Grest food, great service as always.
Good food. Waiter was a little scattered but still ok
Arrived for a meal on St.Patrick's Day. Loved the ambiance and servers celebrating the day. Hostess and Server were very pleasant. We ordered appetizers, soup and salad. This is where the experience fell short. The mussels were great. The firecracker shrimp and chopped salad were good not great. Soup was thicker than it should be (not in a good way). Oysters Rockefeller, which is my favorite were so bad we didn't even eat them all (only 4). We don't like to complain, but should have since these were $16. I'm glad we opted not to order full meals on this visit.
Food and service was excellent will definitely go back soon.
It was great
Parking is a challenge be sure to valet. Otherwise great
We had a nice meal and evening with our friends in a cozy booth. The wait staff was attentive but not overbearing. Food was good. Service was timely but not too quick. We all enjoyed the evening.
Absolutely terrible. Our waiter was inattentive, the orders came wrong, food was not hot, not appetizing to look at on the plate...even drinks were wrong . The 4 of us received our entrees at different times! Crazy prices for very subpar food - will not return. There is a reason why noone was in there and the place next door was packed! They were even sweeping around our table while we were eating!!Our bill was $310...talked to manager and she did not seem to care AT ALL!! Total disappointment!
The restaurant was very busy so the kitchen and bar were backed up. Got our salad before our drinks! We've been to this location and the OakBrook location many times and were disappointed in our meal. It was just OK. Nothing special about it and we've always been pleased with our meals in the past, Could have been because it was so busy .
Could not even Park at the Restaurant, Was directed to a lot one block away which caused us to be 10 mins late for reservation then had to wait an additional 30mins for our table, once seated we ordered 2 drinks and an appetizer and was almost finished with said appetizer BEFORE we received our drinks. Food was average at best , Service slow . Will stick with Capital Grill or Gibson’s next time we’re seeing a show at the Rosemont
Everything was wonderful. Our server was very atentive. She knew the menu very well,so was very helpful in our selection. We had theater reservation, so she made sure we were on time without feeling rushed. Food and wine were excelent.
The food was a little salty and the service was not that great had to wait to catch our server to ask for things that he/She forgot.
Food was excellent. Just wish the restaurant validated our parking in full instead of a discounted rate. Other restaurants nearby were validating parking stub in full. Atmosphere was good. Service good
We had a cousins/aunt get together lunch for five. Service was wonderful. Our waitress seemed to anticipate our needs. She was very polite, personable and professional. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
The service was average. Seating was fast. The crab cakes were disappointing and had too much filler resulting in poor taste. The value for the overall price was poor but could have been rated as fair if the entrees were better. The wine list was acceptable but a little overpriced.
The green beans that came with the twin lobster tails were a little under cooked for me.
We have not gone to this restaurant in a while because of the service. We thought we would try it again but the service was still sub par. One thing that stood out was that we had to ask for bread which isn’t a big deal until we saw our server automatically bringing it to her other tables around us.
Food was excellent as well as the service.
Has gone downhill. Would not recommend this place anymore. Food was fair and service was poor. Dark and dreary inside needs an upgrade.
Great dinner good service and wonderful atmosphere!
Fabulous as always
Met a friend for drinks and appetizers in the bar area, being near the front entrance, it was temperate, quiet and comfortable. The $5 appetizer menu was fantastic! Will return again and again! The staff from beginning to end was friendly and attentive all the way around! I very much recommend this location! You will not be disappointed!
The quality here is always high, and the flavors are excellent. Service this particular evening was, as always, top-notch. I had the chopped salad and the sea bass - I would've licked the bowl clean if not in public! The flavors are wonderful together. My dinner companion had the swordfish; while good, that's about as much as he could say about it. I'm not one who likes meatier-textured fish, as I often find them a bit drier than I care for. That was his issue this particular night. The sea bass was the option he wished, in retrospect, he'd chosen.
The twin lobster tails came with the side of green beans and mashed potatoes were very tasty.
