McCormick & Schmick's Seafood - National Harbor
Love the atmosphere and staff. Food and service was amazing. Will come
Again after this coronavirus is over.
Excellent service and server despite current difficult times. Happy to be together with family and friends enjoying a great meal.
Excellent food, great, friendly server and service.
We were in National Harbor for 2 days. We were tying a meeting in Alexandria with some R&R. We had been to this restaurant before and remembered it being very good. It still is. Our server, Jimmy, took good care of us. Dinner was good. I had excellent Swordfish Casino.
We all had the fillet that was outstanding. Our sever went above and beyond, she was one of the best servers I have ever had.
Our server was a disaster. She could not recall our order properly. She asked if we wanted to place our total order at once and she promised that the food would come out separately. Everything came out at the same time. There were too many errors to name them all in this review.
Food was amazing!! Our server Chate was awesome and so helpful!!! Definitely recommend!!!
The were excellent we’ve got there a little early but they had our table ready the bathrooms very clean the waitress was Pleasant didn’t wait long for food
The service was phenomenal. The food was delicious and worth the price. The only complaint was this time around, it was a little bit greasy. This was our second time there! The desserts were fabulous and my husband loved the cheesecake. I enjoyed the Smith Island cake. My only complaint price point wise was the drinks (quality vs. price).
It does not match up with other locations regarding food quality, service and ambiance. I will never dine there again.
Waitress wasn’t attentive but the food was very good.
Worst service ever! Had to ask to order, food took forever to receive despite beating the rush and when I asked for pepper it never came. Will not be going back...
Steak was overcooked. Waiter never even asked how the meals were. Very disappointed in M&S. I’ll be selecting other steak houses as I travel
It was my girlfriend and i’s first time and it was a splendid evening. The steak was amazing and my girlfriend’s triple shrimp was good. Had an awesome time.
Server was outstanding! Wish I could remember her name!
Our waitress was incredibly sweet and nice, but it took us forever to get seated, our service was incredibly slow (took us an hour to get our food), one of my friends got brought out the wrong steak, and by the time he got it, it was 1030 and we were ready to leave. Probably won't be coming back to this location.
Carl and I really enjoyed our date night out. The food was scrumptious!
Wonderful meal. Seafood was excellent.
Delicious as always service was prompt and friendly.
Everything about the experience was excellent from start to finish: the food quality was amazing, and the selections left many options for future visits; the food service was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond to meet our expectations for seating and requests—we will definitely return!
I had a date with someone. Great ambiance. Food was really good. Service was good. Made the date even more enjoyable
The service was a fantastic experience. This was the second time I've kind at McCormick & Schmick I've not been disappointed with either dining experience. Kudos
Great! Amazing time
We were in the National Harbor area for CPAC 2020. Your restaurant was an excellent choice for our party of six. Many people were dining there this night and we can see why: delicious food and wonderful atmosphere. A lovely young lady named Kay was assigned our table--she never skipped a beat! Please let Kay know how much we appreciated her professionalism. Kay, we thank you! Stay as beautiful as you are.
Great food, great service and a fun time with friends.
The food is devine! I ordered the Beef Tenderloin Medallions and they were superb. However, the ambiance is dark and the noise level is very high. So if you don't want to talk and don't care if it is dark and you are only out for a great meal, then this is the place for you. But if you want to carry on a conversation and would like a bit of light, then I would recommend Bond 45.
Service was inattentive.
Great food and nice atmosphere. Fish was cooked well and delicious.
It was a wonderful experience cant wait to go again
Food was great as always... service could’ve been better but it was understandable for a busy Sunday dinner
Seated quickly. Waiter never came back after order. Had to personally find waiter when needed. Atmosphere and food was excellent!
Always a pleasure to dine at McCormick's except this past Saturday. The one time I had guests out of town and the experience wasn't so good. We waited 35-40 mins for our table, once seated an additional hour later to get our dinner. Least to say my guest were impressed.
We typically enjoy McCormick & Schmick's restaurants, including this one, but this visit was doomed from the start.
We drove 45 minutes to get to the restaurant from our home. We had an 8:15 reservation, and we didn't get seated until after 9:15. By this point the kids were not only famished, but exhausted.
We brought a friend from Japan with us, and he hadn't had rice for a while, so he asked for a large portion of rice to go with his salmon as the side, and nothing else. When the bill came, we were charged $15.00 just for risotto! When I complained, the waiter apologized, but didn't take it off of the bill.
We also ordered tenderloin medallions cooked medium for my daughter, but when they arrived, they looked almost raw. We asked for another order cooked properly, but they charged us for two orders.
I had to ask 3 times for lemon slices for my water and twice for extra ketchup for my son's french fries. By the time it arrived, my son was already sleeping with his head on the table. He hardly ate anything. (I'll be eating his leftovers for lunch today.)
And the dining room was quite cold, given that the tables are not far from the front door. My kids kept their coats on all through dinner.
I hope this was just an off-night and that it doesn't portend the direction this particular restaurant or the chain as a whole is heading.
Mini Family Reunion, because we all happened to be in the DC area at the same time. (This wasn’t a planned family union...)
Thank you to Open Table and the wonderful hostess Ashley, M & S was able to accommodate us at two different tables but close together. Also, Ashley is a wonderful listener! She understood this wasn’t a planned family gathering, but tried her best, and was successful at meeting our needs. That’s CUSTOMER SERVICE! Please let Ashley know we appreciate her service.
Also, our server, Maryhonda???, was wonderful that evening as well! She handled both of the tables, with kindness and patience! It’s not easy serving 10 people all by yourself! Maryhonda??? did an excellent job! Thank her as well! Because of all the wonderful things I just started above, my family and I will definitely go back and recommend Open Table, and M & S to our family and friends!
Their menu and service have greatly improved. They are now a spot that I put on my calendar a few times monthly!
Rockfish dinner and oysters on half shell to start. Ousters were fresh and tasty. Fish was very well prepared.
Server was great...beautiful scenery at night.
Bread was average; most everything else 4/5 or 5/5.
I had an enjoyable lunch. The staff was friendly and provided great service.
Outstanding in every way as always. We definitely will eat here again.
