The kitchen service was horrible.this was my dad first-time there. He was disappointed all the way around. We arrived at 3:05 pm our food came out at 4:30 p.m. the waitstaff didn't check on us. She forgot my dad's lobsters tail with his steak.
We got there, I had a reservation. They attended us quick and the waitress was very nice and polite and was there for whatever we needed. Food was delicious. I had an amazing time
Service was great. Just wish we would have gotten our drinks refilled.
Food was excellent but service was not as good as it should be for an upscale establishment. My husband asked for onions in his salad. Salad came back after the rest of the meal was nearly completed and the onions were cooked. The pepper shaker was covered with something so the pepper couldn’t get thru the holes. When we looked at the bottom there was no stopper overall we enjoyed ourselves but with a few hiccups. Thanks.
I waited too long for service and the server was very forgetful
Menu choices excellent. Our server Aaron did a great job. Noise level a bit loud. Very good value. Will return.
The food is good, but meal portions could be a bit more for the price.
We showed-up an hour earlier than our reserved time and they we able to seat us within 10 minutes. Our server was overwhelmed with the amount of tables she was assigned but did her best. We attributed the slow service to the lack of employees, as we've been experiencing the sames shortage at other dining establishments. Overall, we were happy and satisfied.
The food was very good, seasoned to perfection. I normally do not like restaurants green beans, but theirs was seasoned so good I ate them.
Food was great, server was on point, environment was awesome.
Our server was excellent. The M&S mixed grill was delicious and well seasoned. We sat outside and the ambiance was great
The view from the patio table was beautiful. Miranda, our server, was excellent and the Chef's specials were very good! I will definitely be returning!
Had a waitress who was new and very slow but I’m sure she’ll get better with experience. Overall my dining experience was great.
The waitress Betty was excellent!!!
However the food was extremely bland, cold and flavorless. We will not be returning. It’s unfortunate because this used to be our favorite restaurant.
It was a pleasant evening and atmosphere. The food was delicious too.
Service and food was amazing! Awesome view of the Potomac!
The ambiance, professional staff, and mood of the restaurant was enduring.
Took 45 minutes to receive drinks and 2.25 hours to receive meals. Terrible.
Arrived on time, seated and 25 min for a manager to ask if a server had been by.
Ordered drinks and 35 min they arrived water down b/c of sitting at the bar.
Food was barely warm and sever never stopped to check after the kitchen delivered the main course.
This has gone down hill since it first opened.
We will not return.
The location is nice and food was really good! I would recommend!
Great food. Server was awesome. Thankfully we were off to the side do had a quiet corner.
We were a party of four. We always come to McCormick & Schmick's Seafood at the National Harbor. In fact, we always ask to sit at the same table. This time was no different. What was different was this was a time during the late stages of the pandemic. We were comfortable and the restaurant had the necessary safeguards. Our waitress was wonderful as was the food. I had the salmon with mashed potatoes - very good! Our party of four don't see each other often so we like to extend the time we have together. We never felt rushed. This visit was the first we had seen each other for 19 months!
That was the best steak (aged ribeye) that I have had in my 62 years. Brittany was outstanding. Coming back for our anniversary in August.
This was our first time here and we enjoyed ourselves. We were seated in a somewhat private part of the restaurant so we had a great table. The servers were very attentive and knowledgeable, they solid me on the mixed grill which was very good; a crab cake, blackened salmon and 3 stuffed shrimp. My wife had the bourbon glazed salmon and our 2 guests had the blackened salmon and everyone enjoyed their meals. We had the shrimp kisses for our appetizer, which is bacon wrapped shrimp, and that was very good as well. The seafood prices were reasonable, but the steak prices seemed a little high. I had a Manhattan and it was a little watered down, but I got a scotch on the rocks after that and it was a strong pour, which was good. For dessert we all had the crime brûlée and it was awesome, it a a thick, crunchy layer on it and was topped with berries. The location was great, right on the water at National Harbor. We would definitely go back.
McCormick & Schmicks was great but I have a problem with National Harbour. We were parked just over one and one half hours and it cost us $15. Ridiculous!
The bartender provided excellent customer service, timely and suggested drinks and food, friendly.
Great service, great food, great atmosphere. Great location.
Grteat food and service, but the restaurant was noisy and it was hard too converse.
Great meal, service was very good. Was a bit loud but overall a good dining experience.
Basically a nice evening. I think our waiter was in training. After serving our entrees there was no follow-up until he presented us with our check. We were not checked on during the meal, asked about another round of drinks, asked if we were interested in desert. But one kudo for our server. After I paid the bill, indicated the tip, and replaced the folio our waiter noticed that I had left my credit card in the folio. I appreciated that he had noticed.
Went here for dinner after hearing good things and was extremely disappointed. Service was slow, took a whole 15 minutes before we even got a server. However the couple next to us were getting checked in on every few minutes by the manager. The food was okay so that helped but the service was by far the worse I’ve had. Will not come here again.
The food was not up to par at all . Our waitress begged for a tip when they already took gratuity out because we had a party of 10 people. She wasnt that good of a waitress, we had to wait over a hour for our food. Just would really never go back sorry .
It was great to sit inside in the cool while we ate looking out over the water. What a view! I had the parmesan crusted flounder and my date had the pork chops, which he could not stop raving about. My flounder was just perfect but we both loved the steamed spinach and the green beans. We took home what we didn't eat along with the walnut apple pie, which was to die for. Can't wait to go back again.
Raven is a horrible waitress. She can care less about her customers. We had to constantly ask other waitresses to find her.
I never knew how incredible food could taste. Simply an amazing experience.
Just ok, ordered 2 lobster tails that came with mashed potato. I stated I could not eat the potatoes and asked for any kind of vegetable replacement. I was told it would be an “up charge” I decline up charge and received just the two lobsters. I decided to get the potatoes and gave away. I spent over $100 dollars for 2 and felt cheated. Limited menu and flexibility.
The service was very good. Social distancing was clearly in effect, and the food was the best that I have had at this restuarant.
The food and the service were both very good and it is obvious that the standards for both are very high. You can expect to be treated like a valued customer.
Delicious oysters, steak, and lobster tail. Enjoyed eating outside
I have to say my experience was lacking. I will admit that that the food was wonderful, but it took a tremendous amount of time for it to reach the table (1hr plus) during their final seating of the night. Even late at night this is a high traffic location and the staff in the back and front of house were overwhelmed and under trained. One simple example was the amount of time it took for the waiter to clear an empty tray of oysters. By the time she arrived to take it away the ice was half melted and left the table drenched. This pool of water sat on the table until the end of the meal. I hope this is simply the lingering effects of post-Covid reopening. One saving grace of this location was the friendly and accommodating manager. He was kind enough to ensure that they were able to accommodate a party of three although I mistakenly made the reservation for two. I hope he will be able to bring this location up to its full potential.
