Food was very good! I highly recommend the apple pie. I was disappointed with the general service. Our booth was so close to the next table that is was difficult to get out without hitting the other customers chair. I felt this was recognized by the wait staff but not addressed. When I approached the manager regarding it, I perceived him to be indifferent to my feedback. For the price, I expected better
Great happy hour
We took a team of business associates to M&S on a weeknight to celebrate getting a lot of work done in preparation for a meeting. The food is always consistently good at M&S. The steaks were well prepared and the entire group enjoyed splitting the chocolate bag.
Even though they were not very busy, the service was slow. The food was OK, but not up to the prices we paid. I was especially dissapointed in the cheesecake desert. They covered it in a sauce that tasted like diet strawberry Kool-aid. We won't be going back there anytime soon.
We seated promptly, and the service was good, the waiter was attentive and very informative about what was on the menu!
Very nice place . Heard a lot of good recommendations but we must of had a off night cause our food was good but not great. Nice place.
Dessert was fantastic.
We dined early and it wasn’t crowded but Computers went down and that seem to throw them for a loop. The food was very very good but a bit on the expensive side for what we got
We spent about 3-4 hours eating and drinking with a group of ladies. Our original waitress left on a shift change and our second waiter was not quite as organized or attentive. The restaurant wasn’t super busy, which kind of surprised us for the Friday after valentine’s day. Food was excellent and drinks were awesome.
We were so looking forward to this restaurant prior to seeing the Little Big Town concert. Each of the three of us were disappointed with the quality of the food. #1 ordered Ahi Tuna with mash potatoes. The Ahi Tuna didn't have a good color and the mash potatoes came lumpy and cold. The waitress did bring another order of mashed potatoes which were fine, however, they were a totally different consistency from the first order, which was strange. #2 ordered blackened white fish which was very unappetizing looking. It was impossible to tell what it was blackened with - it looked like it was served black skin side up. It was fair. #3 ordered lobster stuffed mezzaluna. It was ok, served warm, not hot, and the dough was tough. The manager gave the table a dessert on the house for the cold mashed potatoes, which was a nice gesture. The creme brule tasted "old." The table ended the dinner with a cup of coffee each. The one cappuccino was served fine, and the two coffees were served cold/warm - not hot. All-in-all very, very disappointing. The waitress was attentive and nice, but seemed a bit "green." Two in the party ordered a salad, which were presented well and tasted good. The calamari appetizer shared by the table was the best part of the dinner, although it was also not served hot, it was lukewarm.
Overall was good, not great but will return again when occasion presents.
Plate that our appetizer was served on had a piece of gum stuck to the bottom. Waiter placed down the plate and the gum spread out from his arm to the table. He tried to remove the gum as if he was going to serve it to us until we asked that it be taken back. Everything was downhill from there.
This place used to be upscale, but it has really gone downhill. "Billion Dollar Buyer" signs when you walk in and on menu cheapen the experience. Service was inattentive and haphazard. Bus boy running through near empty restaurant. Random waiter smelled my napkin after I cleaned my hands (bizarre!). Food was mediocre. Cold foods were warm. Hot foods were cold. Nothing special about presentation at all. Hard sales pitch at the end of the meal for Landrys Club using worn pamphlet. We couldn't wait to leave. Oh, the bread was very good (but don't ask for extra butter because you won't get it.)
Wonderful. All around it was a great dining experience
Food was adequate, not great.
food was great! service was ok. the attention given to me was a little lacking. the waitress had some other tables with more people, therefore, she was not as attentive as I have had, when I ate at the Skokie store. she did not ask if everything was okay, unless I called her when she was passing by.
We had a group of 9 for a birthday dinner. Everyone was looking forward to king crab legs- they didn’t have any, “they were out”. Disappointing but we rolled with it. Some dishes were great, some were just okay.
Valet and Hostess were exceptional. I just thought the service was very slow for 5pm on a Monday night with only a few diners seated. The food was not worth the price, given that we had one of the specials and one signature dish and they were just ok. The McCormick & Schmick's downtown is much quicker and food is better. That said, the waiter was very nice and attentive, despite waiting very long for drinks, then again for appetizer (over 20 minutes), then again for entry.
Terrible terrible service. We wanted better for a special birthday dinner. The pacing of the meal was awful for a slow snowy night. 20 min between appetizers and soup. Another 20 to get our entrees. We kept asking for more bread to fill in the time. We weren't greeted when we sat down for some time. Our waitress forgot part of our order and didn't ask if we want a dessert menu and brought a "bday dessert" that my husband was allergic to. I hope the service at the downtown location is better. The food however, was great once we finally ate.
Waiter took our drink order and then came back 15 minutes later to ask if we were already to order drinks. Substituted our oysters with another kind without asking first, lobster bisque was delicious. Crab legs barely edible. After eating 2, I gave up. Let the waiter know that they were tough, dry and cold. He apologized and brought us a complimentary dessert. I think it would have been appropriate for him to have a manager stop by or ask if I would like them replaced. But no, paid $40 for a horrid meal. Thankfully I still managed to have a great date with my husband. But we will not be returning here.
First visit in Rosemont, experience was very good. Started with the calamari which was cooked perfectly. We had the Sea Bass and Blackened Whitefish. Sea Bass was excellent, Whitefish was good but nothing out of the ordinary.
Dan was our server, he was very attentive and did a fine job. Overall it was a very good experience.
