    For the price you’d expect better food and attention to detail. My food was bland and my husband $48 steak was rare and he asked for medium well. Sides were basic.

    I chose McCormick & Schmick only because I had a gift certificate - I'd never been to this restaurant. But I will definitely be back. No negatives, all positives. Our waitress, Jill, was attentive but gave us the room to engage in conversation and take our time. The food was wonderful and delivered hot. Never had the "Shrimp Kisses" (appetizer), but will ask for them again. My halibut was hot and moist, lightly seasoned, and with spinach and baby carrots. My colleague had the bourbon salmon and raved also that it came out hot, very moist, and with a great glaze. Kudos also to the bartender who made excellent cocktails for us. And it's always a nice touch when the manager stops by to ask how we are doing. We parked under Fountain Square which was easy and only a few steps from the restaurant. Things could not have gone better. This is a great place.

    We were 1 of 3 tables on a Friday afternoon. We had an RSVP. Seated 10 minutes late, took 20 minutes to get our drinks. Waited over an hour for food. Server disappeared several times. No manager checked on us. Very disappointing.

    We always enjoy our food and drinks but we chose to sit on the patio and the constant stinch of marijuana was too much.
