Worst experience I have ever had at a McCormick & Schmick's or any Landry's Group restaurant.
They maintained the usual high quality of food, and the waitstaff was adequate. On the other hand, apparently this location feels that the best way to improve profits is to reduce portion size and not worry about repeat business. The portions were half what I have come to expect from M&S. The places were not set and there was a wine carafe on the table from a previous dinner that was never clear throughout the meal.
The hostesses were disorganized and seemed very confused as to what was expected of them. The managers were indifferent to the hostesses struggling. And to cap it off the bathrooms were beyond filthy and unsanitary, and there was a red puddle on the floor of the bar area that I can only hope was ketchup.
I am amazed and horrified that Landry's is allowing this location to damage their brand this way.
I didn’t experience was just OK. Extremely crowded and the food was just so-so
I had reservations and did not have to wait. The atmosphere was pleasant. The sunset was beautiful from our window seat. Food was excellent and plated nicely. Our server, Dominique, did a great job. He was caring and courteous. We had an awesome experience.
I was a Veteran there with my spouse who is also a veteran, the hostee who I assume was a manager didnt believe I was a Veteran. She ask me three times my status. It appears she hestiate with giving me the menu for the Veteran Special. Just made me feel uncomfortable, if she was unsure ...she could have requested an id.
Awesome professional customer service. Thanks for looking out for thise whom served. The 2 day Veterans Day meal was the best. Thanks for what you for us!
Great food and received a free meal as a veteran. Great place for an afternoon luncheon or even dinner.
This was the first time I had ever taken advantage of this great opportunity and I was very glad I did. We were sat in a relatively quick timeframe, the food came out quick, and it was hot...which I loved!!! Thank you for a great experience.
Thank you for our Veteran’s. Day dinner! Everything was fantastic.
Veterans Day dinner with friends
Not my first visit....that's the best part - I so enjoy the food and drink at this establishment. I was particularly happy to enjoy a dining experience for Veteran's Day, of which I am, and was honored to meet other Veteran's. The menu was great with ample selection. My spouse also received a complimentary meal. McCormick & Schmick's generosity is not only commendable but greatly appreciated. They have supported Veteran's for several years and I appreciate their commitment to us - the Veteran's of the United States Military!
The food was fantastic. Cooked as I like it and was very tasty. The service was outstanding. The server always had a smile on her face. I had a window view of the harbor which just added to the nice experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The food and staff were great! I was seated immediately for my reservation.
I was a gusest for the Annual Veteran's Day event. Service was great, host was great, waitress was great, Manager was AWESOME. They were extremely accommodating when I had a minor concern.
The service was slow. We placed a drink order and dinner order. It took 30 minutes for drinks to be served and 45 minutes for dinner. The steak was over cooked. Sent it back and the 2nd go around was well done.
Was looking forward to having a nice meal on date night at what use to be one of my favorite restaurants. But not after today's experience. Ordered the pan cooked trout it was not done. Manager apologized and assured me that they would send me another order out asap. I watched my husband finish his meal and 45 minutes later no food insight for me. I had to go find the manager to let him know how disappointed I was that no one had checked to see if my food had come out of the kitchen, manager told me that it takes a while to cook trout????? Really??? 45 minutes .I asked to talk to General Manager he also apologized ...not good enough!! both managers went about running around the restaurant. I wont return , will not recommend Mccormick & Schmidt to others. I am a walking bill board others ask and take my recommendations..
..not good not good!!
Service wasn’t good. It took a while for the food to come.
The food was not hot when it was presented table side. The food was not flavorful. My dates soup was room temperature. The server dropped off the food and did not come back to check on us. My date had to get the hostesses attention to get our server.
My date said the crab cake was not hit and the taste was mediocre. My coconut shrimp were cooked hard making them almost dry: my date stated we would not be returning.
Great food and a beautiful location. I’d recommend to anyone in the area.
Food was fresh, tasty, and properly seasoned. Teenage daughter really enjoyed it!
The food was good but not stellar and the value was not awesome as it used to be. My group did not love it and whined about the price for dinner. I always enjoy the seafood there.
There was something in my food and I was reassured or comped my meal. I paid but I won't be visiting here again.
Maybe try the one in DC or another establishment.
We truly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere at this location. I must say a big thank you to our Server Tony, you are Superb!
Put me in a back table with my clients after having reservation weeks in advance and was noisy area and very slow service.
Enjoyed a delightful lunch and requested a window seat as well as a birthday celebration and it all happened. Very accommodating.
Service has to be better, more efficient. They are slow.
Unfortunately, this visit to your restaurant resulted in a very unfortunate experience.
This experience is a little unusual because we have visited your restaurant before.
Service was very good and my daughter enjoyed her meal but my meal was a bad experience.
We enjoyed, the food along with the great service that was provided. We definitely will return, and advise others.
Great service and excellent food.
Unusually bad experience. Incorrect drink order (wine); no bread served (when all the other tables were getting bread); fried shrimp were not good and a lot smaller than what they should have been. Service was bad - a lot of time passed without any attention. For the amount of money - we expected better.
We loved our meal and the outside atmosphere, but we did wait 90 minutes for our meal. If it had been really busy, we would have been ok with that, but they were not busy. The table beside us had 5 people we had 3, and they sat down 20 minutes later, were served and left 30 minutes before we left. It is a great place to eat and converse, but I am glad we really didn't have to be anywhere in a certain amount of time.
Food and service were both great. The calamari was extremely fresh.
As a whole, Food was good!! The shrimp kisses were pretty good..our waiter, John was a very good server. He catered to my daughters needs.
The table next to us treated him rude. I almost spoke up for him but he had it covered.
Sad to see at an establishment of this nature.
Dinner and wait service where excellent looking forward to our next visit
Food and preparation is outstanding; however, like many larger restaurants, attention to detail seemed to be somewhat lost. I think this is primarily due to restaurants assigning an inordinate number of tables to waiters/waitresses. For example, the appetizer my Wife ordered was not the one served (as an aside - the appetizer served was excellent) which was actually brought to the table by the restaurant Manager. On Open Table, we indicated we were celebrating my Wife's Birthday; and, we told the hostess we were celebrating my Wife's Birthday. At the end of the meal, after receiving the check, the Manager inquired if we were celebrating any special occasion, and we told her we were celebrating my Wife's Birthday. It was only after we were preparing to leave that they served my Wife with a lava cake cupcake with Birthday candle. Seems it would have been more appropriate for the Hostess and/or Manager to have properly communicated the occasion to the Waiter earlier. Food is great; but, when you pay $220 for a meal for two, attention to detail is expected and appreciated.
Lunch excellent, service excellent, prices excellent.
Not bad, not great.
Food was overcooked. Sat at a table directly in front of the entrance. Every time someone came into the area they hit my chair because there really wasn’t much walking room.
The crab cake had to much breading and they could have given more string beans
The waitress did not serve a bread basket until asked. She had no clue as to the Cobia item on the menu, a white fish. We asked for a salad with no cheese, The 10 Way Chop, but it arrived with cheese. The stuffed salmon entree is fabulous.
