Meh! Food was ok. Nothing to get excited about. We had steak and fish and although the steak was better than the fish, this isn’t a restaurant that we will “crave” and NEED to go back to. Service was slowwwww and our waitress was ,like the food, not bad but not good. Oysters were expensive for the tiny little ones they gave. Drinks were ok but we only had one each because they weren’t exceptional either and we weren’t asked if we wanted another. We LOVE Morton’s and thought it might be similar but it was NOT. S&M wasn’t bad but it also wasn’t memorable .

Taylor our waitress was really nice but she had too many tables by herself.

My first bad experience at McCormick & Schmick's. They ran out of the monthly special they were advertising. Over-cooked fish, cold potatoes. Even the replacement meal ordered by the manager was over-cooked. Unfortunately we won't be going back.

My wife and her friends loved it, and they had a great time. Very nice restaurant.

Started out well! Ordered our appetizers and I stay away from certain ingredients due to dietary restrictions. I ordered my salad without tomato due to my restrictions. My entree was shrimp scampi and it isn’t common for tomato to be in this dish, nor did the menu mention tomato, nor our server. So, I picked out each diced tomato piece. When our server stopped by to ask if food was good, I said yes, except for the tomatoes. He said he forgot about the tomato in the sauce and he offered to send it back, but I had picked them out by then and I don’t like sending food back. He then offered to bring extra sauce sans the tomato and I agreed. After that he disappeared for 15ish minutes and my pasta was cold by the time he returned . He put the sauce down, said nothing and walked off. My husband was taking the remainder of his food home and I did the same. By the way, both to go containers had a tear in the styrofoam, but my husband just went ahead and used the damaged boxes. I would anticipate that a server would mention tomatoes in the entree being I ordered my salad without them. He still got a 40% tip, but he needs more training. Oh, and his mask was under his nose throughout our time there! Not cool.

Typical Landry's restaurant dining experience, great level of service and quality. Establishment was very clean and sterile. Food was on point as usual.

Got seated in a separate room not in the main dining area, looking like this room is reserved for open table online reservations. Won’t be using open table for reservations anymore

I checked out the website prior to our visit to McCormick & Schmick. I was so excited for my husband and I to have the Valentines special. According to the website, they had a $50 per person meal which is a great deal. The meal included a soup or salad, a 4 oz. New York Strip and 1 Lobster tail or if seafood is more your choosing you could go with 2 Lobster tails instead. You also had a choice of desserts to choose from. Considering the website said "Valentine's Weekend Special", I did not think to call the restaurant and confirm that this special was good for the entire weekend or the details on the Valentine's Special. I choose a late lunch time slot, hoping to beat the dinner rush. My husband and I traveled over 2 hours away for a McCormick & Schmick's experience. Unfortunately only to discover that the "Valentine's Weekend Special" was only valid at dinner. So bummed that our meal did not turn out like we'd hoped. Since making the journey, we did order off the menu, our food was good. I just hated that it wasn't made clear, that was only during certain times. We were looking forward to it. In the future I will call the restaurant ahead of a scheduled visit to make sure to make the reservation during the appropriate time to receive whatever is advertised.

My Atlantic salmon entree was smaller than usual, as my son and I dined there several times per month. But the overall ambience was elegant and intimate as usual.

Great atmosphere and wonderful food! Dishes were well prepared and presented. Excellent service; our server answered all of our questions about the food options. We ordered King Crab, fillet, lobster, and oysters; All of our dishes were cooked perfectly. The bar Staff also crafted the raspberry mule we ordered wonderfully. Would highly recommend this location for food, drinks, staff, and atmosphere.

Asked for a booth away from other people. So after we started orders etc they sit 11 women next to us...loud and annoying . Group on the other side of the wall were VERY loud. Half hour wait for salt and pepper??

The waiter did tell us we could've gotten something else if we didn't like the food, but we just weren't impressed. We wanted something with more flavor. We did get to eat this chocolate cake thing that he brought out. Might've been the best part.

I was visiting from LA and wanted some good seafood. This was a great place to go to. It’s a very large restaurant so you probably won’t even have to wait.

Patio dining with heaters. We were there for Happy Hour - very few people. Likely uncrowded because rain was expected, we’ve heard it’s usually mobbed. We reserved outdoor table and felt “safe” in this Covid era.

We had a wonderful time visiting with friends. The food was excellent, the wine was delicious and the service was also excellent. The server was friendly and got our orders exactly right. He brought fresh, hot bread to start us off which is always good. We have found that M&S has a good wine selection for any meal. The crab-stuffed salmon is wonderful for us and I would recommend that to anyone.

My food was cold. It is cold almost every time I dine here.

Birthday celebration

Formulaic. Very average cocktails, shrimp cocktail wasn’t deveined well, ahi tuna didn’t seem fresh, crab cakes were more binder than crab. Service was fine. On a Saturday night, place was fairly empty (although during a pandemic, that is appreciated!

For the price, there are many other options in Houston.
