It took us 15-20 min to get service and it was not even very crowded on a Sunday night. We only got checked on throughout our meal twice; everything felt very rushed and for the price I expected greater service.
We had a nice dinner for our son's 18th, however no mention even after putting it on the reservation. Some of the dishes were salty.
A couple of things to note from a philly foodie:
The food was okay - not to the standard of a Butcher & Singer or Capital Grille I'm afraid. The steak was poorly seasoned, lobster tails dry and a bit overcooked. They do too much with the calamari, it's more like a weird tempora than a typical high-end calamari. Fried carrots, jalapenos, and peppers don't really mix well IMO. The chef should rethink that choice.
Service was fantastic and the overall ambiance was decent. For what we spent we're not likely to return - the food just didn't meet the standard of a $300 dinner for two. I like high-end dining. Our experience was closer to a Longhorn than a 5-star restaurant.
I enjoyed the seafood but husband was disappointed with the steak.
Too many small kids in dining room made for a loud environment
Food, drink, service all on point!!!! I recommend this for anyone who loves a nice seafood dish
Very nice place and food was good
Tasty food. MS Long Island. Not great. Nice waiter. Coffee was cold. That was a disappointment
Salmon was a bit salty. Everything else was to our satisfaction.
Our experience was wonderful thanks to our waiter
Say at the bar. Had vodka grapefruit. Made w fresh juice. Awesome. Cesar salad w grilled salmon on top. Awesome. House made dressing. Awesome. Pretty environment. Only down side is price. But heck you get what you pay for.
Food was well over priced for the quality. The filet and the ribeye were okay, although they should have offered a steak sauce (i.e. peppercorn, garlic butter) for such a large cut, but the lobster was overcooked, hard and rubbery. The mixed vegetables were 5 pieces of carrots and assorted veggies, and the food presentation was terrible. The only thing that made up for the evening was the ambiance, the look of the restaurant and the service.
While the service was top notch and the ambiance was what I expected, the food left a lot to be desired. Dry and bland to say the least. This is the second time I experienced this. The first time, I figured the chef had an off night. Two strikes. M&S...what happened? You used to be so good.
Food is always good and service is always excellent
This was me and my boyfriend’s FIRST time at this restaurant and we were extremely pleased with EVERYTHING....THANK YOU 😊
Excellent service great birthday experience for my wife will return real soon
Good food, great service!
Our waiter was very good. My problem was with the Seabass. It was under cooked and very chewy. Usually a nice flake in the meat is desired. From the looks if the table across from us they were having the same issue and food was returned and they gave the young lady a new dish but we didn't have time for a new dish. Unfortunate, but the creme brulee was outstanding.
Recieved multiple undercooked fish and vegetable dishes. Did not receive any compensation or meaningful apology.
Our entire experience at this restaurant was fabulous!! From Joe our waiter to the exemplary cuisine served was an endeavywe won’t forget!!!
I have been to McCormick and Shmicks in Atlantic City and our experience was amazing so when deciding to take my husband and friends for his birthday it was not up to par. Every soda was flat, the glasses had to be changed because they were dirty, the food was less then room temperature when it was served. Our waiter did the best he could nevertheless it was not up to what I have experienced at other places. We had no plates for bread and had to wait to get water everytime.
Good had good time
Food was cold and overcooked. Service was good not great. Prices too high for quality of food.
Mediocre food, mediocre service, small portions. Definitely not worth the price.
The food and ambiance were quite good and our server, Ciana, was the BEST!
A wonderful experience, we were very pleased with our visit, with one exception: My girlfriend had requested a special dessert to be brought to the table for my birthday and the server was unaware of the plan. Apparently there was a disconnect so we just ordered our dessert.
We enjoyed good service and delicious food in an attractive environment. The menu contained a number of fresh fish selections as well as numerous beef and chicken dishes.
Great! The service was good, ands the drink.
When you order a 6 ounce filet that comes out just 4 ounces and half is gristle and not edible, and the manager ask how was it and ignores the response - extremely disappointing and a one time trip to this restaurant.
Food was very good and the service was great! Look forward to going back.
Outstanding food and service. I will definitely be re-visiting this restaurant.
Birthday dinner was great and showed the birthday attendee great value, will def come back to spend my money
Loved the waitress
Not worth the money. Food didn’t come out hot it was warm.
Our waitress was very friendly and helpful throughout dinner, culminating with a special birthday treat for my wife. The food was excellent and we enjoyed our entire experience!
Great place all around. Very great staff
The restaurant overall was great. The food was delicious. The waitress was very nice but she took forever to bring us our drinks. We had to ask for our bread and she took a long time to bring that to us also. The food took forever to come out. The food was delicious so that kind of made up for the slow service.
We were in and out in an hour, we had the restaurant week 3 courses. I felt as if we were not having the restaurant week special, they wouldn’t have rushed us so much. I had to ask for more coffee after she she brought the check because she didn’t ask us if we wanted anything else.
The service was very good. Our server was attentive and on point. The food was okay. The food temperature was not good The shrimp was not hot, actually it was room temperature as if it was sitting out. The salad was good and the entree was okay. The beef I was served did not have the sauce on it like my husbands. A little disappointed with the food. Overall it was an okay experience.
Quick Service during Restaurant week! Good menu choices
