Wanted to come here for my 21st birthday and it was a bad decision. Food wasn’t cook well enough but they over cooked my burger .
Also the waiter took my change without asking.
Really didn’t appreciate this restaurant .

The food has been steadily declining since they were bought out a few years ago. The piece of flounder I had was thinner than the fried batter surrounding it. The sides were the only thing worth eating. As far as service goes, our main course arrived half way through our bowls of soup. The server pushed their loyalty program twice after politely declining it. I used to love this restaurant. I would sometimes drive 30 minutes just for a good lunch.

I've been to this restaurant before for happy hour and dinners. Dinners have historically been mostly good and happy hours good as well. This night was a tremendous disappointment and I'm unlikely to return. The cocktails for our group of 4 arrived about 45 minutes after we ordered them and after our food arrived. The food, while tasty, was not at all hot. I think the bar was slammed and our server had too many tables. It was an expensive tab for a very sad dinner.

The service was less than desirable. Our reservation was 2:45pm. The crowd was small, however, our service was slow and poor. We waited for menus after being seated. We ordered two appetizers, one of which was never brought out. My son waited an extended time for his Shirley Temple. He requested blue cheese dressing as a dipping sauce with his entree which had to be requested several times before it was actually delivered. After finishing lunch, we waiting an additional extended time for a requested dessert menu.

I frequent this location and unfortunately, this experience left a lot to be desired.

The reservation process work just like I expected. Why make reservations if they are not adhere to. We walked in at 1:50 and was immediately seated. The server was very cordial and kind. Great food, we'll prepared.
Great experience for our 23rd Wedding Anniversary.

The food was amazing. However, we had a server who was in-training, so there were some orders that were mixed up. We had another server come and try to help us, but that just lead to more confusion. Our entrees came out before our salads/soups, and he had to come back multiple times to reconfirm our order.

The food and service were excellent. There were too many tables. Where we sat felt like Grand Central Station. It was Valentine's Day and very busy, but the busy-ness around the table was very close to uncomfortable at times.

Service was very slow. Waitress took forever to come back to check on our table. My husband asked for steak sauce by the time the steak sauce came i was pretty much done with my meal. Alcholic drink was nothing but juice. I had to send it back twice and have them take it off my bill. Food was great though.

Very Good Food, Superior View, Small Service Downfall

The five of us arrived for our reserved time a bit late, (following a phone call to alert them) receptionist quite polite. Seated instantly.

Server was kind and patient with some of our slower orderers - me - and answered questions well.

Appetizers were excellent (Crispy Calamari) as was food for all. Scallops were tender, creatively paired on bed of vegetables. Dining mates said Rockfish was excellent. All in all, a very good meal.

I dropped down my rating 'overall' by a point because the beverage service was impossibly slow. Up to the point of reminding the poor server a couple times (it was wine by the bottle, nothing tricky). For our second bottle, we waited over 20 minutes, and were about ready to conclude the meal.

Our server said his manager had to unlock the bin from which it was stored each time, which seems monumentally inefficient, though possibly required.

Otherwise, the place has a gorgeous view, is nicely appointed, food was really good, and service - with limitations - was as good as expected.

It was restaurant week and the wait was long considering we had reservations. We were finally seated at a table that had not been cleaned. Our waitress, Monai, however, was a joy!

Food was great but service was not! Birthday celebration for my husband and did not deliver what was promised. Did provide special menu but not for our entire table of 6. No special dessert and manager never came to table to make sure all was going well. Ordered a bottle of champagne but was told they ran out of champagne classes...really! Server was sweet but very busy and took 25 minutes to get our first drink order to our table. Food was good but left a little disappointed as this was a special occasion and I had specifically called the day prior and spoke to a manager but still did not deliver some of the “special” touches promised.

The only thing that was worse than the slow/uncaring service was the food! Two MICRO lobster tails and everyday mashed potatoes for $35...BUT you could get a third tail for a $10 up charge....really? I'm not a big eater and I get that It's the quality not the quantity. However, four of those micro tails would barely make a decent meal. And the taste was average at best. Good thing my spouse ordered something different or I would have starved! Ordered two drinks, the second one finally arrived after I was completely finished with my meal! Not a word from my server. Just dropped the drink on the table and took off. This place was all about getting them in and out. Save your money and go to Red Lobster where the ambiance is just as good and the food, service, and prices are better!

Went for restaurant week. The menu was good and so was the food for the most part. I ordered steak medallions with asparagus and roasted potatoes and my wife ordered twin lobster tails with lobster mashed potatoes. The steak was perfectly cooked (I ordered medium) and the portion surprised me for what were referred to as "medallions"; and the lobster tails, while not of notable size (no surprise there, restaurant week) were well cooked. The sides however, left something to be desired. I had only the stems of brussels sprouts on my plate and I had to search to find those and the lobster mashed potatoes were boxed mashed potatoes with an unremarkable "lobster" sauce on them. Very underwhelming.
The service was "meh" at best. First they failed to reserve my table and we had to wait several minutes for another couple to finish. I'll give them a pass, it was VERY busy no doubt do to the RW traffic. The waitress was very polite and personable, but she had NO knowledge of the menu, neither did the bartender know how to make a simple cocktail.
All in all, with all of the great choices at the National Harbor, this would be my last resort.

The food and the server were great. The restaurant seems to struggle with time management. After confirming the reservation 2 Days in advance and calling 15 minutes before our reservation to say we would be 10 minutes late, we still had to wait 20 minutes after arriving for them to set up our table. If it was busy, I’d understand but it was 4:30 pm and the restaurant was about 1/4 full. It also took 25 minutes for a round of drinks to arrive because the bar was backed up. Again, the food was great, but we probably won’t go back.

Atmosphere was good and servers were very courteous. However, it took a very long time to receive drinks, appetizers and meals. Ribeye steak was average, my wife’s filet was good though. I don’t think the value equation was good for price, meal quality and service.

I took my husband for his first visit to McCormicks for restaurant week. I hit the ball out of the park!! Great value, great food. He usually complaints but he loved the food. He had Ahi Tuna, Crab and Corn Chowder, and Apple Pie. My lunch was delicious as well.

We went for my husband's birthday. It was our second time here and both times we were disappointed. We'll not be returning. First, I informed our waitress of the occasion and it wasn't acknowledged. Secondly, it took almost two hours to get our food which left more to be desired. Overall, the experience was not very good to say the least.

This my Christmas dinner with my 4 adult kids, a son in law and my wife. With tip it was $800. More than I expected but I gave no limits. Drinks, appetizers and entras. We were about 2 1/2 hours. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu. I wanted something different this year. It was a good choice.

I went for Restaurant Week and the food was very good. The only downside was that two of the choices I ordered wasn't available. Usually I wouldn't mind, but I went on the first day of Restaurant Week at the earliest time slot. It's weird that two of the options weren't available.
