First time here and we absolutely loved it. Very elegant and romantic, yummy food
Our entree' was served at a temperature around warm at best. Food was ok buy for the price I was expecting much better.
Everything was wonderful; food, service, attentiveness, EXCEPT for the loud music. We had requested a quiet, comfortable booth setting to accommodate a hearing impaired elderly person. The booth style was comfortable, but even those of us who were not hearing impaired had a very difficult time hearing each other and conversing. PLEASE consider turning down the music.
very good seafood in a very nice atmosphere. good service from hostess to server. fresh fish and specials daily. for me was worth the 45 minute drive for the business luncheon.
Had fried shrimp dinner => shrimp were ok; french fries were bad - soggy and cold.
Great night. Great food. Great service!!
Bad chairs...you sink in too much..then I tried sitting on the edge better but they need to redo the place!!!
I'm on a first date...I sit down...become short guy...I wiggle..no good..then I get up on the front edge..balanced..all through dinner...otherwise I would be eating like...ELMER FUD....
they missed delivering my side too...
Great ambiance. Our server was exceptional. The bread pudding is divine.
Friendly staff Easy parking
dinner menu selections good but pricey
Food prep good but not outstanding
considering the prices
Wines were over priced
The staff and food were great as always; everytime I come I'm never disappointed.
I took my girlfriend in for our two year anniversary. The food was absolutely phenomenal! The lobster mashed potatoes are always a must! This was our second time here and we will definitely be back! The service was very prompt! Great job!
I enjoyed the ultimate grill mix. Although, I thought the seafood gumbo lacked andouille sausage and the chicken pieces could've been a tad bit chunkier. My experience was great. The waitstaff Ethan was great in helping pick my food choice.
Great stuffed shrimp! Received a free dessert for or anniversary!
Food was good. Restaurant was not busy and service started with no problems. However towards the end the service was awful. We finished and waited over 15 minutes for him to even return and just ask if we were ok and took off before allowing us to request the check. Another 10 minutes went by and we flagged him down and asked for the check. He replied we were not done with our wine, we wanted to go home not worry about leftover wine. He then lied to his manager in regards on what took so long. Just not a good experience.
Service was slow, Seared Ahi Tuna was refrigerator cold (including the seared outside), Salmon was nothing special. Calamari and bread pudding were great.
Awesome will definitely come again
Got there early, singer was performing in the outdoor patio ...
So we sat out side and had a drink and appetizer while waiting for a table.
Weather was nice and for being next to 610 ... We could not hear much of the traffic noise,
The musician was easy to hear and at a good sound level, he could be heard easily.
The drinks and appetizers were wonderful, I'm usually a on the rocks or beer guy ...
But they have some nice drinks, not too sweet and they tasted Great!
Nice appetizers, most happy hour "specials" are small and not always fresh or taste very good,
Not the case here, we were having a good time listening to the entertainment and the weather was nice so we ate outside.
Both our meals were beautiful and tasted twice as good to taste!
The crab legs were a little dry, like they were out of the water too soon.
The sweet potato, crawfish hash on my wife's dish was the stand out sides!
The rest was very good, the hash was just really good!
And the service was spot on!
Oscar was there when we needed and did not hover ...
Service has become a rare in today's service industry,
But you can find it here with Oscar .... Ask for him
Over all I would have to say a jewel in the otherwise lacking Landry's family crown of chain restaurants.
Great service. Food is always excellent.
Was my wife birthday, restaurant was overwhelmed by too many tables and not enough servers, we did not get drinks in a reasonable time, manager give us a lot of attitude when we ask for more bread and wine list. most important no one told my wife happy Birthday or a candle in the dessert. server did OK he try really hard to take care of Us.
I do a lot business with Landry’s, I take my clients almost daily for lunch or dinner, to Mastros, Landry’s, wilieG, etc, and soon I will be using the post oak hotel for my clients.
this time I was really disappointed. my wife love McCormick and I was expecting a WOW night for her.
