We enjoyed a lovely early dinner. Our server, John was very attentive and personable. He even facilitated a special request with ease. A great experience!
Pricy for serving size. Portions very small. Very adequate service. Great desert menu. Good beverage selection. Loved the unique non alcohol selection.
Service was inattentive and food was not hot, and not even warm- room temp.
We have eaten at other branches. The food was not what we expected. However, our server was excellent.
Food was good quality but not prepared with restrained balance of flavors. E,g. the striped bass was overwhelmed by the sausage that accompanied it. Wine was overpriced. Service, location atmosphere were superb.
Excellent service and delicious food. I love the fact the waitress was very knowledgable of the menu, her expertise caused us to change what we were originally ordering. High Five M&S!!
Everything was great in advance of our first time at the Pops.
The food is always amazing there. Unfortunately our dining space was not the best... the linens had stains on them. Small issue, but makes a big difference when having a business lunch there
I was at McCormick and Schmick to celebrate my birthday. I ordered blackened halibut with roasted vegetables. The surprising small serving of halibut was cooked well, but their blackened version lacked flavor. The roasted vegetables had several burnt vegetables that could not even be cut (see the photo). I requested another serving of roasted vegetables, which appeared fine. However, all of the carrots were actually raw. They were not even partially roasted; they merely were heated! As a Landry’s member, I was very disappointed. I even showed the extremely burnt, hard as a rock carrots to a manager, who replied that he would tell the kitchen staff to be more attentive when roasting vegetables!
Natalie was an excellent server and made my daughter's birthday celebration very special! We will certainly be back!
A lovely evening: the food and service was excellent!
For the price you get very small amounts of food, just needs more what I'm spending.
One of our favorite restaurants. The food is a absolutely delicious. The server was wonderful. We eat there very often.
I’m a former restaurant server. Drinks at the bar relaxing. We had an early reservation on a Friday night so it wasn’t crowded however we found dirty dishes and food on the floor in the dining room, Maybe they had a busy lunch & hadn’t had the chance to clean up. Service was very good, appetizers were pretty good. Our meal of the scallops had to be sent back because the scallops had been overcooked. Given the price we weren’t about to settle. They replaced it with a new meal cooked properly and comped one of the desserts due to that. A fire alarm went off when we received our appetizers. Servers told us there was a small fire on the 23rd floor but there was no need for us to leave the building however the fire alarm would ring until they were able to turn it off which lasted into our meal. Sea bass was very good as well as desserts. Overall it was OK but given the price it should’ve been better.
Food was delicious. Our server, Shirelle, was terrific. We would highly recommend this restaurant.
The occasion was my wife’s birthday dinner. Part of our party of eight arrived at 8 PM and was seated in the bar area because the table was not ready. They and the rest of the party were still in the bar area at 8:37 when further inquiry was made of the host. We were informed that the table had been taken down, and had to be reset. When we were finally seated our server, Dontay, appeared after several minutes delay and rushed us through ordering our entrées, because the kitchen was allegedly closing at 9 PM. He neglected to take drink orders and missed about half the table’s appetizer requests, so that we had to call him back several times. We had ordered extra dressing for our wedge salads, but none was provided. Also, we asked for ranch dressing on one of the salads, and it came with bleu cheese. No bread was provided for the table. When making the reservation, I had requested a special “Happy Birthday” menu for my wife, as she had done for me, but none was provided. For some reason my son’s soup spoon was collected before he was finished his bisque. Waters were never refilled and whether we wanted dessert was not asked (I had wanted a small dessert with a candle for my wife). Overall, a disappointing experience on a special occasion.
Small 70th birthday dinner. Food was delicious. Service was great. Atmosphere was nice. Can’t wait to return to try other tasty dishes other family members raves about.
This place is definitely overrated. Maybe because the area it is in. Too small, way too small. The food isn't that good either. The salmon was super bland. Literally no seasoning. The mashed potatoes were lumpy, and aspirigus was too soft. Not only was the food trash, but there wasn't many options to chose from. From the appetizers to the actual meal. McCormick and Smchicks dosent have an elite menu. Also, for them to be so underrated...the prices are way too hugh for such small portions. I kinda felt as if I was being robbed.
one of my lobster tails was inedible . I should have complained but that is difficult for me
Always a delicious meal. One of our favorites! The food was absolutely fantastic. Our server was wonderful. Will definitely return!
Went to M&S for my anniversary. For the appetizer we ordered the calamari. Calamari was fried hard and for some reason there were French fries in the mixture. When i told the host he seemed confused, but after I told him the obvious that I did not bring French fries into the restaurant he took it back to his manager. Since we have been waiting for a while and had tickets to a show in the area I did not request another order.
My wife ordered the ultimate seafood platter which was great. I ordered the steak which taste like a steak from a diner. My wife asked why I order a steak at a seafood restaurant which I did not have a good answer to.
All in all, wife was happy I left with the impression that i just paid $300 for a meal at a diner. Calamari with fries in it and a terrible steak.
Very good; enjoyed the food; did not take a long time even though they were busy
I keep trying McCormick and Schmick’s around the country, and their food is just bad!
The food was outstanding in quality. Our server Joseph was extremely personable and friendly. My only concern was with the size of the portions. Our bill was >$200 and neither of us felt fully satisfied. Would definitely go back again and try different menu options.
We took a few of our friends there for my fiancé’s birthday. I called ahead to make arrangements. Not only were they able to keep the surprise but they personalized our menu, knew exactly who the birthday boy was and brought him out his own dessert. Food was great, excellent service. Definitely recommend this place!
Yes and no. The lump crab cake was excellent. The calamari was fishy, had to send it back. Waiter was not on task. Reservation was for 1:30pm and the place was empty. I would go back for crab cake but I would probably get it to go.
Waitress was delightful. Good selection. It’s a chain but very personal service and please experience.
Great food at reasonable prices. We loved it. The food was right on time, and delicious.
To celebrate my daughter’s 13th birthday, we started with dinner at McCormick and Schmick’s which was excellent. Our table was waiting and our waiter Tom was very attentive and timely. We will definitely return.
It was a nice ambiance and the food was excellent. Along with great service, it was very enjoyable.
The appetizers taste very good and did not fill you to the point you could not enjoy your meal. Drinks served the purpose without feeling like a happy hour.
Dante was our server and was SPECTACULAR!! Knowledgeable , great personality, efficient. Everything you expect
I really enjoyed my dinner at McCormick & Schmick's everything was awesome. The waiter was really helpful and friendly.
Everything was excellent, our waiter offered nice suggestions. Nice experience for downtown.
I got the ribeye steak-center cut, medium rare which was excellent! We ordered asparagus and mushroom/spinach as our sides, which were also great, but a bit small in size. I was very pleased with the service and ambience - We were seated at a table on the second floor, which gave us privacy and an awesome view of the entire ground floor of the restaurant. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!
My fish cabio was over-cooked. The chef's recommendation of swordfish was served as it was meant to be served, almost raw. However, we could have been warned about that. I have had it before, and it was not served like that.
Joe our waiter was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Met our expectations. Will definitely go back.
This is my second time at this restaurant and the food was amazingly delicious. I would come again.
Our server, Rachel was outstanding. The swordfish was prepared well but the chilean Seabass was very small for the high price tag. Our second time there and we will be back when we visit Philadelphia again.
It was outstanding and completely satisfying
