Staff was happy to accommodate our requests. We enjoyed the food, the service and we will return......
They have THE BEST happy hour in town! The food is incredible (I always get fish tacos w/blackened instead of fried fish) and you cannot beat the happy hour prices! Their normal menu is also fantastic if you cannot make happy hour.
Had a great 20th birthday dinner for my daughter. The food was delicious! Desserts were yummy. Our waitress was wonderful. They even personalized our menus with my daughters name and birthday. Great touch, very personal, I highly recommend McCormicks in DTC.
Great food, nice atmosphere, free valet parking . It was a very nice evening out
We are glad we've been here many times before. Our waiter misunderstood when we discussed our time frame and he thought we were on a tight schedule. Entrees came before we finished salad. Then we got up to ask for additional items. Sorry to say he didn't get our usual generous tip.
Wild caught salmon from Scotland was fabulous. New York strip cooked perfectly medium rare. Service was excellent. Only disappointment was the Oysters Rockefeller which was the best dish I’d ever had here previously. No crispy panko crumbs or grated cheese, just mushy spinach and chopped oyster bits. I was so looking forward to these and at $16 for four bites they were a let down. Otherwise a great dinner.
Our food was excellent and our waitress took very good care of us! We will be back soon!
Everyone & everything was great!
We had a very attentive waitress. Would definitely come back. loved the quiet atmosphere.
Food was excellent. Service a bit rushed. Nice evening with friends!!
Always a pleasant experience. The staff is very helpful without being intrusive.
I was disappointed in the service. We specifically picked your restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday. The food was wonderful. The service was slow and and twice we had to ask for something more than once before we received it. That was disappointing.
Great place! I will be eating there more often!!
Cod sandwich was well below par of this restaurant - one of my favorites!
Absolutely AMAZING dining experience! You must ask for Krasimira (aka Crassi)! She's wonderful!
They were out of ribeyes when we went. Had to settle for the fillet. The vegetables with the fillet were hard. The shrimp cocktail were not clean, they had loose scales on them and parts of the vein still on them. My wife’s lobster tails were over cooked and rubber. I felt like the server forgot about us several times.
Very good dining experience and the wine was excellent. The only downside was that we had dirty bread plates, but overall, very excellent service. We will be back
My wife and I have been here several times and the food and service were excellent. We typically go for special occasions and disappointed to see people in ball caps, camo and flip flops. Not sure if they were short handed with the staff but it took several minutes before we were given a glass of water or to take our drink order. There was a table across from us that waited about 10 minutes for water and menus. This is not typical but service seemed below average that night . The food was still good and would recommend.
The waiter was slow and forgetful the food was not up to their normal standards.
We generally drive to Denver once a month to dine here, the atmosphere, and food are well worth the trip. The service is always great this time our reservation was moved up because we arrived early. Would recommend as a great place to dine
Our server, Tricia, went over and above. She even found a 'vase' for the flowers we brought in for the birthday gal in our party!
Usually good but this time poor experience. Very poor service. Food fair at best and very loud
Granted I was there on a Friday night at 7pm, but the service was still very, very slow. It took almost 2 hours to get in and out and it was difficult to get anyone's attention. The oysters were fantastic, the salmon was a little bland. Overall it was fine, but not sure it's really worth the price.
We try to get to this M&S at least 3-4 times per year (worth the 75-mile drive from Fort Collins!) and wish we lived closer to eat here several times a month with friends and family! Always a superb menu, prompt service, thoughtful waitstaff, and a courteous maitre-d' who makes a gracious accommodation of my husband who has to bring his motorized wheelchair inside.
The food is average for the price. There are better seafood restaurants out there. We tried it during restaurant week and were not impressed.
Four of us enjoyed Restaurant Week. All three courses were enjoyed by all of us. It was easy to converse. Our food was delicious and well presented. This is one of our favorite places for Happy Hour.
Dinner with my wife. I do a lot of business lunches at M & S and have generally been pretty happy with everything. I took my wife to dinner there and had a very poor experience overall. Very Disappointing.
Service was a little slow. Food was ok. Really not very seasoned. We would have wanted more spices and flavor on our food
This place never disappoints. Great variety of seafood options and a fantastic Creme Brule that keeps my wife and I coming back again and again.
Over the last 20 years I have eaten at 6 or 7 McCormick&Schmick,s scores of times, including numerous times at this location. Past dinning experiences have always been excellent; not this time. Had a reservation but still steered to the bar for 15-20 minutes. Service was slow and we were treated to a sales presentation for Landry's restaurants. Lastly the food; small portions and over cooked - the worst thing you can do to seafood. Will not return!
There were five us and we had drinks at the bar before dinner in the dining room. The checks were mixed up (given to wrong person, credit to wrong person, wrong amounts) in both places and took a long time to correct. Landry's credit was not given on all five meals which I made a reservation for and was offered by the server and confirmed by the manager. I even called back the next day to leave him a message and never heard back.
We went for Denver Restaurant Week but the hostess didn’t give the special but the regular menu. I asked the server for it, as if it wasn’t promoted. Again I saw multiple times that the hostess didn’t give the guests the restaurant week menus.
We did the Denver restaurant week special and the food and service was excellent
Nothing went right. There is no parking around the establishment, so had to use the valet to park my car in a spot I drove past to get to the valet. Got seated at a table that had not been bussed and was full of food items on the table and floor. Asked to be moved and new table had same issue, other empty tables around had napkins on floor, it was just dirty. Bread was the best part of the meal. Soup was good. Veggies were undercooked, fish over cooked, mashed potatoes came out lukewarm. We went for restaurant week and they had run out of dessert. Really? We asked for a bill credit and got 10% off.
The restaurant was busy due to Denver Restaurant Week, but they were not taking no walk ins, reservations only. I would say the feeling of the restaurant did not seem welcoming, from the time we walked in the door. It took a long time to dine, too long, we were there over two hours. The Ahi was flavorless, "boring" was the word I heard at the table BUT the chowder was delicious.
We ordered dessert 3 times, as they kept running out of items, so they replaced other desserts in place, we asked for our dessert to go, as we were more than ready to leave.
Was disappointed with the service and available items. We ordered from a special menu and all was well. However, when it was dessert time 2 of the 3 choices were not available. So we ordered what was left. As we were leaving I noticed that the desserts that were not available to our party was being served to other dinners.
I felt that we were rushed to make an order but slow in bringing the food out. After ordering, I wanted to check on some items on the menu. I had to asked a couple of times for a menu before receiving one. There was no checking or follow up by the waiter. We had a party of 9 for a 50th anniversary party.
Simply not the McCormick & Schmicks it was downtown; once was a favorite. Not this one.
1st time to this location in CO, I have eaten at the one in Baltimore wharf and hope to return for more meals w/ friends. Thanks to Joe for making our evening nice, he was a very pleasant sever.
Great Waiter. Food portions small. Great atmosphere although we were by the kitchen. I had booked a table a month in advanced by the window at 5 pm but the said none were available
The King Crab legs were cold. The steak was amazing. There are much better steak house options in Denver.
