Thought the food was very mediocre. Had the trout. Was tasteless and swimming in a white oily sauce. Not great.
My guest seemed to be ok with he ate but in general the menu and the food and taste seemed to be from the 90s..,

This is a priced place to get good seafood. Ambiance was very pleasant. There was a bar area which seemed very lively, but we dined in the regular dining room.

We loved our dining experience at McCormick and Schmick's. The service was fantastic, the food was perfect and we liked the atmosphere very much. Our service was an experienced waiter who knew when to approach the table, he knew the menu + wine list and remained patient with my picky dining companion through her dietary restrictions, indecision and numerous requests. The atmosphere was a ideal place for a business meal. I highly recommend!

Upon arrival for a reservation on Valentines day, we were sad to see several couples arrive after us and be given a table before us. Then after getting a table, several minutes went by before we saw our waitress. She saw our anger and helped to make up for it after and all went well from there except for a rare piece of meat to send back.

FOOD WAS GREAT AND SERVER MARTI WAS TERRIFIC VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND VERY ATTENTIVE SERVER. WE WENT FOR VALENTINE'S DAY AND MADE A RESERVATION. Very short staffed when we arrived for our reservation at 5 pm. One server for the whole room. I went up to the bar to get water. Server was apologetic but not his fault. Food was ok, nothing that great. We started with a shrimp cocktail, 5 nice size shrimp. I had a Caesar salad which was just ordinary if that. My husband had a trio, two types of shrimp and a piece of salmon. Again, just ok. This used to be a nicer place with really good seafood. So sorry to see it start to go downhill.

Calamari "Frito Misto" very crispy and tender. Walnut Mixed Greens lightly dressed (perfect) however the blue cheese could have had a slightly sharper flavor. Parmesan crust on the slightly overcooked flounder overpowered the flavor of the fish. Service - EXCELLENT!

I had the Scottish Salmon with the beets, onions and asparagus -- wonderful! One of the best salmon I've had in a long time. We also had the tableside Tuna Tartare -- very good. The reception and service was good. The only criticism I have is the booth (bench) seating is uncomfortable. Next time we'll ask for a table instead.

We were disappointed with the service. There were only two servers in the lounge. Our server didn’t seem to be able to keep up the tables. We asked for water n bread but she brought it after we finished dinner but she didn’t say sorry or any explanations. Don’t know if I’d eat there again.

We had gone for dinner. The waiter and service was very good. The coconut shrimp was overcooked and had no coconut on it. Strike 1. The clam chowder soup was fantastic--best part of the meal. We also had the walnut salad--it was good. Someone ordered a margarita and said they could not taste alcohol in it (and she is a light drinker). The wait for dinner was far too long and the manager even come to apologize without us mentioning the lateness. We were going to be late for a next appointment. Strike 2. When dinner arrived the fish plate was to have nuts on it (had nothing) and the fish was overcooked--very dry. We could not eat it and just took it home for the dog. Strike 3. The restaurant did waive the cost of that dinner dish from the bill since we could not eat it.

Way too pricey for what seemed casual, average food. We could not wait to leave the place and will not return. So, it seems that the place is cutting corners and should close.

We made a late reservation on a Friday evening. Maybe it's a warning sign how easy we got a reservation with little lead time on a Friday evening. We arrived on time, restaurant was not busy (maybe quarter full). Waited several minutes before hostess showed up to seat us. Waited some more before waiter showed up to take our drink order.

I ordered Lump Crab Stuffed Shrimp and wife order Lobster Habanero Mezzaluna (Ravioli). I had a cup of New England Chowder which was quite good. Waited for our food to show up. Not sure how long our food sat under the heat lamp. Plate was hot but our food was lukewarm at best. Her ravioli was a bit dry. Flavor was actually pretty decent if you can overlook it not being hot which is not so great for seafood.

Price is on par with other restaurants of similar class. However, we expected better for the price of our meal. We did not have any alcohol and the bill came out to around $70 dollars. We'll think twice before give this place another chance.

Having dinner with family and was rather disappointed with the poor service. Our waiter Greg seemed to be disinterested in providing basic level of service. No checking back on us, didn’t ask if I wanted another cocktail until after our food arrived and didn’t clear my empty glass until after the meal. His attitude was poor and it definitely detracted from our meal.

I don't know how it can get any better: service, menu choices, food preparation. Manager and waiter were so warm and friendly. Couldn't have picked a nicer place to celebrate a special 80th birthday! Thanks to all for a memorable occasion. We WILL be back.
