maybe our dinner choices were poor. The shrimp scampi was tasteless, the barramundi was nothing to write home about. The best dish was the salmon from the kids menu we ordered for our son. The clam chowder and fresh bread were great too.
Lovely evening--good service by our waiter, great food. Only downfall was that even making a reservation and specifying a special occasion the information did not get to our server. Most disappointing to miss this BIG birthday. Kind of left the evening on a let down.
The current wild Scottish salmon is very good. This location is a joke when it comes to deserts. Always seems to be out of something. Tonight they were out of Chocolate Lava Cake and Upside Down Apple Pie with Walnuts. A two for!!! Our server Natalie was excellent though.
Great food, great dining experience and great service. We will definitely be going back
My husband and I went there for date night, as he’s been working out of town. The food was awful neither one of us enjoyed what we had. His beer was even bad the lines needed to be cleaned it tasted funny the only thing good was the service other than that it was a waste of money. Not to mention the table behind us got into a huge fight and started screaming names each other pretty much ruined the whole evening .
This was our first time here for my husbands birthday where we invited another couple who had a five year old. We had amazing service from Matthew who went above and beyond to even help make our five year old guest feel comfortable by showing her how to make a swan out of foil. The food tasted great just didn’t feel the portions were filling enough the the prices they had.
The fish dish was bad. The calamari was very rubbery.
The server was very nice
We 6 ladies celebrated 3 March birthdays with lunch. Everyone enjoyed their food, and our server James was very pleasant and accommodating. And the 3 of us birthday gals got a nice complimentary dessert that we shared with the others. Very nice!
