We were celebrating our anniversary. Food and drinks were excellent. Our waiter Brett was terrific.
Lovely as always. One of our favorites, the Seafood Mixed Grill with a side dish is a great option to share. Love the seafood here, even though you would think of this as a steak place. Celebrated my husbands 60th birtday. They acknowledge the birthday without having a restaurant full of people sing or bring attention to us - which was nice.
We were a party of 6, celebrating two birthdays. We were a few minutes late for our reservation, but as the restaurant was barely 1/4 full, it was no problem. Husband ordered a vodka/water with ‘lots of lemon’, and what arrived was a vodka with a dry pale lime. Waitress recommended ‘Wahoo with Pesto’, which two of us ordered, and when it arrived, I tried to cut it with a fork, but it was too dry to do so. I ate about 1/4 of he fish, but then decided it wasn’t worth the calories. The other person who ordered it said it was also very dry, but she was too hungry not to eat it. I didn’t want anything else so we just asked for mine to be taken off our check, which it was. I’d Stick to bar food and cocktails if I return again.
Very very very slow service. Bar service slow. Meet and greet quick. Just because we wait does not mean we spend more.
It was EXTREMELY SLOW service. They were busy, but I have to believe that’s the norm for that restaurant. They should be able to handle that. Our waiter was wonderful, attentive, and kept apologizing for how long it was taking to get our food. The food was good, not great, for the price we paid. I don’t think we’ll be returning anytime soon. There’s plenty of other restaurants in Columbus to choose from.
Hostesses were very pleasant and quickly got us to our seats. The place was maybe 25% occupied on a Friday night at what is normally busy dinner time. After being seated, no waiters or any other staff acknowledged us, poured waters, or anything. It was like we weren't even there. With such a bizarre experience we decided to leave and go to Smith & wollensky, where the food and service (as well as the cocktails) were top notch. Don't waste your time on this place.
Once again, spot on food and great service. Reccomend eating early if you go on the weekend, so that the restaurant doesn't get busy which raises the volume. Request a booth when you reserve if possible. My husband travels for work, so when we eat out, we like to sit and talk. Never feel pushed when we come here for dinner! What I really love about this restaurant is they truly under stand the concept of dining out vs. eating out.
They always deliver good food
Easter ......nice restaurant....but nothing mg special and prices were high for what we got
It was our special Easter dinner out and this is one of our favorite places to eat. Not that day! Our waiter was great, but our pricey meal was stone cold. We received new dinners after a lengthy wait. Yes, it was a holiday.... but disappointing. We were not comped for anything either. Might go back.
We arrived a little early for our reservation but was seated right away. It was very noisy in the area we were seated but it was Easter and there were several large parties with children so not unexpected.
The food was awesome, the wait staff very friendly and efficient. All in all a really great experience, but then I've never been disappointed dining there.
We went to McCormick and Schmick’s for Easter brunch. The service was okay, but the food was subpar. The eggs were cold, the biscuits and gravy were inedible and the fruit was going bad. Overall all of our experiences at Landry’s restaurants have been poor. We won’t be visiting again.
There was a large party sitting in front of us that started getting louder & louder as the drinks were refilled.
Great food. A little pricey.
The food was great!... asparagus could have been cooked a little long lol seem like they were picked, warmed for 30 seconds then served. My server sent them back to be cooked over and they were wonderful! Although the crab cake appetizers were a bit expenseive ($15.50) just for one. I feel the price should be dropped to $10.00, that’s more reasonable. My dinner was the Alaska King Crab Legs... delicious 😋 just make sure they’re hot.. mine was warm but I ate them fast lol and the last leg and a half (3 legs cut down the middle which equlals to 6) were super cold...
The server was AWESOME (he’s my server every time I visit) I will always tip him $15 and more
Food and ambience was great. Our service at happy hour -bar tender was rude and did not want to serve us. The food at dinner tasted great, our waiter would not keep water in glasses nor did one of our guest even have water, things we asked for we never received. Just very disappointed in the service! This issue has been referred to the corporate office.
The food was delicious and the service was great. Sunday night was very calm and the dessert was especially good.
Had a great dinner date with a great waiter. Can't complain about a thing. Signed up for the Laundry's card as well. Seems like it will be a good thing to have.
This was our first experience. Wife had Salmon, I had the Seafood Trio. Both dishes were incredible! Saved room for dessert. She had the chocolate bag, and I had the upside down apple pie. Absolutely spectacular.
Wait staff was very attentive, and fun.
Probably one of the best restaurant experiences both of us have had in a while. GO! You won’t be disappointed.
My wife and I went to celebrate our Anniversary. The service was 1st rate, and the food was spectacular. The price is a little beyond our reach, but it was a great experience for our anniversary.
Very nice place for dinner.
Salmon Pesto was amazing
Great food and service
Made a Saturday evening reservation thinking it would be required; however, arrived to find the restaurant fairly open. Busy through the peak dining hour and then dead -- very surprising. I've always had a good experience here and wondered 'where are all the other diners?' Has Easton fallen out of fashion?
The food was great as always. And the service was excellent!
I love this restaurant, if I want a nice dinner. Our waiter was wonderful and we didn't feel rushed, like he was trying to turn over the table. Food was amazing.
Good food and service. Was seated immediately. Nice atmosphere and not too loud.
The ribeye was of poor quality. It may have been a select cut but certainly not choice or prime. The rub used was of a salt base, enough salt that it was as if the meat was being prepared for storage.
I feel it was too loud. Could not hear my wife talking to me.
Great ambiance, great service! We all enjoyed our meals and wine and fell in love with the chocolate purse filled with white chocolate mouse dessert!
Just a small issue with the wait for a server because of the shift change but overall a wonderful experience as usual
The waitress didn’t seem interested in really waiting on us. The food was super salty and the dessert was cold ( we ordered the bread pudding). Overall, not great!
Best salmon I have ever had!! Great ambience for a date and great wine list!
Good food good service. That says it all.
The overall experience was wonderful. We were celebrating my husband’s new job and my son being home from college.
Food was good but it took a little long to get our entrees.
Could improve on quantity. For the price you didn't get as much as expected.
This was our first visit to the Columbus area and we choose to eat dinner at McCormick’s this evening. The area were the restaurant is located is very nice and modern and the restaurant is located right on the corner with a nice view of the area. I ordered the Surf-&-Turf and the steak was a nice size and tasted fantastic, but my Lobster tail was smaller then I anticipated, I was very surprised by this since this restaurant is part of the Landry’s chain who usually provides good quality meals as well as good portions! Don’t know what happened here, but I will probably not be returning to this particular restaurant when I return to the Columbus area.
