The Host was very cordial and the service was well-timed and friendly. The fresh green beans were seasoned perfectly and the orzo with butternut squash was delicious. The mashed potatoes tasted of cheese and pimentos which was very good. The chef pan-seared my flounder after he was told I am allergic to shellfish. What an excellent way to serve customers! Lastly, the bananas foster cream pie, served with sliced bananas separately, was fantastic.
Food was very good, as we enjoyed before. Service was good, but my fork was dirty and I asked for a new one, but our server never brought one. Good thing I didn't need it for the meal. One concern was the men's restroom. The floor was sticky and needed a good cleaning. The restaurant was very clean and well kept.
Amazing food and service!!!
Very good food & service. Price tag high, but knew that going in. Had great time with family celebrating anniversary.
Great place for dinner, staff and location are great!
We always have a wonderful time at this restaurant. Lovely ambiance, great food, reasonable prices.
We really enjoyed the food and service. Molly did a great job!
Lunch portion of the Sea Bass was to small. Also I ordered green beans with my meal and received a bean that came with the meal. Our waitress never informed me that green beans wasn't a option.
Server was excellent. Food was mediocre and way overpriced. Lobster tails were overcooked and rubbery, crab cake was burnt on the bottom. Shrimp was good but still a little overcooked. A glass of domestic beer is $4.75. Two dinners, 2 glasses of domestic beer 1 glass iced tea ..$104 and change! Gave the server $120 and got $15 back. Never got the change. We were very disappointed and wouldn't recommend dining here. Food isn't worth the price.
Awful service at host stand. We had a reservation and checked in on time and was told there would be a wait. Not a problem as we went to the bar for a drink. 2 drinks took 15 mins as there was only 1 bartender on a Saturday night at 7:15. When I checked in with the host regarding our table around 7:40-7:45, we were told that he "could seat us, but we would have to wait for service and food because they were busy." The restaurant was not even filled. Such an u professional thing to say. Server and food were great though.
Everything was amazing! CJ and Paul are awesome and did a wonderful job hosting and serving us while my lab partner and I were in town for a conference.
So very friendly in addition to a great meal..
Overrated ! Best were the oysters. Would’ve been easier to consume with a cocktail fork instead of the dinner fork that was presented. Downhill followed. Raw vegetables with the mahi-mahi. Shrimp Scampi served bland with linguine that was was grossly undercooked. The Lobster pasta vodka sauce that was bland with just a sliver of lobster. We dine out 3-4 times a week. First and last visit.
Small portions and it's pricey. We were given a gift card, so we went and were underwhelmed.
Our server was fantastic. Very friendly and personable, yet she didn’t interrupt any conversation. Restaurant was surprisingly quiet for a Friday night, but the food was out of this world!! Will definitely be back again!
Sorry guys, the quality if the food seems to have really gone down hill. It was Feiday night and the place was empty. Thay should have told us everything we needed to know.
Food was overdone
Perfect delicious server ambience no complaints. It was a perfect experience
Great service and food and planning to visit the restaurant again.
Great food and service!
Love this location and Chris, the manager was wonderful!
This place went from being good to poor over the last year. We had a fairly large party but we were seated 45 minutes later than our reservation. Then waited for 20 minutes before our drink orders were taken. The whole evening went that way. The food they served was not bad but almost all of it was at best warm. The place was empty but they did of a party of 50 in the back but they claimed that was why we were seat late. Not a good experience.
We had a wonderful time with a very attentive staff and manager. We ordered steamed oysters and mushrooms stuffed with crab as appetizers with a kale and arugula salad. Excellent flounder and Alaskan King crab for dinner.
Excellent. We love the special treatment we receive from Chris, the manager, and the servers. Everyone is so friendly and wants diners to have a good experience. This is a jewel of a restaurant, and I recommend it to friends all of the time. Our out of town company always rates a trip to this establishment.
Kudos to all. You are all 5 stars in my book!
We had a reservation for a birthday dinner. On arrival, we were given a menu that said happy birthday -and ordered from it. Fifteen minutes later we were told it was yesterday’s menu and one of the specials I had ordered -a halibut dish- was not available. I was given the correct menu and ordered one of the actual specials of the day. Forty minutes later, our meals arrived. The manager delivered my Mahi Mahi. I had not ordered Mahi Mahi. I was told that they ran out of the special, so they substituted this meal?
She offered to bring me a menu and order again but at that point I was frustrated. So I kept it. Mistake.
The fish was dry, the sauce was bland and the vegetable was over cooked.
The restaurant seemed to have only two severs and a manager. The service was not at all the level we were used to at this restaurant. We did get a free birthday dessert, which was delicious.
We have frequented this restaurant over the years, but after today’s visit, it will be hard to come back.
we had a nice time got there at happy hour but was not in bar they let us order off of both menu will go back for the dinner menu only will do a open table next week
A friend recommended this place and we had an awesome experience! Outstanding food...
The restaurant has a nice ambiance, we were seated promptly and the service was impeccable. Andrew our server was polite, prompt and attentive to our needs. Excellent from beginning to end. 5 Stars
Although it was a Saturday night, the restaurant was very slow but yet the service was horrible. The service improved to OK after we spoke with the manager, who apologized and took care of our entrees, which was a very nice touch. However, overall, we had a very bad experience at a high end restaurant. Disappointing because the food quality is very good, and the location is terrific.
Service somewhat slow
Minor mistakes on the check
Overall a very good experience
Also great desserts
Great waiter and great recommendations
Raspberry mule drink excellent. Best part of food we got. Food very oily or buttery - too much so, detracted from taste. Salad very good. Crab cakes and sides tasted like they’d been prepared earlier in day and just reheated. Husband’s swordfish was small portion and just ok, sides same as mine, like they’d been sitting there. Nice atmosphere though pretty empty for Friday night. Expensive for 2 alcoholic drinks, 2 apps (1 soup, 1 salad), 2 entrees (crab cakes; swordfish) $122
Food was very good as well as atmosphere. The waiter could have been more attentive and also forgot my bisque but was good.
Waitress was fabulous and knowledgeable about the food and wine.
Food was great, except I expected crab cakes made with jumbo lump.... and it was more shredded crab.
So that was disappointing, but food overall excellent
Another great dining experience. Thank you, Chris, for your exceptional demeanor. You welcome us by name each time we dine and do so much to make our evening a great experience.
Also, kudos to Rex, our server. He is a gem and a genuinely sweet and kind young man. He does an excellent job.
Already looking forward to returning.
Excellent dinner! Out of this world New England Clam Chowder!
Place was empty!
