We were celebrating a birthday. Our server, Debra was FANTASTIC! She made great recommendations, and provided outstanding service. She was delightful and very attentive to our dining needs. We want to ensure she gets the recognition she deserves. This is the type of service that keeps us coming back.
The salmon was very fishy smelling stuffed with crab. We ordered a drink at the bar and was told it was only served table side because it has to be “presented”???
I haven’t been there in a few years should have stuck with Cameron Mitchell’s restaurants.
Our server was very friendly. Forgot a couple items and had to be reminded. Did not find the food to be all that great for the cost. Will not go back.
Everything was great, especially the food.
The food was good, ordered filet mignon with lobster, along with calamari, lobster bisque soup. The lobster mashed potato was a disappointment but rest of the food was good. The water was a bit slow in getting to our table for re-fills, etc.
Though it was not our first choice, we were fortunate to find an available reservation on OpenTable and we really did end up enjoying our experience. Not somewhere we would have typically brought our kids but the kids menu featured items they enjoyed so that worked out well. My wife and I both enjoyed a house salad then she had salmon and I had cobia...both were cooked well and sides were good pairings for the dishes. The kids also enjoyed the berries in a bag dessert very much.
Our waiter was extremely pleasant. He said he was new but you couldn't tell from our service. The ambiance was perfect for our anniversary dinner date. Keep up the good work.
My shrimp were pretty good but my boyfriend got the chicken pasta and it was pretty gross. The chicken was so thin and over cooked and the noodles were super al dente. We waited about 20 minutes after we were done eating for boxes and a check. For 90 bucks for two entrees and an appetizer I would expect a little more from it. Will probably not be back.
Delicious! Loved our waitress and the food. Pricey, but worth it!
It wasn’t bad. Our waitress was great. Food took forever to make and there wasn’t many people, all-in-all, it was good. I’d go again.
Anniversary dinner. Food was remarkable however even for M&S, it was significantly overpriced. $10 cup of coffee?
This was quite possibly the WORST dining experience we have ever had as a family. It took 28 minutes after we were seated to get our drinks - which consisted of water and lemonade. Both our bread and salad arrived to the table before our drinks. It took 3 requests to get our drinks delivered. Our meals took forever to get to the table and then our server disappeared. We were never offered refills for our drinks or even checked on after our meals were dropped off. We even had to track down the server to get the check. We will never dine here again as no one seemed even partially interested in customer service. Plenty of other amazing restaurants in the area to support.
Started off a little shaky b/c it was Valentine’s Day wknd, and even though I had a reservation, still had to wait almost 30 mins b/c they were behind on reservations. When we got sat, everything was great! Our waiter was great, the food was amazing! 😋I definitely enjoyed my dinner, and highly recommend giving them a try if you haven’t.
Waited 40 minutes after having reservations. Overall wouldn’t go back.
Everything started out great, appropriate attention from server, drinks, order taken, small talk, etc.. Later our main dishes were delivered by another staff member, I advised that I had ordered fries and not mashed potatoes (hence the bowl of ketchup delivered with the plate). He said he would check with kitchen see if fries were there. He never returned with any information or the fries. Likewise, from the time our appetizer plates were removed and the long 15-20 minutes that passed prior to our dinner being brought to the table, we did not see our server Rob for at least 30-40 minutes until we asked another server to please bring our checks along with some water that had been empty the entire time our dinner was on the table.
Limited menu due to Valentine's weekend. We were disappointed by that, and perhaps due to crowding, the food was not outstanding. The sea bass could have been any white fish swimming in broth. Veggies cold on the other dish.
We celebrated Valentine’s Day on Saturday. Our meal was great & our server was wonderful!! Could not ask for a better dining experience.
Valentines Day. Busy but their were always a table someone could be seated at. Hostesses were too busy talking and messing with their hair to notice. Our waitress NEVER checked on how our dinner was. She was too busy making drinks table side. Salmon was dry and New York strip was tough, more fat then a normal stripe and had NO flavor.
After our first visit we thought this would be a go to place, but after the second visit, nope. Major let down. Won’t be returning.
We had a reservation, yet when we arrived we were told there would be a half hour wait. Not sure why they take reservations if they are going to make people wait. When we did get a table it was in the banquet room. Our server had to take care of our table plus tables in the dining room. So our table was the last of her tables to get drinks from the bar...
