Had a reservation for my family. Waited close to 10 min and finally had to waive down someone just to get water and take drink order. Food was good but service was terrible. Had to continue to ask for drinks, napkins. Food took long time to arrive. It wasn’t hot as it should.
It’s not worth the price. I do not recommend this place.
As always, dining at McCormick and Schmick’s is a great experience. We love the ambiance, and the servers are top notch. A special thank you to Chris, the manager, who always makes us feel so welcome.
Been here to dine before and will return. All aspects were memorable!
Too small portions. Rubber lobster. Watery, gooey salmon. Minature stuffed shrimp. Great service.
Amazing thanksgiving meal! Cooked perfect
Everyone was very nice and attentive, the holiday meal pairing was excellent.
Food was very good service was poor. Server was poor did not ask if table wanted drinks had no idea about food on menu being it was a holiday maybe he was a replacement
Food was good, but not great. Extremely expensive for smallish portions and ok food. We had a party of 5. One had parmesan crusted chicken and said it was terrible. The vegetable side of green beans was very bland. Cheddar mashed potatoes didn't taste very good. Two people had steaks and said they were pretty good. Server was very nice but our drinks were empty several times and we were always searching around for him to get a refill. Went on a Sunday night and it was not at all busy. Have no desire to eat here again.
We eat here alot and the food is fantastic...... quiet Sunday evening which we loved
So I took my girlfriend to here for her birthday and I made reservations, because she deserves the BEST! So we arrived and when we arrived I let them know I had made reservations! When we were about to be seated I asked for a both for a more intimate setting with my girlfriend! They had NO PROBLEM with that! So while my girlfriend was walking with the wonderful hostess to our booth, I talked to the gentleman that was at the entrance kiosk and had mentioned the special request for a dessert for her birthday and he simply said I got it and asked would she like creme brûlée or chocolate lava, I said chocolate lava, he was very professional and courteous! My man! So we’re seated and our waiter REX, comes to the table and gives us choices of water and bread! Rex, was a waiter that all restaurant should...no, NEED TO HAVE! He came to check on us numerous times!!! He saw my drink was low and without me asking had a refill already at the table! He was REALLY the BEST waiter I’ve ever had ANYWHERE! LITERALLY!!! So towards the end of our meal, I went to the restroom and before I went in Rex approached me out of sight of my girlfriend and said when you come out I’ll bring your girlfriends birthday dessert with a candle!!! I was blown away, because I’ve never had service like this before! So literally about a minute after I came out, the dessert was on its way, my girlfriends face lit up! Thank you again Rex, I definitely appreciated that, because everything was a surprise for her today! Needless to say my girlfriend had a great day and experience at dinner! We will definitely be back! Oh and also he let us know about a future promotion for Bourbon, Bacon and Beer!!! Rex was definitely on point!!! We’ll DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!
Food overcooked with wrong ingredients. Service was awful. Server couldn't explain one of the featured fish, and she didn't know the ingredients of others (my husband's food included ingredients that weren't called for; Brussels sprouts instead of beets). Manager didn't help at all.
Good food, not great. Prices were reasonable but still spend $150 for steaks/shrimp/drinks. Piano player in the bar area made it pretty loud.
We were celebrating 3 birthdays which are really next week. My two granddaughters will be 7 and 11 and me...old!
One of my granddaughters had the calamari and the other had the spaghetti while I had a crab cake and walnut salad.
Then, Molly brought two chocolate lava cakes for the girls and we sang happy birthday to us. We had a wonderful time and everything was delicious! Molly was very special.
Great dinner. Very nice treat for us treat us veterans to a meal. We were treated extremely great. Thank you
the food was very good would tell friends bro and sister about this place
The service was very good, and I enjoyed the food. But there are definitely better places to eat in the city for the price.
Always a wonderful dinning experience. Very good value.
I would like to say a special thank you from myself and other veterans that enjoy your free meal each year.
Food is always delicious but since it was extremely busy they didnt serve bread to our table. Waitress said it was in the oven baking. Shrimp dinner for 21 dollars included 5 shrimp and about 8 French fries. Cup of soup is $6.50 and salad (which was not large at all) was $8.50. Again delicious food but definitely over priced for the amount of food you receive.