Really really disappointed.
Terrible service and l believe not the fault of the waiter seems he had a big private party as well as tables
Lovely. Our drinks were d
The food was great. The server was good. The hostesses were unprofessional.
Everything was great, and we had a wonderful waitress.
Ambience was very nice and great for our small group of friends.
Seafood platter and truffle fries were delicious. Filet Mignon was okay - it needed more flavor (I had to add salt/pepper).
One of my favorite restaurants. Food and service are great! Glenn and Charlene are the best!! Top notch all the way around!
We arrived 10 minutes early and had to wait at the bar for our table. Although we had a reservation, we were seated an hour late! On too of that, they marked us as a no show on Open Table!
Good restaurant, but it was grossly overbooked. Food is really good, but service was lousy.
My wife and I really enjoyed the food and the excellent service. We had really wanted to enjoy the a quite time together for the Valentine's Day special occasion. I am not sure we enjoyed the ambiance of a quite time together.
I noticed in the choices for coming to your restaurant and one was listed as quite as well as energetic. I don't believe these two go together. Maybe I am a bit old fashioned as I am 72 but I would have enjoyed a quieter ambiance much better.
I don't know if that is available in Houston anymore as I have not found one yet.
It was just ok. Food was blaa. Needs updating. Older crowd. More food options. Food was way to fast. Sounds funny but let me enjoy my dinner and not run me off. Food wasnt that great. For the name and location they need an overall. Its 2018! Bread was good.
Loved the service, the fresh seafood and champagne!
Had a great date.
Outstanding as always. My husband and I enjoy coming here especially because I have major shellfish allergy and I feel safe eating here. They always take it seriously. I would hate to have to give up fish which I love because I couldn’t trust the chefs not to cross contaminate. I’ve had it happen in other restaurants, never here.
I had the cod, pan fried instead of beer battered and deep fried due to the small possibility of cross contamination of shrimp. It was warm buttery moist and delicious. I substituted green beans and carrots for the fries, they were perfectly prepared. They gave me a plethora of sauces to dip and some lemons but I didn’t need any. My husband had the trout which he enjoyed as well. Manager came out to verify my allergy and the degree it is which I appreciate. Service was top notch. Only down sides and they lost a point for it was a door kept opening and letting in cold air and the smell of cigarette smoke. If they try to sit us there again will ask to move.
It took 45 minutes to get some bread! On a Saturday night, really!?!?!? The waiter was very slow in bringing drinks and food! Maybe wasn’t his fault but the kitchen!! No many tables but just a few waiters! Male manager was going everywhere in the room without accomplishing anything! We were seated at 7:45 we left the restaurant at 10:40. We ordered the main course and desert!
We were there the week before and we were very satisfied with service and food. What a difference a week can make!!
Excellent service!!! Loved the curtains on our booth. It gave us such a wonderfully intimate feel for a large restaurant. The food was incredible! I had the Seared Scallops over lobster and potatoe hash with sautéed spinach... just delicious.
Can’t say enough nice things about this place. The staff and managers are truly caring, genuine and anticipate our needs.
Average at best. Should be much better for the price.
When you go, ask for Gaby she is fantastic. Love their Buck a shuck Wednesdays and the rest of Happy Hour.
the food is always excellent however the last two visits the service has been so slow Im rethinking whether or not I will return. I should not have to ask a waiter multiple times to take my order
Imagine was a great server. I was well taken care of
I was a bit disappointed for the second time within the past two months in a Landry’s restaurant. The food was good, the service very was “ok” nothing special and very slow. It wasn’t a packed house but we still had to go a request someone to take our order. When finally coming there was no apology for the wait. The manager should have come around to apologize for the 30-40 minister wait to even take our order. We had to ask for water, no one came around for refills. I have to physically get up from the table to find a server.
I love to do my birthday week and special meals at McCormick & Schmicks.
Fresh seafood , atmosphere , nice staff, and the lighting is just right.