My first time dining at McCormick & Schmicks, as well as my date, and we both agreed that we will definitely be back soon!! Everything from the food to the service was above par. The waiter could’ve been a little bit more joyful and engaging, but I still give him 4 out of 5 stars because I noticed he was the same way with every table and he did tend to our needs whenever we requested anything. Again, great establishment and we will be back.
Food was very good! I highly recommend the apple pie. I was disappointed with the general service. Our booth was so close to the next table that is was difficult to get out without hitting the other customers chair. I felt this was recognized by the wait staff but not addressed. When I approached the manager regarding it, I perceived him to be indifferent to my feedback. For the price, I expected better
There is no better Lobster Bisque, anywhere! However, the service is a tad slow. We had tickets to a show at the Rosemont Theatre and had to skip coffee after dinner to make curtain time. Also, the ladies rest room stall I used was just filthy, with no hook on which to hang my purse.
Great happy hour
We took a team of business associates to M&S on a weeknight to celebrate getting a lot of work done in preparation for a meeting. The food is always consistently good at M&S. The steaks were well prepared and the entire group enjoyed splitting the chocolate bag.
Even though they were not very busy, the service was slow. The food was OK, but not up to the prices we paid. I was especially dissapointed in the cheesecake desert. They covered it in a sauce that tasted like diet strawberry Kool-aid. We won't be going back there anytime soon.
We seated promptly, and the service was good, the waiter was attentive and very informative about what was on the menu!
Very nice place . Heard a lot of good recommendations but we must of had a off night cause our food was good but not great. Nice place.
Dessert was fantastic.
We dined early and it wasn’t crowded but Computers went down and that seem to throw them for a loop. The food was very very good but a bit on the expensive side for what we got
We spent about 3-4 hours eating and drinking with a group of ladies. Our original waitress left on a shift change and our second waiter was not quite as organized or attentive. The restaurant wasn’t super busy, which kind of surprised us for the Friday after valentine’s day. Food was excellent and drinks were awesome.
We were so looking forward to this restaurant prior to seeing the Little Big Town concert. Each of the three of us were disappointed with the quality of the food. #1 ordered Ahi Tuna with mash potatoes. The Ahi Tuna didn't have a good color and the mash potatoes came lumpy and cold. The waitress did bring another order of mashed potatoes which were fine, however, they were a totally different consistency from the first order, which was strange. #2 ordered blackened white fish which was very unappetizing looking. It was impossible to tell what it was blackened with - it looked like it was served black skin side up. It was fair. #3 ordered lobster stuffed mezzaluna. It was ok, served warm, not hot, and the dough was tough. The manager gave the table a dessert on the house for the cold mashed potatoes, which was a nice gesture. The creme brule tasted "old." The table ended the dinner with a cup of coffee each. The one cappuccino was served fine, and the two coffees were served cold/warm - not hot. All-in-all very, very disappointing. The waitress was attentive and nice, but seemed a bit "green." Two in the party ordered a salad, which were presented well and tasted good. The calamari appetizer shared by the table was the best part of the dinner, although it was also not served hot, it was lukewarm.
Overall was good, not great but will return again when occasion presents.
Plate that our appetizer was served on had a piece of gum stuck to the bottom. Waiter placed down the plate and the gum spread out from his arm to the table. He tried to remove the gum as if he was going to serve it to us until we asked that it be taken back. Everything was downhill from there.
This place used to be upscale, but it has really gone downhill. "Billion Dollar Buyer" signs when you walk in and on menu cheapen the experience. Service was inattentive and haphazard. Bus boy running through near empty restaurant. Random waiter smelled my napkin after I cleaned my hands (bizarre!). Food was mediocre. Cold foods were warm. Hot foods were cold. Nothing special about presentation at all. Hard sales pitch at the end of the meal for Landrys Club using worn pamphlet. We couldn't wait to leave. Oh, the bread was very good (but don't ask for extra butter because you won't get it.)
Wonderful. All around it was a great dining experience
Food was adequate, not great.
