This was our 4th visit to this M&S. Carl, our waiter, did a wonderful job. He kept in touch with us throughout our meal. We arrived at 5:30, so it was during Happy Hour and quite energetic. The food was served promptly and was very tasty.
We'll come back again.
My husband and I arrived at 10:30 PM, we were not rushed at all. The food was fresh and amazing. Our service was spot on. Compared to similar restaurants we felt the pricing was very fair. Will be back soon!
Meal was wonderful------------bartender mixed a VERY weak drink & could care less when I told him about it.
Manager took it in her hands and had a "real" drink remixed
Staff, food and service was excellent. Highly recommend!
Too expensive for the quality of food, but chocolate bag is delicious
Over priced for food that was not that good. I guess it was the restaurant manager, visited our table and talked about how much food she has eaten there and how her pants don't fit her etc...she was trying to be friendly and that was understood but it was just weird.
The appetizer & entrees were exceptional and the chocolate bag was divine.
The hostess noted I had increased my party with one more individual, but still sat us at a small table when there were many larger ones open all night. Wait staff was great. Food was abysmal, the chicken was over cooked as was my husbands fish. Drinks were awesome.
hostess greeting not welcoming
waiter nice but not together, forgot many items
food sub par
expense not equivalent to the quality of food
salmon over cooked, risotto bland, steak and lobster over cooked
lobster bisque was delicious
Staff was amazing. Food was great.
Great food and good service.
Value with the Landry Group connection, like the fresh fish selection and seasonal vegetables.
We came in at 10:50 for reservations at 11. There was no one in the restaurant other than us and another group who was seated shortly after we arrived. There was a large group that came in at 11:05 and were IMMEDIATELY seated as the hostess knew which party they were, we were then left to wait even longer. The hostess then returned and with near disgust and utter rudeness snapped “okay, I can seat you now”. Like we were the worst thing that had happened so far in her day. I had specifically asked for a BOOTH in my reservation, and we were sat in the Bar area. This really upset me. Our waiter in the bar was amazing. The entire establishment seemed as though they were not ready for business yet. Everything slow and no one AWAKE and energetic. The manager did not seem to want to be there and was not exactly dressed the part. It was a very disappointing experience from a restaurant I love.
Was on date night and the food presentation was not very appetizing . Service was slow and questionable because it was early evening and the restaurant was not full. Asked for Ice Tea and received lemonade and the waiter started questioning me about the drink, should have exchanged it. We go to this restaurant many times but this was a bad experience. Thanks for listening
poor service slow food cold food
Excellent service, food prepared deliciously, good ambiance. Like the seafood selections. Shrimp cocktail is exceptional!
We had another great experience here. Our second trip in the last few weeks. Our waiter was outstanding and the food was perfect.
Food is consistently very good. Two of us shared the Ultimate seafood platter and it was plenty of food. They even put it on two separate plates for us. This restaurant is on our regulars list and we never get tired of it. The lemon drop martinis are my favorite in KC.
Disappointed in the quality of the food. they even screwed up french fries
The special dessert they brought ought for the birthday was beautifully presented and delicious!
Great food and wonderful service. This is the perfect place for client lunches. Waitress made sure we stayed on time.
Took the family out for my wife's birthday it was a Saturday reservation time was 8 p.m. very busy but what do you expect for a Saturday night. Wait staff was amazing attentive even when busy the appetizers were great. Ordered shrimp kisses and another shrimp appetizer which the name slips my mind but they were wrapped in bacon which was amazing the bread-and-butter was a great combination snack also. My wife ordered strawberry basil smash I believe it was called which had Hendricks gin as the main spirit. My wife ordered the minion with two lobster tails my son ordered the craft beer fish and chips and I would have to say it was probably the best fish and chips I have ever tasted yes I because I did taste my son's meal it was amazing. I ordered the seared ahi tuna with Wasabi mashed potatoes and bok choy again amazing overall the night was a great experience we will be returning with family and friends great place lived up to my expectations.
I was very disappointed in our server.
The biggest issue was when our table ordered dessert I had asked for a small bowl of fruit since I had given up sweets for lent because it was to costly!! The chocolate bag lacked fruit.
She had a hard time locating the featured wine and finally found one. We did spend over 300 hundred dollars.
M&S is one of our favorites; however, it's a bit concerning when the lights keep flickering all night. What's up with that? I asked that our table candle be turned on for fear the electricity was going out.
Fabulous food - as usual. We had a curtained table for our group which was nice for privacy but did not lend itself well to service. Would definitely go there again.
We had early reservations so restaurant was not busy when we arrived. We were seated in a nice table by the window. Waiter was prompt and courteous. Good food value for the money
Food was good. Wife's salmon was a little fishy for her taste. Couldn't visit without the bag of chocolate.
Waitress seemed to be high or something. She was definitely strung out on something. The food was good as always, good ambiance, just needs better staff.
Server did a nice job. Table was perfect but food was luke warm and no flavor. Crab cakes no consistency. My hope is management will work to correct as I read other reviews similar to my experience.
We thought we would take advantage of the happy hour specials, but they are only available in the bar area. The food wasn't worth the cost and our waiter seemed bored.
My wife and I had an amazing anniversary dinner. This was my first visit here. It will definitely not be my last. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Thank you !
Food was great, very reasonable for a Sunday brunch and had quite a bit to choose from. Service was excellent and of course it is a very nice restaurant.
Our server Francesca was amazing! The food was delicious and the chocolate bag dessert was unlike anything we had ever seen. Will definitely be returning to dine again soon!
Bad waiter food good
My husband and I's favorite place in town!
A very comfortable dining experience. The ambiance is wonderful as well as the scenic views of the plaza. The service was outstanding and the food was very good. Definitely will return!!
I love this restaurant the shrimp and crab stuffed salmon is my favorite food on their menu and the chocolate bag is always amazing as well.
Great food and a fun experience! Our server recommended the Upside Down Apple Pie instead of our usual Chocolate Bag - it was really yummy and a great finish to the meal. The Casino Swordfish was delicious!! Yum!
Great service and great food as always!
I would not recommend if your looking for a somewhat quiet place to eat. Was going for more of the romantic feel and it was not it was to loud and to much going on. Hard to talk. Overall food was just okay. C- for me
