McCormick's Seafood Trio
Grilled Shrimp, Stuffed Shrimp, Grilled Salmon
Maine Lobster Bisque
Great food. Steak cooked perfectly. Sea bass was so delish. Our server was Courtland...very attentive, very personable. The little birthday dessert was a nice finish to dinner.
A+++ for service selection and quality.
Great meal. Our server was perfect—didn’t rush us, didn’t interrupt our conversation, and responded to our requests. My buttermilk shrimp were excellent. Wife’s shrimp cocktail had the biggest shrimp I’ve ever seen!
We had a great dinner with family and friends. Had a group of ten on a Saturday evening and they accommodated us well. The food was very wonderful. Especially the salmon and apple pie.
Had the fish and chips. Very small portions. Hardly any chips (fries). I’ve had much larger fish portions at much cheaper restaurants.
What’s up with the stingy fries?
Very hard to recommend.
Great Experience!! The food was delicious and the service was superb!!
Used to be frequent visitor for lunch, first time back since Covid. Service was slow and inattentive, even though not that crowded. Menu card didn’t work, just took you too the website. Lobster roll…. Lots of bread, lots or roll not much lobster. Fries were cold. Chowder, a bit watery, just average. What is up?
This was once one of my favorite restaurants. The location in Dallas closed several years ago, so I was really looking forward to dining here. Upon arrival, our initial waitress was great. However, she was only standing in for Riley, who came just before we ordered our main courses. Riley showed up at the table sweating. We did not order right away, as someone sweating handling our food was off putting. When we placed our orders, one of us wanted to substitute mixed vegetables. Riley highly recommended the crab mashed potatoes, but failed to mention the $8 up charge until asked. We declined and opted for spinach instead. The meals were delivered, but with mixed vegetables, no spinach. When brought to Riley’s attention, she corrected, but still failed to mention the up-charge for substituting one vegetable for another. During our meal, we ran out of water twice and had to wait quite some time for Riley to return. Perhaps, Riley should be retrained to focus on transparency, promptness and hygiene.
The food and wine were excellent. Service was very good.
Great food that we have experienced in many cities around the country. Always a safe bet, and very pleasant experience.
We all enjoyed our food. We will be back.
Great service. Good food. Enjoyable evening.
It’s always a wonderful experience there and one of my favorite go-to places for all occasions. Our server was excellent and the food were amazing as always.
Quality from the onset, Great location, great food, great service. The upside down apple pie was well worth fighting blood sugar control for
Our food came out in good order. Be careful of the New England chowder though, it seems to have arrived by way of New Orleans! Server Riley was excellent though.
This was my first visit to M&S. We went to celebrate a birthday. The birthday was excited to have oysters on the 1/2 shell. While the oysters and our cocktails were the best items we received....they ran out of oysters. Our cherry mules were the best! There was no fresh fish option on the menu. Everything just tasted bland and no real favor. It was not what I was expecting at all with the prices of the entrees. My fish was over cooked and lacked any pizazz. If it hadn't been where the birthday girl wanted to go, I would've complained but she was already upset that they were out of oysters and also had no heavy cream to serve with coffee. Save your money and go to OceanAire where the service is spectacular and the food is superb.
There are much better places to dine downtown for the price.
The menu is extremely limited for those who aren’t seafood lovers, but was very good what was available.
Great food and service
The steak and lobster mashed potatoes were just okay, the steak was fair enough but I can make a better steak at home. The lobster mashed potatoes sounds great but did not deliver, the mashed seemed under flavored and not freshly made.
I realize service was probably poor because they were obviously understaffed. Our waiter was doing the best he could under the circumstances. I was willing to ignore the slow service if the food had been good but it was very disappointing. My parmesan crusted flounder was very bland as well as my son's herbed chicken
Food was great. Had to wait much, much too long for drinks had to remind the server over and over
Excellent! Tucker was our waiter and it was like having a nephew as a server. Nice, made eye contact and actually seemed to care about our enjoyment. Food was great
Be advised - there's still no valet parking but there's a self-park garage across the street. Overall good experience - there was no mention of my husband's birthday even though I specified it in the notes for the OT res. They did read it though, because they had a table ready with four chairs for our party of five (one is in a wheelchair) Our server was pretty good, he was in his second week. Only a couple times did food come out and offered to the wrong table because the wrong table number was on the ticket. Food was great as always. We were there early evening on a Sunday so not crowded or noisy. Definitely going back, it's one of our fave places for downtown dining and celebrations of any sort.
We were overall pleased with our dinner at McCormick and Schmick ‘s. The food was good but not great and the decor could use some sprucing up. However our waiter was absolutely great and very attentive and made the experience enjoyable.
Waitress was very friendly and helpful! We had a wonderful dinner.
Disappointed in the presentation and taste of food given the cost. Best thing were the Delaware Bay oysters
Fabulous dinner as always. Restaurant not crowded so it was so nice to be able to talk without having to raise our voices
The cook could not get the steak right. It was presented to me twice- the first time over cooked and the 2nd time extremely under cooked. I finally took it home to finish cooking myself.
I will say the fish was good but slightly dry.
We enjoyed our anniversary dinner. My only concern was price.
Nice place. We arrived early and they seated us right away. Good food, great service and very reasonably priced. We enjoyed it very much.
We celebrated an anniversary and a birthday. Our waiter was attentive without being overbearing, made sure our needs were met and the manager, other waiters and busboy all made sure plates were cleared for the next course. A great dining experience which is why we come back. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion size. Vegetables were cooked nicely and the steaks done as ordered and flavorful. THe complementary birthday/anniversary dessert was just the right size to share. My house speciality drink was well made and a nice mix of interesting flavors. Overall, a great dining experience, just as planned.
everything was perfect! The price for my seafood plate was great and very similar to other seafood places, but this is a much better location and beautiful place.
A perfect dining experience, as always. Impeccable service provided by our waiter, Doug! Looking forward to the next outing.
We met our daughter here for our 40th anniversary. Very nice environment for some time together. The food was marvelous! My only negative point is to the general downtown - parking is a pain.
Enjoyed a delicious meal over race weekend!
Always a wonderful experience. Super happy to see that this restaurant is still open and seems to be thriving.
Thank you for the super tasty food, wonderful service and overall great experience.
Disappointing. Piece of plastic wrapping in my dinner, food mediocre at best, conversation across the table required near shouting bc the music was so loud and no server should ever say, “we can share that dessert, nom, nom, nom.” And yet she did.
What was once a nice restaurant now has a customer base dressed in tshirts and shorts, the waitress belonged at Chucky Cheese and all three hostesses spent their time collectively leaning on the stand.
Don’t waste your time here.
Our first night out in Indy. Food was tasty, service was attentive, and we had a great evening.
