Food was delicious and the upside down apple pie is a must try! Service was excellent also.
Great food as always, service is sub par if that. We waited 30 mins before drink orders were taken. Drinks and food came out very slow. Our waitress didn't even know we were there until we asked the hostess to get her. She was nice about getting everything we asked for, but service was slow.
Server tried his best. Bar was “backed up” with 4 customers and 1/3 of restaurant full. Took about 10min to get a drink. Food was bland with little taste. Been to Mcormick many times and was saddened to have this experience for a bday eve out. May give it one more try but for a $400 dinner for 4ppl, we may wait a bit.
Very safe dining experience during the pandemic. The food was delicious and our server Brianna was very kind. I will definitely be back again!
I love this place! Everything was delicious and the service was phenomenal (our server was female but had an uncommon name). Glad I chose to celebrate Sweetest Day there!
Enjoyed everything from the appetizers to the desserts. Would definitely recommend.
During these COVID times, the restaurant wasn't busy on a Thursday night. Our server, Juan, was exceptional as was the food. Everything pertaining to sanitizing and social distancing was taken into consideration. The only thing that was "off" - and had NOTHING to do with M&S - was the parking garage - which is attached to the Loew's Hotel - and, with validation was only $5 (a good deal!) - but the machine to accept our tickets, pay and exit was unattended, dark, impossible to figure out and beyond frustrating. "Only $5" - GREAT, but when you got to the machine, one could ONLY pay with a credit card. Seatbelts, wallets, fumbling - grr. ... Had to spend a moment on the other side of the exit regrouping before driving off ... Thankfully, the M&S experience was perfect!
Crab cake app was excellent, mostly crab, wedge salad very good. The lobster bisque was excellent and so was the scallops main entrée. Drinks were mixed perfectly-Lemon drop martini.
The waitress need more training and the food was not what I expected.
Everyone in the group was surprised and disappointed by the quality and unimaginative presentation of the main entrees. More reminiscent of bad wedding food (blob of mashed potatoes and green beans) than an acclaimed and high priced restaurant. For the few tables occupied, we felt rushed.
Was looking forward to a first visit for all... none of us will return.
I had the seabass in an herb broth. The fish was a bit chewy and the herb broth was extremely salty. I know things are strained now because of Covid, so I really don't want to complain. Service by Diego was very good, very attentive. We hope to go back in better times.
Was a lovely experience with pleasant staff. Was a very quiet in there but I think the seating restrictions from covid played a big part.
I had the ceab stuffed sole and it was just awesome! I've also never experienced a cheesecake that melts in your mouth.... I really had an awesome experience.
good implementation of anti-Corona-virus measures, friendly and efficient staff, excellent food. But: happy-hour only in the bar area, not in the restaurant.
No valet parking, but a 'sponsored' parking ticket for $5 in the parking construction next door. Very convenient.
This place is not cheap, but it's money well spent.
This was the worst dining experience I have had in a long time. I was a single diner, just wanting to get a quick bite at the bar and go home. The hostess said to sit in the bar area. I was the only one in the entire bar area. Yet it took 11 minutes to be acknowledged by the wait staff. I got up and took a menu from another table so I could look at it! The wine and wedge salad came out on time. However, the entree took over 40 minutes! And then, when it came, it was the WRONG ORDER. It took forever for the right one to come. In total, without dessert, it was a 95 minute experience. I ordered everything at one time, and was in a hurry. No such luck. The waiter apologized and gave me a free second glass of wine, which I almost turned down as I was driving. Wine doesn’t solve everything. The food was the saving grace, however, as it was excellent. I’ll think twice about attempting a quick bite at the bar at this location.
Terrible service , not concerned with the customer experience AT ALL. It was my sons birthday, there was no attention to that detail. We arrived early and STILL had to wait, while a walk-in couple was seated. #Tuh Dismal experience
The food was good and reasonably priced. However, the customer service was subpar. Waiter was not as attentive as we thought he should have been. This was both me and my significant others first time ever eating at M&S and probably will be our last.
The portions were small and not worth the price!
The outdoor seating was okay. We had to ask for table cloth for our table. The server came and took our drink orders. Ten minutes later we had the drinks. The Margaritas forgot to have any kick or flavor.
The server took our order and it was delivered by a food runner. The server did not return until she presented us with the check.
The New England Lobster Roll special had more baby shrimp than lobster pieces. In fact after taking it home I found I had micro pieces of lobster. The filling was two tablespoons of salad. The bread and clam chowder were good.
Would I go back...
I wrote to the headquarters of M&S and complained. Let's see what happens.
Great waiter and great meal.
Can’t believe you didn’t have bread. Was wife’s birthday thought maybe ice cream on the house.
Meals and service is always great.
The waiter wasn't very nice. not used to that from McCormick & Schmick's. Maybe it the Rosemont location?
I do not recommend this location.
We really enjoyed our dinner and dessert was delicious!
The service was just as delicious as the food.
We were celebrating 3 birthdays. Service was perfect restaurant was slow. My fish had no flavor at all Sole stuffed with Crab cakes . My husband had fried shrimp and they were great.
Not sure if we will return lunch was expensive only 1 drink
Food was great. I had to ask the server one to many times for utensils and/or water. This was my only issue.
Waiter did not attend to us as he should. He had too many tables to be by himself. Shrimp linguine was fishy tasting, as if they’re booking the noodles in shrimp water
It was a few days ago so I forgot what I got but the food was pretty good!
Service wasn't as good as in the past. They also provided me with a validated card for parking that didn't work, then told me to talk to the hotel. Not what I expected. Server was slow, had too many tables and the bar.
Great food, great service. An excellent restaurant. The apple pie is amazing. Thank you!
While my meal (Parmesan cod) was excellent, my husband's steak was not all that impressive. His lobster tail was good, however. I realize the restaurant just reopened, but the overall service was slow.
Visited my nephew
The server was great and was hostess, waiter and busboy. Food taste was really good just the price for what was served seemed a bit too much. Salad was old and an add on along with any type of soup and no bread and butter brought out.
Great food and fresh seafood
Was a little disappointed with our experience. They had a parred down menu, which I understand, but that was a little disappointing to not have gotten to choose what I had originally wanted. Also the service was almost too fast — our appetizer came so quick it was a little worrisome. We ordered the calamari and it was so dry and had so much breading. And instead of an aioli it came with marinara sauce so it was just a lackluster combination. Entrees were just ok but then for dessert we chose the chocolate silk pie and it was still a bit stiff, like they didn’t let it defrost or soften up enough before serving. Overall I had expected a better experience/better food for what we were paying. We were done within 45 minutes so easily the fastest restaurant dinner we’ve had; I had higher expectations for a steak and seafood place like this. I could have stayed closer to home or cooked at home and been more satisfied.
Best place to dine. Outstanding service and pleasant staff.
The waiter was exceptional. I appreciate as a business traveler being treated well even though I'm a lone diner. The food was outstanding. I'm not a fan of the by-the-glass wine selection, but I found an adequate Cote-du-Rhone Chapoutier Rose that was nice on a hot evening. McCormick & Schmick's is pricey, too pricey, but honestly I didn't leave disappointed.
The menu at the restaurant did not match the menu provided online for that location. The food was bland and uninspiring. I could have had the same meal somewhere else for less, or cooked it myself to be honest. Waiter was awesome, unfortunately the food was basic.
Very good food, cobia and filet mignon were spectacular!
Great quality of food. Great selection. Need to bring valet parking back.
Food has not been as good ☹️
