Service was very slow and they were out of a lot of items.
45 minutes from server intro to first food delivered.
Beer order wrong.
Oyster app order delivered as main entry.
Getting bill paid not timely.
It took 3.5 hours to eat. Manger said kitchen was behind because it was busy. To me it was Saturday night and he would expect to be busy and plan for it. Waiter disappeared for long intervals. We spent a lot of time waiting with no answers. Food was overpriced but I would have enjoyed my sea bass if I wasn’t so angry about everything else. Basically we didn’t get what we expected from this restaurant. Too many good restaurants in Philadelphia to return to this one.
Restaurant was not busy with plenty tables open. Service extremely slow and food was undercooked. Never again.
Angel was the most knowledgeable and friendly server! He accurately suggested menu items and was attentive to our needs. He even suggested where to go after dinner for our night out!
Enjoy the whole experience. Plans to return soon.
Our server Dante was great. I will request his section anytime I go back.
I had the ribeye with mashed potatoes and asparagus. My better half had fettuccine with spicy chicken. Both were excellent. Server was friendly and knowledgeable. All in all great.
Over rated. Order twin lobster tails very small almost size of 2 extra large/jumbo shrimp.
The water was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The sea bass was excellent
The service was the worst. 10 minutes to be acknowledged. No server around. We finally flagged another server from across the restaurant. 30 minutes later food arrived cold. Server NEVER checked on us. The restaurant was nearly empty. Pen to pay bill with exploded with ink all over it would not go back.
Food and menu selections great. Very nice wine list all at reasonable prices. Service was good , but poor guy was assigned toooooo many other tables and stretched too thin.
To start, our waiter left without submitting our order. Left. The. building. We were told he was fired but you can imagine the chaos being down a server at the dinner rush. I never got my side and was overall unimpressed with the food. Honestly, I remember when M&S 1st came to Philly. It’s the not the same restaurant & this visit felt like an overpriced chain.
Spectacular location across from City Hall. Gorgeous space with high ceilings, dark wood, and an excellent menu. My husband says he had one of the top five steaks of all time.
Service was excellent and the wine list was nice. I suggest the filets and a side of mushrooms. Fantastic.
Great meal! Delicious food- great service. Celebrated my daughter’s birthdays . Great raspberry mule
We were a party of 4 with reservations on a crowded Saturday evening. Although the food and service were good, we found the prices very high and the atmosphere cramped. We are out of towners, just visiting for the Flower Show, and would probably not return to this restaurant on a future visit.
Our group was 5. One steak was not done as requested. Rest of group was satisfied with their meals. Overall it's a convenient place that we've been to several times before, so we know what to expect. Consistent and predictable. Wine by the glass is overpriced even for a higher end place. When you can purchase a bottle of Kendall Jackson Chardonay at the State Store for less than the price of a glass (and a very stingy pour at that) then it's overpriced. Also, if you're hungry I don't recommend the scallops. You get 6 that can vary by size. If they're on the small side that particular evening you may not be satisfied.
This place was awesome . It was the first time visiting this location. Our waiter Orlando was great.
The waiter set the tone. Friendly and informative and the food came and was wonderful. We were not rushed. Toward the end of the meal the general manager came over and spoke with us. All in all a wonderful experience.
Food was amazing. Server forgot about us for quite some tome. I had to go back to the Podium to ask them to send him over. Once he got there his service was excellent
Our wait staff, Alexander, was great: knowledgeable about the menu and drinks, friendly but not overly so, attentive. Our food selections, seafood trio and salmon with the garlic, were fresh, cooked to our satisfaction.
Steak was overcooked. Side dish with potatoes and brussel sprouts had little or no potatoes.
The wait staff was amazing and attentive, the food was delicious! We had a wonderful time!
Service was extremely slow. Lobster bisque was a good bisque. Lobster was missing.
Steak was not done as requested... Margarita was undrinkable, made by an inexperienced bartender, food was cold.... horrible experience
Undercooked salmon and bland potatoes hardly warranted the $$ pricetag. Such a disappointment! Never left a restaurant feeling like I shouldn’t have paid for the meal. It was down-right gross.
A lovely evening for our 5th Anniversary. Fantastic meal, perfect martinis, and our server Natalie was simply delightful with a wonderful personality. Thanks for everything!
Enjoyed a work lunch on a nice day in Center City Philadelphia. Nice menu selections. Waiter Tyler very personable, patient and knowledge of menu selections. Great service from Tyler. Tasty salads and soups. Gluten free menu available which is always a plus!
Sea bass was cold, the 33.00 swordfish was good flavor but the smallest piece of seafood I have experienced. Service was horribly slow
I would have given the service a 5 if it weren’t for one of the hostesses complaining that they close in an hour behind me while I was waiting for my boyfriend to park as if I couldn’t hear her. Other than that, my waiter was amazing and accommodating and it was a nice romantic environment for my Boyfriend and I. Food was top notch and I would definitely return.
The service was AWESOME! But the food left a lot to be desired.
Wonderful Ambiance - Great Table - Impeccable service - Delicious dinner especially the dessert - chocolate bag filled with whipped cream and berries. Pear Martini also fabulous
Food was good but nothing spectacular. My drink - Ruby something - different and refreshing. I recommend it if you like grapefruit. Filet mignon on was good, but I’ve had better. Wasn’t unhappy at all, but could have been better.
My wife and I celebrated Valentines Day weekend here the service and food was great had a great evening !!!
The staff is very courteous. The food was delicious and service was excellent. I was impressed that Dan the manager came to our table and asked if everything was all right. Very nice young man.
The food tasted good but lacked presentation, felt rushed and very very small portion. It was just ok. We will not go back.
My husband took me there for my birthday weekend dinner. I have dinner out for three days during birthday weekend and this restaurant is my ultimate favorite!!!! The service, food and ambiance is wonderful.
Tried several cocktails and all were overly sweet. Chowder was very good but all of our entrees were just eh and not worth the high price. Will not return by choice
Overall experience was great, good customer service, food was tasty, prices per entree were expected however not as deserving in my opinion