The service and food have always been great!!!!!!!!
M&S always hosts veterans on Veterans Day and Memorial Day. Thank you! Order the calamari appetizer- always tender inside, and the breading on the outside is just right. So many places put too much breading on the calamari and/or fry it for too long.
I would still recommend because I believe our experience may not be the norm. It was Veterans Day and my husband and I very much appreciated the free meal. I had reservations for 4:45 for a table of 4. It wasn’t until 20 after 5 we were seated after I noticed about 4 tables of 4 that just arrived were being seated before us. I also saw on the paper that everyone was crossed off above and below my name so I’m not really sure why that happened. Our waitress was as fast as she could possibly be but I think they were under staffed. My food was very oily and our friend was served a glass of beer that was maybe 3/4 full. Again I was greatly appreciative of the free meal and I may try it again on another day if I’m in the area.
Although I have eaten at this restaurant before on other occasions I must say I am very proud to have dinner at such an upscale restaurant that celebrates our Veterans. In addition the staff, food and atmosphere was excellent, great communication skills. The servers stayed on top of our orders from the beginning to the end. Awesome and positive attitudes with the staff and servers. Thank you for the support, great food, friendship, having the Steeler's game on and a wonderful atmosphere. You all our server was extremely polite, communication skills were professional, yet sensitive and she stayed on top of our orders from the beginning to the end. I believe she is one of your top/high performers and one of the reasons for your success, along with the young lady that seated us. Great job to the both of them! ROCK!
Sent this private (below) please to restaurant

Very good atmosphere. Staff is very good. Food is reasonable. Will come back again.
Music was awful , inattentive waitress and scant lobster in shrimp and LOSTER pasta
it took 1.5 hours to have a semi warm entre delivered to us.
Out server was attentive and the food was great. It was my sons birthday and the GM noticed packages and took it upon himself to give him a complimentary birthday cup cake with candle and NO SINGING!!
Thanks for a wonderful evening
McCormick & Schmick is one of our favorite restaurants, because it’s a nice balance. It’s not too formal to go casually. The food is always hot and fresh. The service has always been solid.
I was extremely disappointed. I brought 8 of my family members with me to celebrate my fathers retirement . The service was absolutely terrible!! We were constantly asking each other where our server was . Our glasses were empty, by the time we actually got our food it was cold and the steaks were over cooked . I was here in prior years and it was amazing- unfortunately that is not the case anymore . I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone . For the amount of money we paid , I feel I got robbed !
They have a piano player
Every Friday and Saturday night!!
It was a great time!
Steak cooked properly but lobster was on the rare side. Other dishes were warmed but not hot as you'd expect.
It was a very nice meal. My husband had the dry rub ribeye, which was delicious. I had a Caesar salad, which was outstanding. I had the mixed seafood trio- very nice dish. The fish was cooked perfectly. The green beans as a side were excellent. My only issue was the red pepper mashed potatoes- great idea, bad execution. (They were runny.)
Our server was pleasant. We had a nice table for 2. The other tables were rather close to us, so I would have preferred a booth for more privacy. But it didn’t spoil our meal. The manager was attentive and they did a nice job. We will be back!
The Host was very cordial and the service was well-timed and friendly. The fresh green beans were seasoned perfectly and the orzo with butternut squash was delicious. The mashed potatoes tasted of cheese and pimentos which was very good. The chef pan-seared my flounder after he was told I am allergic to shellfish. What an excellent way to serve customers! Lastly, the bananas foster cream pie, served with sliced bananas separately, was fantastic.
Manager here runs a great restaurant. Runs like a finely oiled machine!
Food was very good, as we enjoyed before. Service was good, but my fork was dirty and I asked for a new one, but our server never brought one. Good thing I didn't need it for the meal. One concern was the men's restroom. The floor was sticky and needed a good cleaning. The restaurant was very clean and well kept.
Amazing food and service!!!
Very good food & service. Price tag high, but knew that going in. Had great time with family celebrating anniversary.
Great place for dinner, staff and location are great!
