My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary. Both the food and service were excellent. Highly recommend!
Apparently no longer accepting the Landry card: the reason I bought the card is so that I could dine at this restaurant.
Was NOT informed of this until AFTER the meal.
Waiter was outstanding
Food excellent. Confused that listed as member of rewards program, had card out and waitress recognized it, but was only told restaurant non participating when went to pay bill. Would have gone to Grand Concourse instead. Felt mislead
Me and a friend went to the Southside location for Restaurant Week. Very disappointed. One of the selections was braised short ribs. Ribs being plural but I only got one. The Beef Carpaccio appetizer was like 3 bites. The dessert was so small we could have eaten three of them. 2 minutes after they brought our appetizer they brought our entree. We will not return to McCormick and Schmick. This is an upscale restaurant with no food on the plate. And what food we did get wasn't that great
Our waitress was pleasant enough, but wasn't very knowledgable about items on the menu that we had questions about. There weren't a lot of people there for lunch when we were there, but the service was pretty slow. We were there about 1 1/2 hours just for lunch. The food was really good (a little pricey), but good! The dessert we shared was outstanding (chocolate bag).
Attentive staff, meals well prepared and presented. Very nice casual atmosphere.
Went for happy hour. Bartender was friendly. The food was good and quick. I wish they would add something like a fried cod sandwich. I enjoyed the fish tacos but I want another fish option. Will return.
Very good food and a nice Happy Hour. They accommodated my seating request made with OpenTable reservation.
I am not able to rate the menu, prices, or food. We were seated at a table with a glass of water half filled and lip marks on it and a used fork. We waited 10 minutes for a waiter to question the situation but nobody arrived so we left. It was very dark and uncomfortable in there anyways. We went to Cheesecake Factory instead because it was close and I was very impresed.
I have been to McCormick & Schmick's for lunch and happy hour before but this was the first for dinner. So I know it's a bit on the pricey side, especially for a chain restaurant. My food was good - but really not worth the price. I ordered scallops with pork belly. For $32, I had 3 scallops. Three. And not large scallops. And the pork belly was miniscule. There were supposed to be oyster mushrooms too. I think if you put all the tiny pieces together I may have had half a mushroom total in the entire dish. My salad was average. Conversely, my husband just had fish and chips, and he said they were great. But it was also $20 for fish and French fries.... Although the food wasn't bad, it wasn't worth the price. And service was slow.
Only thing that kept me from giving a higher rating was service. Our waiter was very slow with bringing everything to our table.
We went New Year’s Eve with a party of six. We were seated in the back dining room which we loved. The food and service were perfect!
Ran out of Daquari Mix early. Food was cooked just right!!.
Outstanding service and great food beautifully prepared. One of our favorite Pgh spots.
Food was outstanding and so was the service. Would recommend the NY strip was excellent Wife had the salmon stuffed with shrimp and crabmeat also excellent
They were open on Christmas day and the service and food was awesome, can't wait to return!
Very good food and so happy something was open on Christmas. I had filet and lobster and it was fantastic.
There seemed to be a very inexperienced staff. They just couldn’t get their act together. Paying the check was just laborious.
Pleased with the meal, but disappointed that it is no longer part of the Landry’s restaurants. I wasn’t able to use my Landry’s card. Big bummer.
Everything was good but the hostess and server (Melinda). We arrived promptly at 2 P.M. our reservation time on Christmas Day. The hostess hurried us to our seats. She did not wait for us to take off our coats before just laying down the menu rather than HANDING the menu to us. The server laid down our check BEFORE asking us if we wanted dessert or coffee saying "no rush". Well it sure felt like we were being rushed. She did not ask how our meals were. My mom, who is elderly had cold potatoes. She never asked if we wanted any more to drink or refills on drinks. Melinda then cleans off the table, pacing back and forth all the while we were sitting there enjoying the atmosphere. All said and done from the time we arrived to the time we left was LESS THAN ONE HOUR! NO RUSH Melinda...Really? Couldn't wait to see how much your tip was? Then on to the next reservation! For the upscale reputation, fine dining experience, the hostess and server were poorly trained and certainly not appropriate for this type of dining experience.
Truly wonderful service and tasty menu. I highly recommend for holidays, we were there on Christmas Day and the service was wonderful.
We went on Christmas Eve and glad that we got there at 6, before it got crowded. We had a great meal and wonderful server, Courtney. The seafood and desserts were delicious!
Great food but expect to pay top dollar for meal. Has the best Lot buster Bisque around.
This restaurant hasnt changed much over time. Menu is limited and prices are on the high side. Service is poor and it looks like they churn a lot of staff. For the money you can do much better in food and service.
This facility is advertised as being a McCormick and Schmick's, and displays the corporate signage, but on presentation of my rewards card at checkout, I was advised that "we are locally owned now and do not participate in the rewards program".
It seems to me that you are either McCormick and Schmick's or not! As a minimum, they should tell the customer these facts when one makes a reservation....not at checkout.
We always come here for special occasions because of the ambiance, excellent food and service.
I reserved a table via iPhone, we were seated rite away, however, we did not see a server for at least 10 minutes after being seated. When the manager Chris realized there was a mix up in seating, he was very accommodating. Our server Amanda was very good and very sweet.
I ordered a filet to be done medium-well, when it arrived it was clearly very rare. I sent it back and when it came back to me, it was the same steak cut into pieces, and was CLEARLY VERY WELL DONE and difficult to chew, the manager Chris delivered it himself. At 36.00 a plate it was a disappointment. Chris was very apologetic and took the dinner off of the bill, however date night was ruined.
The young lady that waited on us was great. The bartender needed some work. The food was outstanding. The only issue is that this is no longer a Landry owned property. So I can't see comeing as often as we use to.sad..
When compared to state store prices wine was way overpriced for the brand's offered. Understand margin is necessary for the business however exorbitant markup will negatively impact decision to dine there again.
This was an office Christmas Party and the staff selected this venue. To say all enjoyed the service, food, ambiance would be an understatement. There were 10 of in attendance. The staff could not have been more attentive or friendly. This is the first party in 4 years (all at different venues) where there were no complaints about drinks, food, or service.
