Made areservations online and even called in to verify and make a special request for 2nd floor seating for my mothers birthday. Upon arrival, the host could not verify our reservations nor special requests. So we ended up having seating on the first floor at a table covered in crumbs from the previous guest. I also had to sneak off and make my waiter aware that we were there for a birthday and request a candle to come able with desert for my mother since they could not find my information. However, The food was amazing and we had no complaints about our server.
Ate upstairs in private booths, wonderful to catch up with friends & as always food was delicious
This is not my first time visiting this restaurant, however it was the best experience that I have had. The food was excellent and hot, the waiter was pleasant and attentive and it could have been the time of day but the atmosphere was pleasant and peaceful even though other customers were present. I enjoyed myself so much that I intend to bring another group soon.
As a solo diner I was seated appropriately and well looked after.
Food was delicious. Service was fantastic. Brittany was our server and she was helpful, friendly and perfectly attentive.
We traveled from NJ to celebrate by husband’s birthday. The food was fabulous!!! Our server, Dantay, was great ... friendly and helpful. We were never rushed and spent two wonderful hours enjoying our meal and each other’s company. The only downside was the fact that parking fees are exorbitant ... $24 plus $5 tip ... add that to the $5 bridge toll and that’s almost the cost of another entree or at the very least, another round of cocktails. We people from NJ are not used to those parking fees.
Terrific experience tonight. Mason was an excellent server. Good pace of the meal....A+
It is always consistent and never disappoints.
It was fantastic our server Daniella was great hands on and made sure we were taken care of. The food was great I had the salmon and it was done perfectly, my sister had the scallops and said they also were done to perfection. Will definitely return
Family reunion.... Made a resv for 630. Got there at 635. and after checking in they said it would be 25-30 min to sit down because people were still eating .. This was so outrageous.. We decided to go to the bar to eat. Waited to get service for quite some time .. put order in got app then waited approx 45 min for the dinner.. we didn’t leave restaurant till 855!!! Don’t know what the issue was but it wasn’t a good experience. Very disappointed!!!
Good value. Good service. Maybe a little noisy for some. Good food. Clean restroom.
Had the best time and our server was incredible!!! They made our celebration extra special
Food wasn’t great and my steak was cold and the sauce that comes on was left off.
We were not checked on and waiter was not interested in serving my opinion. We will not visit again.
Had a booth. Service and food was great!
The rating is in relation to the expectation. This is a high-end restaurant and therefore expected high-end in all rating categories. A breakdown of the ratings: service - 2 star. Took 10 minutes before we're asked if anybody has taken our drink order. 5 minutes later a young, very polite, inexperienced waiter takes our drink order. 10 minutes later he shows up with our drinks. Off to a very bad start, don't you think. We noted on the reservation that this was a birthday celebration. The menu acknowledged it which was a nice touch. Shrimp cocktail was served promptly. Dinner was a bit delayed and my granddaughter's caesar salad was served with the entrees. To top it off, the waiter didn't come back to check on our meal and if we needed another drink until we were nearly done the meal. Mind you the restaurant was not crowded. McCormick & Schmicks need to do a better job training their junior wait staff.
Food was good. I had the sea scallops and granddaughter had the stuffed salmon. They were both very good. For the sea scallops they could have added a sauce over the scallops to enhance the taste. Granddaughter loved the stuffed salmon.
Ambiance was very nice and the noise level was quiet which were expected.
A final point about the service - my 12 yo grandaughter commented about the service being slow and disjointed. Image that, a 12 yo making that observation. She made the comment in relation to her 18 yo cousin who just started a server job at a high-end restaurant. She saw the similarities in the quality of service. Again, we don't blame the server, this is on the McC& S training program.
Dinner with partners was awesome. No wait time and the overall atmosphere was stunning
My wife and I enjoyed our recent visit! Our server was very friendly and attentive. Dinner was amazing from the Ahi Tuna and lobster bisque up to our dinner entrees. Thanks for a wonderful dining experience!
Only issue was delay for get us a table when we had a reservation made.
Waiter was nice and polite. Forgot to bring out the soup i ordered and i had to have it removed from the bill.
I asked for my steak medium rare and it was served more well than i typically eat it. but it was good none the less.
definately appreciated the private setting upstairs
Great food. Russell provided fantastic service. Very attentive and helpful. Quiet atmosphere was perfect for our romantic date.
Great experience and great service
Food was overall good, scallops cooked perfectly. But I found everything to be blend, wish it had been seasoned properly. Not a big deal as I can add salt and pepper myself but still wish it had some during the cooking process. Salmon was a little over done and dry. Drinks were tasty and not overly strong. Calamari was very nice, tender meat but crispy outside. Not chewy.
Very nice dinner, cocktails and service. Little on the dim side but that’s alright. Special requested flowers on the table as available on the app, but sadly no flowers. Eh not the end of the world. I would highly recommend and will have dinner again at the restaurant.
Our waitress/server Christina was awesome in A+ plus for her experience and the way she made us feel comfortable and attention to detail
Might as well go to Applebee’s. Overpriced OK food
There was an hour wait, the dishes were not clean,
Nice place really waitress maybe had to many tables.
The table was dirty I had ask for the server to clean the table. The breading from the calamari was falling off when I was trying to pick it and the breading stayed in the small Sauce container. Had to send the steak back because I have ask for medium well and when I cut into the steak it was bleeding on my plate. The only things that was great was our server Mayson he was always checking on us and asking if we need anything thank you Mayson for taking care of us
Surviving on their name. Got a great seafood tower appetizer and had high hopes. Drinks took 15+ minutes to come out more than once. Steaks came, no steak knives. Mine was cold after just receiving it and trying to cut it with a bread knife. Table was formerly sat at by a family, and there was several crayons, napkins and an abundance of crumbs under the table. Overall thought it was an over priced waste. Been to the one in Chicago, Far superior
Date night with my kids
We were there for Valentine's Day, even though it was busy the service was timely and efficient.
Our waiter, Joseph, was excellent and the food and presentation was exceptional.
Definitely a five star evening for us!
The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. I will definitely go back especially as a date night because they made the date all the more special with there awevive and their food.
We had a wonderful time for our Valentine's dinner. The thing that impressed my wife and I the most was our waitress Christina, and the manager Jenna upon arriving.
Food was horrible not worth the price
They forgot our appetizer and bread bowl. The meal was underwhelming. The drinks were not great either. Maybe time to retire this chain.
we started by being seated at a dirty table. when we alerted a server we were moved. once moved, the service was terrible. Our server told us we would get bread but forgot. we asked a manager passing by for bread. He brought the bread but no plates. When he came back with plates, he only brought 3 so we were one short! Our food came before our oysters. we told them to take them off the check. when we got the check, they were still on the bill, my sons lemonade ( which came with his meal) was billed. The whole experience was awful. we will never go back.
Order 2simple dishes Stuffed salmon and the chef special which was a mix of seafood over pasta Waited an hour and 25 minutes for cold food and s**t service ! WASTE of TIME & Money!
The manger is a joke After bringing me my check and it being adjusted he comes back with the cold food and my card 10 minutes later and asked me if I’m sure I don’t want it or if I like to take it with me, The pasta was like rubber it was sitting so long it literally had more bounce then the Super Bowl halftime show and the sea food was cold as ice!!!!
WILL NOT RETURN !!
Excellent location. Easy to reserve. Close to before and after activities. Celebrated our Anniversary dinner here.
