Joined another couple for their recently introduced "date night" prix fixe menu. Nice selection, and everyone had a pleasant meal. Restaurant was not crowded and server was somewhat inattentive and didn't have the warm personality other wait staff at this location have had.
We had the Landry's Date Night menu. Good value. Great food. Great service. Always enjoy this restaurant. Consistently excellent.
Special Dinner Date Night by Landry's Select Club made for a special occasion. Diana treated all of us as though we were really special. It was treat for both food and service!

Food just doesn’t taste as fresh or hot as it should be. Risotto was way overdone/dry. Fish was overdone/ not super fresh tasting. Lobster a bit overdone.
Interesting choice of appetizers, excellent meal, and one of the best restaurant wait staff we have ever had.
Loved the small lunch meals offered, and appreciated the fact that they were open on New Year's Day.
Heorge is excellent bar tender they happened to be busy but they don’t make any efforts to pick up the dishes once you are done with them and there is not much space when you eat at a very small space!!!
the food was excellent at a reasonable price and our server Charlie was outstanding. Very friendly, accommodating and provided excellent service and was very friendly.
New Years Eve
we went for new years eve dinner and were very happy with the service
We had reservations for 7:00, were seated at 7:42. Took f o r e v e r just to get salad and appetizer. After we had some food in our stomachs, we didn't mind waiting a while for entrees. Ordered desert to go right when entree came because they clearly didn't staff well for New Year's Eve and we wanted to get on with the rest of our plans.
Pleasant New Year’s Eve dinner. Seating delayed about half hour after our reservation time. Sea bass and surf& turf were tasty, well- prepared. We’re disappointed Oysters Rockefeller were not available, perhaps because of holiday occasion. Chocolate bag was exceptional, the main reason we chose this restaurant for special occasion! Our server, Jamie, was right on top of everything. He made the evening enjoyable. Friendly, attentive, timely service.
Service wasn’t good, waitress made our entire party uncomfortable with negative attitude and very unfriendly. Table wasn’t set, drink service was slow.
Went for New Years Eve. The menu for that evening was much smaller & lacking a pasta dish. The server was fine and the kitchen was accommodating, but I think with the huge volume of guests the kitchen had to cook for, the food was not as good as the last time we had gone. Would go back again but not on a day like New Years Eve again.

Nice anniversary dinner in Roseville Dec 30. Not busy probably due to the Holiday period, so quiet ambiance. Waitress was efficient but not overly attentive. Food excellent, perhaps a bit pricey.
I received a gift card for Christmas, so I thought it might be a good night to use it. I arrived with my family about fifteen minutes before my reservation for dinner on December 30 and was told we would be seated closer to the reservation time. The restaurant was nearly empty, so I am not sure if there was an issue with staffing. Others, who appeared to not have reservations, were seated as they came in to the restaurant while we waited. A minute or two past our reservation time, we were shown to our table. We sat for twenty minutes without a person stopping by to greet us, or bring water to the table. A number of servers walked right past our table while we waited. After twenty minutes of no service, we did mention to the host that we have not had any service. He apologized and went in the back. I eventually saw him speaking with a server who was waiting tables near us; she looked ticked off at us after he pointed to our table. We gave it another five minutes and decided to go somewhere else. We informed the hostess as we were leaving that we had waited nearly 25 minutes for someone to stop by our table before we left. It is sad when you are trying to spend $40 a person plus the cost of drinks to only have a restaurant to refuse to serve you. I would hate to see what the service is like when the restaurant is busy. I do still have a gift card I need to figure out how to get rid of. Maybe regift it to someone, but I really would wish this kind of service on anyone. If you are in the area, I would recommend going to Ruth's Chris across the street. They have much better service, and I assume better food. Actually, just about anywhere else would have better service.
The sweet girls at the host stand along with our server, Sarah, made our visit feel very special. Excellent food and great service
They were 2 hours behind on reservations and then food took 40 +mind. Managers were refusing to talk to people and left the front staff to deal with at least 50 angry families, crowds and complaints.

