Seared Octopus appetizer was great and unique. We both enjoyed our salmon. Desert menu was limited. Recommend a bottle of wine. Waiter was very friendly.

Very insulted by the server. When we requested for additional bread as only 2 half loafs were provided for the party of 5, he said he will bring more WHEN we finished the original basket, which was not enough for the 5 of us to begin with. In addition, he spilled the food on us during packing. He noticed it but did not even apologized. Your restaurant has a horrible review on Yelp. In addition, your Tysons location has been shut down. This is very disturbing.

Service was exceptionally great. Our server went out of her way to assist and serve. Also, the manager visited our table to check on us.

Unfortunately, the wait service and the food was horrible. The waiter took about 10 minutes to finally greet us. Ordered cocktails about 5 minutes later waiter came back to ask us again what cocktails we ordered. Ordered food and the food seemed to be previously frozen. For the amount you pay it should be fresh or close to it. The salmon I ordered was supposed to be stuffed with crab and shrimp. It was only stuffed with crab and when asked the waiter if the salmon was stuffed with both he said no it’s only stuffed with crab. I asked for the menu and indeed it stated crab and shrimp. At the end of dinner ordered cappuccino in which it took 10 minutes to receive and it was luke warm. Spent $62.00 on food I could have easily received at a lower end restaurant. Extremely disappointed.

We eat at McCormick & Scmick's every year for Valentine's Day as our tradition. This was our fourth year coming to this location and while it was still an enjoyable evening, this year felt a little less special. I can appreciate the need to get as many customers in on a special day like Valentine's Day but there almost seemd to be too many people and often then service suffered.

We are Landry club members and come often but tonight was a total miss from timing to food especially dry steak to having to ask manager to check on food. A bit disappointed to say the least.

As a member of Landry’s Club and presenting the membership card, the host didn’t greet us or acknowledged us until he decided he was ready to check us in.
Previous experiences with the club, someone comes to your table to greet you and verify everything is ok, not in this occasion.
A five long inches hair was in my son’s burger, someone came to tell us that they were sorry and will follow up to replace the meal, that person never came back. After receiving the burger, we all had finished eating and he couldn’t eat any more.
No one came to offer any more drinks or offer any water I’m refills.
Honestly, we expected better for this class of restaurant.

Food was delicious. However, we all returned our soup because it was lukewarm. It came back properly hot. Server, Megan, was very good, friendly and caring. Long wait between courses. Recommend you have no other plans so you can relax despite the wait. Prices are reasonable for the food served.

We visited for valentine's day, our first time, our waitress was really good. She kept checking up on us and made sure we were satisfied. She would be on top of our list for returning. The food was amazing, but the high light of our visit were the drinks. I would definitely recommend here for anyone looking for a nice relaxed environment for a date or jut a place to feel at home.

I never miss McCormick and Schmick's when I visit DC. We first discovered this chain at 16 & K streets in DC and now have visited 18 different properties in different states. The seafood is always fresh and the crab cakes are great. I plan to visit another M & S in a different city in two weeks.

So, our waiter was nice, but he seemed to be off his game. It wasn’t busy, but we had to ask multiple times for simple things like sweetener. The food was good and the cost was reasonable. Would recommended.

Overall, we had a great time. The server was really nice and professional; however, very slow. We were the very first table in the restaurant and our appetizer came out cold, and food took almost an hour to come out. We also had to wait a long time for dessert, of which two were birthday desserts. For the money you pay, nothing should come out cold at all and there should be no extensive waits when you are the first table to sit.

Found Hair in my initial order although they did go get another order — I was still charged for the dish — incredible as the manager said we don’t compensate we just replace — wow — again there were 3 large strands of hair in my Cole slaw —

The customer service from the Assistant Manager on duty was awful — felt like I was negotiating to have a good meal and evening.

We visit M&S periodically for several reasons; the food is good, the prices are generally reasonable, and we can usually get a 1k point table. This visit was ok; good good, but the waiter was slow. I was a little bothered by the hostess who wanted to sit us near the bar while happy hour was in full swing and we were obviously there for a quiet dinner. After a short discussion, we cleared the issue up and were seated further back away from the noise. We’ll come back occasionally when the situation warrants a visit.

Overall experience was just okay. The food was mediocre and certainly not on par was the cost of the meal. My husband and I order two salads to start - mine did not have any salad dressing on it. Not a deal breaker as I was able to get some on the side and it was pretty good. Had to ask for bread which was either stale or just baked too long as it was very hard to eat. For our main meal, my husband order the Seared Hawaiian Tuna which we were told is flown in fresh from Hawaii every night. To say it was bland would be an understatement - it was only encrusted with sesame seeds but otherwise lacked total flavor. For my meal, I order the beef medallions which was cooked to my liking (medium rare) and the sauce was good, however, the spinach and mushrooms were not edible. It had no flavor and almost as if it had just been sitting in water. I asked if I could substitute asparagus for the mashed potatoes that came with the meal, but not only did I have to wait on the asparagus as it was forgotten, I also got charged over $5 for it. This was our second visit to M&S and will be our last. Too many chain restaurants overcharge these days for subpar food.

The Metro Washington Restaurant Week Dinner menu offered a very nice selection for a great price. Mrs' fish dish and my lobster dish were very tasty and cooked perfectly. Service was excellent. We make this restaurant one of our regular stops.

I went here today with a co worker for lunch since it was restaurant week. Sadly we had a very bad experience. My reservation was for 12:15pm. When we walked in the hostess was not at the front. We had to wait another 10 min to be seated. Then when we were seated and ordered, i was told the crab dip that was on the restaurant week menu was not available any longer. How do you run out of food at only 12:30pm during the day???!! This was the main reason i had come here. Then we waited over an HOUR for our food to arrive. Yes, an HOUR!! Keep in mind, my lunch break is only 1 hour. Then i asked for my desert to go with NO ice cream. WHy did they come out with my dessert in a bag and told me that they were all out of the dessert i had requested??? This is the 2nd time now. So they took it upon themselves to give me the creme brulee which i did not order or ask for. AND they put ice cream on it!! Long story short, i had the manage come out and they only took 20% off the check.

I was honestly underwhelmed by the quality of food and service. I came on Thursday night with my boyfriend and there was a clear lack of servers/hosts/hostesses/ waiters. We had a very attentive waiter the first half of the night who was a "trainee." We did not meet our actual server until later in the night when it was clear that the trainee went home. Our food was okay, but I was not really amazed by the quality for the price. My boyfriend's meat came out very very rare, and he prefers medium rare, so we had to send back the meal to be modified (first time I've ever had to send back a meal).

Overall not sure I would ever come back.

Went for Restaurant Week but ended up eating off the main menu. I really enjoyed the ambiance and the service. Nice window seat with great conversation from the waitress and manager! And I loved the Prosecco Sangria!

Exceptional service by our waitress who went out of her way to ensure my fiancee was served the excellent asparagus she really enjoys--no longer on menu--which is a MISTAKE. But our waitress asked chef and the asparagus served.

Worst McCormick ever... Bad service and management. We sat down at 6 pm and we didn't get our soup until 7 pm and of course, it was ice cold... I ordered steak (med-rare) and, it was colder than the soup... When we called the waiter we told her not to rewarm it in the microwave guess what, they threw it into the microwave and brought it back, steak still cold plate is burning. it was the worst night ever. I or anyone I know will never go to this place...