Omg the food was amazing!! My favorite was the shrimp kisses! My waiter was sooooooo nice. Me and my boyfriend had a booth with curtains it was so intimate and sooo nice!
Valentine’s Day with my husband
Made reservations 3.5 weeks out, still had a 30+ min wait when arriving on time.
Our Valentines Day dinner at McCormick + Schmicks was disappointing. We had an early reservation, but were seated in an overflow room with no ambiance. Our server was attentive; however our food was disappointing. My steak was dry and my husband thought his shrimp were smaller than they should have been for the price. Will probably not return.
Disappointed in this restaurant. We made reservations and were told that there was a happy hour menu only in the bar area. We asked if we could sit in the bar area and the receptionist said she would try her best. When we got there (4:45) we sat in the bar area and asked for the happy hour menu. We were told that it’s Valentine’s Day and they are doing an different menu ($$$$$). I said we were told earlier in the week that there was a happy hour menu and the waiter said no not tonight. Food was eh.
Four of us were seated at a table which was better for 2, in fact only 2 places were set. Next to us, 2 people were later seated at a table for 6 - strange. Order was mixed up, check was mixed up. None of it was a deal breaker not to go back, just expected better from M&S. Also, upcharge to get spinach instead of green beans seemed ridiculous.
We came in for a Valentines Day dinner the night before. Our appetizer was amazing!!! We ordered the buttermilk fried sea scallops. They were served on a bed of vinegar based slaw. We loved them! Dinner was a different surprise. My boyfriends dinner was excellent! He ordered the special filet Oscar style with crabmeat with roasted vegetables and red pepper mashed potatoes. It was all delicious! However my food was not as good. I ordered the Ultimate Grill and all the seafood was overcooked especially the salmon. They gave me another piece but only really good item on the plate was the crab cake and grilled asparagus. The stuffed and grilled shrimp were overdone and the salmon was over done. The service was AMAZING but I was disappointed with the seafood.
McCormick & Schmick's is our go to restaurant for special occasions. This visit was our Valentine's dinner. The restaurant was very busy, but our food and service was great as always.
More expensive than our usual choices, but wonderful for a special occasion. We were celebrating both my wife's birthday and Valentines Day a day early to avoid the crowded situation that is usual on the holiday and it was perfect.
The hostesses were great. The food was very tasty and the portion was very good. The waitress was very nice but just a little slow. We had to flag her down a couple of times. Once to order and then for some silverware. She was very nice just needed to be a little more attentive.
The food was amazing. I LOVED the shrimp and grits. The service was awful. It appeared there was only one server in the whole restaurant. We waited and waited to order, when the food finally came it was cold. The manager fixed it but then we waited and waited for her to finish taking orders serving other tables. Finally after not being able to find her I went to the kitchen staff for a to go box!!!!! Food great, service no so much.
Kitchen was very slow and selections of fish were already out at 630. It was very noisy and the food was awful
Went for our wedding anniversary. Had a great experience. Food was delicious and we had a wonderful server. I wish I could remember her name. Cocktails were very well done as well. Had the scallops and ordered a side of grilled asparagus which was delicious. Totally recommend it.
The service was adequate. We waited for drinks and refills on water. The food was delicious but scallops not as seared to the point I would like. I would chose another main dish next time. Wine was good but marked up more than double that what you’d buy at the store. I would definitely go for the food again.. the desert was to die for!
A special.meal to celebrate a granddaughter's achievement.
Despite their ages 6 and 3 they ate grilled shrimp and tenderloin medallions.
Our meals were expertly prepared and the service was perfect
Everything was great!
A bit pricey
Food was Ok asked for a medium steak came out close to rare
Seafood special was over cooked seared should not be like steak cooked
Service was great from Matthew
That was about all I could say was good
I made reservations for my boyfriend's and my 1st date anniversary. I called the restaurant and asked if the table could be separated from others. He said yes. He asked if it was for a special occasion. I said yes. He asked if I wanted a message on their menu, as it is printed daily. I gave him the message. Our dinner was super delicious and our service was outstanding. We felt like royalty. They helped make our evening special.
Reserved easily on Open Table; table was ready. Drinks and water brought quickly. Food was delicious; fried shrimp (generous portion). I love French fries, but these were too salty.
My wife order lunch special and she got bad muscles in the food. They don’t even offer replacement. I will not go there again. She could get a food position.