After making our reservation, we still had an hour wait, we wished we would have known. But our hostess was super sweet, and our waiter Derek was awesome. They definitely made our experience great and make us want to come back.
We had 7;15 reservations for Christmas evening Did not get seated 8:10. By 9:00 we had not received our order and left. Place was a mad house. They must have over booked. Maybe t was just a bad evening, but we wont be back to try again.
SITTING WAS 45 MIN LATE. ONCE WE WERE SEATED WE RARELY WERE VISITED BY OUR WATER. HE TOOK OUR ORDER AND IT TOOK 30 MINUTES TO GET DRINKS THEN ANOTHER 30 MIN FOR SOUP AND SALAD AND ANOTHER 45 MINUTES FOR OUR MEAL. WE WERE THER AFTER SEATING FOR OVER TWO HOURS WHICH SEEMED A LITTLE MUCH
Terrible. We had a 6pm reservation. Didn’t get seated till 7:15. Didn’t get food till 8:30. They were out of steak and a lot of items.
First time there and won’t go back
We had to wait 40 minutes past our original reservation time had to one hour to get are salad, before we were half way done with are salad are entree came out cold
Made reservations for Christmas dinner. We arrived 30 minutes prior to our reservation and the hostess said they were 30 minutes behind schedule. Actually we were seated one hour after our reservation so we waited 90 minutes. Secondly, they had already ran out of menu items like the rib eye & New York steaks. Third, there was not enough servers nor bartenders. My husband never received his chowder and it took one hour for my glass of wine. Once we ordered, it took 45-50 minutes for the food to come out. Lesson learned - never go out to dinner on a major holiday!
We dined xmas.... seated 1.5 hours late, service slow, out of a lot of food but able to spend xmas with loved ones, we have homes to go to , money health , so very grateful for a Merry Christmas dinner....
We made Christmas dinner reservations - 5:45 PM. Arrived at 5:35 and were told they were running behind by 30-40 minutes. We asked why and were told that they overbooked the restaurant. We checked back at 6:10 and were told they were just seating the 5:30 reservations. We observed 5 vacant tables in one dining room - no one was being seated. We were finally seated at 6:55!! Still empty tables in the front dining room. It became obvious that they were understaffed. We were lucky as our waiter did a great job under strenuous circumstances. All dinners (except for the fish & chips) were excellent. When we left, people still waiting to be seated - and there were 5 empty booths in the dining room. Staff did the best job they could - management should be ashamed of themselves!! No one wanted to end their Christmas celebration under such frustrating circumstances. Never again!
We had Christmas dinner reservations for 4 people for 5:30pm. We got there on-time and since it was a bit chilly outside, the check-in area was jammed packed with people squeezed in waiting for their tables. Upon arrival, the people standing in line in front of us told us that being seated was a half-hour behind. Okay, I get it. It's Christmas and there aren't that many restaurants open, so it's crowded. Where this restaurant fell short was with their customer service. No one apologized nor offered any compensation for the wait. We're FINALLY seated at 6:50pm. Yep, a whole hour and 20 mins after our reservation time. Now we're starving. We're given menus that say "Merry Christmas" on them, decide what we're going to have, then the server says, "Oh, that's the wrong menu. We have a limited menu tonight." WHAT?!?!? It says "Merry Christmas" on the top of it. Was this LAST YEAR's Christmas day menu? The server then asks someone else what menu we're supposed to order from then finds out that they're out of a lot of limited menu choices, so now we get to order off the "Merry Christmas" menu that was given to us. I had the stuffed salmon with crab and shrimp, since the server recommended it, but best way to sum up the taste..."Meh." Wish I had ordered something else. Two others had the seared ahi with wasabi mashed potatoes and a very weak looking half piece of bok choy. The ahi didn't look very fresh or appealing. The fourth person had a fish entree, but never commented good or bad about it. Lastly, after ordering, but before the food came, one of our party went to the restroom and passed a section of four completely empty tables. Meanwhile those who had reservations are standing in the waiting area for over an hour just to get seated. Someone there is not managing this restaurant very efficiently, resulting in dissatisfied customers. Overall, completely disappointed with this eating establishment. Doubtful I will be back.
The food was very good, but the big problem was that someone didn't show up in the kitchen so we waited a very long time (over an hour) for a table.
So sad that this was such a negative experience for our family on Christmas Day. We had reservations at 515 and did not get seated until 615- the restaurant was tremendously understaffed and completely overbooked they should have stopped walk ins from going to the Happy Hour lounge in the least to get it under control - customers were so unhappy and angry and I can just imagine how much worse it was for those that came in later. Our waitress was a hard worker and tried to make up for it and the food was still pretty yummy.
Worst Christmas experience ever.
Had a 5pm reservation, checked in 15 minutes early and was told they over booked, they had no tables and the kitchen was running 1 hour behind. We finally got sat at a table at 5:53pm. The service was horrible. The staff was overwhelmed and the quality of service and food took a major hit. Overall feeling was similar to an overbooked flight, minus the flight voucher for getting bumped. So disappointed. What a horrible end to our holiday.
