Everything was delicious, service was spectacular but I never give five stars If I would this will be one place I'd do.
Everything was great the price how ever was misrepresented meals were 82 dollars and down
The siting in the restaurant is very relaxing and cozy. The food and service was excellent. I really enjoyed the New Strip Steak and Lobster Mashed Potatoes. My husband enjoy the Lobster tails and the Filet Migon.
Food was outstanding. Server was friendly and professional. We had a nice table overlooking the pond.
My wife and I enjoyed our evening. Even though they were behind on the reservation, they kept communicating when we would be seated next and kept apologizing.
We waited over 25 minutes for a table despite our reservation & there were a number of open tables. Service was a bit slow so perhaps they were short-staffed.
The minute we walked in, we were greeted with a friendly smile and helpful information. The staff is young but very courteous and professional. Our food was fantastic and so delicious.
We'll be back for another great seafood dining experience.
Service was slow. We had the halibut special and it was fantastic.
The food and service were great. It was a little cold in the restaurant with the AC on.
Ian is superb. We loved his attention to detail. He made our date night very memorable. The food was very delicious and steak temperature was perfect. Saved room for desert. Again the chocolate bag with berries was awesome. Will be back soon.
Excellent place for a celebration. The seafood is delicious and fresh. The best Oysters Rockefeller I have ever had! The steaks were cooked to perfection. We will definitely visit again.
I was actually looking forward to coming here to celebrate my Birthday. What a disappointment from the drinks to the food to the service! Would never go back. Enough said.
Ian is a very good waiter
He’s very knowledgeable about the menu
He’s very personable and good with his customers
Very eager to please his timing is excellent
I request him every time I come in
He goes out of his way to accommodate his customers
He always smiles very energetic and is on top of his game
He’s a very hard worker and is to be commended
Service was great. Food was great. Overall great experience. A little pricey but was amazing
Food was mostly good, though stir fried veggies were oily. Our server, however, was disappointing. He kept pushing us to order more things than we wanted. He asked about appetizers, we said we weren’t ready to order. He came back twice after we said no to appetizers, finally getting us to get one “for the table. Someone asked for a cup of soup, he suggested a bowl. Also pushed for ordering more wine. The larger the bill, of course, presumably the larger the tip. We prefer suggestions made to enhance the dining experience, not the server’s tip.
This location has seen better days. The decor is a little tired and the restaurant was more than half empty on a nice Friday evening. They were woefully understaffed and the staff in attendance was generally inexperienced. The GM was staffing the bar, and the first $12 cocktail (when it finally came) tasted very different from the second (same drink ordered). The server was not knowledgeable about the dinner or drink menu. They were inexplicably "out" of one of the most popular of the four scotches listed on the menu. The server missed part of our order, and service was verrrrryyy slow all around. Value and experience does merit the high price tag. Doubtful if we will return. Too bad, because there are a dearth of seafood establishments in the area.
Great place and well kept secret! Nancy was terrific; attentive, but not pushy. We originally were going to sit on the patio but due to an event, we ended up dining in the bar and there were no regrets. We will definitely be back!
6:30pm reservations seated immediately. Restaurant was empty. NO host/hostesses. Greeted by gentleman could’ve been the bartender? Sat outside on the patio. Nice ambiance, chillier evening fire pit was on. Felt rushed throughout dinner. Good food & service. Celebrated wife’s Bday! The table next to us the woman was treated to a Bday dessert but nothing for my wife. My understanding that this McCormick restaurant location was sold off from Landry’s group.
Our waiter Ian was superb & very attentive. The food and drinks were awesome! This was my first visit to the restaurant, but it will not be my last.
We went for lunch. Not very many people there. They were out of 2 desserts we wanted. It wasn't at the beginning of the week, so they couldn't use the excuse they had been busy. If they aren't going to have the desserts, they shouldn't be on the menu.
Sat on the patio for happy hour menu. Food and drinks were good, service was fine!
Thank you for the wonderful service and the special menu with Happy Birthday, Grandpa on it. You guys are the BEST
Ian was fantastic ... food was awesome
That McCormick and Schmick's didn't accept my Landry's Select membership card,,, (I was told they don't participate it after I have ordered the food).
2. My membership credits: (1) $30 New membership credit (2) $25 Birthday credit were not honored.
I couldn't take any benefits of $30 + $25 = $55 credit in my account.
3. My total payment of $80.03 + tip was not credited to my Landry's Select membership account.
4. In addition to our two main meals we ordered two Lobster Roll + Clam Chowder + French Fry that should have been $12.50 (as advertised in the McCormick and Schmick's restaurant website)
But, I got charged $18.00 each for each ---- ($36 total) --- $11.00 over charged..
5. We ordered two coffees, but the waiter brought three coffees and charged extra $3.40 for one coffee we have not ordered.
Time: 3:06 PM
Server: Matt W.
# Party: four (4)
Total $ Amount Food ordered: $80.03
Celebrated my best friend's 60th birthday at McCormick & Schmick's. Best birthday ever. Ian was an excellent server. His meal suggestions were spot-on and very much appreciated. Eating outside on your veranda was an extra surprise. It was wonderful!
Food was really good service was poor. Waited a least 20 mins an for my food. About before 15 mins before a service came over to introduce himself and give us water. I had to go to the bar and asked what was taking soooo long. 😤😤😤
Won't be going back. Disappointing all the way around.
Well, we had come back only because we had a $50 gift card to use from the last bad experience here. And this time wasn't perfect either. We had reservations at 7:30 pm, we arrived around 7:00 to have drinks at the bar. Hostess said: fine just let her know when we were ready to be seated for dinner. We did around 7:30 and she said it would be a little while. I'm thinking now what, they gave our reservation away. So we continued to stay at the bar. Now it is 8:00 and we were still not seated for dinner. Went back to the hostess and said we were really hungry and needed to be seated. Just then it was okay to sit.
The reason was because they were short on wait staff and had plenty of open tables, just not enough help. We are so done coming here, always something.
Food was awful prices outrageous for what you get
The food and service was magnificent!!! I love the Dolce Sangria. We will definitely return.
Excellent seafood & service was friendly and prompt.
M&S is one of my favorite restaurants and I'm not into seafood. While I will eat shrimp or scallops occasionally, I'm a beef guy. Their steaks are excellent. In fact the Filet Mignon I just had was one of the best I've had at any restaurant anywhere. As good or better than even the best steak houses. On top of excellent beef, M&S is quiet, a rarity today. The service is also and always excellent.
We have recommended M&S to our friends and they have all enjoyed it for the same reasons. Put M&S on top of your list, you won't be disappointed.
Menus printed with Happy Birthday on top for us!
Great food an service.
Wife’s birthday - food great, ambiance great. Service fair at best- friendly but always a bit tardy with everything. Considerable time spent without food, without water or drink refill. Not that busy, so unless they were short-staffed, there was no excuse that we could find. Still a well above average dining experience. The chocolate bag dessert was just outstanding!!
Waited for a server. Then waited a good 1/2 hour for our drinks. Our meal was brought out while we were still eating our salads. Waited for our server after we finished our meal to order coffee and dessert. He eventually brought out my husband’s espresso but not my coffee, which was lukewarm when it did arrive. Then had to wait for our dessert. We were there for almost 3 hours and most of that time was spent waiting and looking for our server. We could understand if it was busy, but it was not even close to a full house. The food was just ok. It was our 2nd time and I don’t think we’ll go back.
Wonderful service. Enjoyed happy hour cocktails and appetizers prior to meal. Highly recommend.
Service was outstanding food was absolutely delicious I’ll definitely be back
We ate on the lovely patio on a Sunday evening. We shared a Caesar salad, which was easily large enough to split. My husband had the seafood trio and enjoyed everything. I saw a sign for a lobster roll when we came on, but the waiter said it was only for lunch. So I ordered the lobster risotto and a lobster tail. The risotto was delicious! The tail was OK, but I don't believe it was the 4-5 oz. he said it would be. Should have ordered 2 risottos. My only complaint was the waiter was rushing us. Took our drink order and then asked if we were ready to order our meal! Maybe let me enjoy my glass of wine. Since there were maybe only a dozen tables filled in the whole place I don't get the rush. Of course when we were finished he was nowhere to be found.
The food was better than expected. The server was solid (not great, but serviceable).
