It was very pleasant and great atmosphere. The service was outstanding. We definitely will be back and highly recommend this place.
Was impressed as soon as we walked in the door with a warm welcome. Food and service was outstanding, would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Great experience. From the food to the service everything was grade A. Our servicer Nick was awesome had great suggestions and made it a great experience. Cheers to a great time!
Sunday Lunch in downtown Chicago, we did not expect such high-quality service. Our waitress was very friendly and explained and answered our menu questions. We had the fish and chips, shrimp. The food quality was very good and we enjoy the friendly vibrant atmosphere. My daughter is attending SAIC and we will return again soon as long as Chicago restaurants remain open.
A good meal. High prices, but the experience is always pleasant.
The food was amazing! Perfect ambience and the server was very nice. Will def dine there again.
Outstanding as always! Excellent service and cocktails prepared by Dwight!
VERY GOOD FOOD, NICE WAITER AND OUTSTANDING SERVICE.
It was awesome. I enjoyed the fact that I could dine inside.
Went for my daughters 12 year birthday for lunch and the food was amazing.
Excellent 3 course meal mixed seafood grill. I had clam chowder soup 🍲, crab cakes, cobia fish, crab stuffed shrimp, mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables, 2 sauces, creme brulee with raspberries for dessert plus 2 glasses sauvignon blanc wine. Enough for leftovers, large portions. Delicious.
Our server was amazing, he was friendly, attentive and confident in his suggestions of the menu items. The restaurant was a short walk from our hotel, we were greeted upon entering and was seated immediately. The food was outstanding. We will definitely visit again on our next trip to Chicago.
Awesome romantic place very very nice waiters and waitresses and awesome food
The first turn off was the lack of parking and the absence of valet parking. It would have been nice to have that info prior to the actual reservation. After finally finding a parking garage about two blocks away, the concierge was everything but friendly. My wife and I were gravely underwhelmed by the food. The steaks were seasoned well; however, the options for sides were limited. Asparagus came with our steaks, we ordered the roasted potatoes and spinach. The sides were awful. Our server was rather “forgetful” which made our experience annoying. This was our first time here but definitely our last.
The food was really good my waiter was missing a lot and the place wasn’t packed and where we was sitting was horrible waitress hit my chair with the water carrier
Our food was cold and under-seasoned. It also came pretty late. We were the 3rd party into the restaurant. We won’t be back to this location.
Everything we ordered was barley warm and the food wasn’t the best especially for the price.
The ambiance was nice but my sea bass was not prepared well and portion size was small.
Terrible service, okay food. They rushed us the minute we got there. We had to flag down our waiter multiple times because he never came by once to even say “how is everything” or refill waters. He forced us to order our meal once we sat down and then while we were eating our ENTREE he brings us dessert and the check and says nothing then leaves. We were there only for 30 MINUTES and we were rushed to eat appetizers, entree, dessert and a bottle of wine. How terrible. No one ever said if we were doing okay, no one ever asked if we needed anything else. Just rushed us the whole night. I understand it is covid and we only get an hour and a half or whatever but come on! 30 minutes???? So rude. I will be telling friends and family about this experience for sure. My husband and I actually wanted to get another bottle of wine and maybe some oysters as well but NOPE the waiter gave us the check and practically kicked us out. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!
Let’s start off by saying how great the food was. Steak and lobster tail was by far the best I have had in chgo. We went on Saturday the 13th. The atmosphere was great dimmed lighting soft music the whole place smelled like romance. The only problem I had encountered was with the front desk girl. My wife and I entered and forgot our masks. We had to fight traffic getting into the place due to no VALET. The girl at the front desk raised her voice at us and was completely unprofessional. After they offered to sell us a unpackaged mask I declined and said no thanks I will go back to the car and grab our masks. Other than that mean ignorant girl being so irrational the place is five star in my eyes.
Date night with my Honey. McCormick & Schmick’s was our restaurant. But because of the extreme prices for the meals as well as for the alcohol, we won’t be back for a while. The stuffed salmon wasn’t stuffed...meaning the portion was very small with a lot of sauce. The quality and service are horrible. Ambience is horrible.
The food is good, but more of a red lobster vibe at a mark up. Keep walking to Morton’s if you want a fine dining experience at the same price point. I know they are both Landry’s, so this MS may of just lost their way
The ambiance was nice and quiet. The staff was very accommodating and courteous. It was my birthday and they made sure we were taken good care of.
It was great as always, food is amazing and service was spot on! Great work team :-)
The heat was out, it was very cold. Had we known the heat was out, probably wouldn’t made reservations. They offered us free clam chowder because it was cold. I don’t eat clam chowder. Did ask to be discounted but was not. My favorite dish lobster Mac and cheese was not available. I’ve had better experiences this on was just a bad one.
Everything was very good. The only complaint is that the restaurant was extremely cold and we were in a booth at the back of the restaurant. Also it would have been nice if the crab legs were half peeled seeming that they are very spikey.
There was no heat in the restaurant and they didn’t offer to give us some money back
The food was delicious and arranged beautifully! The restaurant was awesome but a little chilly.
Went for the first time on Date night with My Love. Great service & food. It was snowing and no parking but the manager made sure we had a great park
The food was delicious. The place was freezing and we were told the heat was turned off last night . The climate felt like you were eating outdoors insides the restaurant.
Great service and thoroughly enjoyed the food. I will be back!
I loved this place, up until today! First issue, when we got our drinks, they were flat. co2 was out for 3 months and now they are using the same co2 since the shut down happened! I felt they rushed down our food because not only the salmon was uncooked when asked we were told they can not replace it. Along with we didn't get our refills on drink nor the desert was offered! BAD MAN!!!
Was a refreshing evening out. Staff was very conscious in the current situation. Patrons were trying to be good with their mask.
Had reservations for my daughter’s birthday. Ambience was good. I forgot the hostess name but he was very attentive. I ordered 2 crab cakes, Clam Chowder, Patron Margarita, Stuffed Salmon all was delicious. I also ordered strip steak, Macaroni & Cheese the Steak was cooked medium well.. but I bit down in too much fat. They only offer Mac & Cheese from the kids menu. I didn’t like the Mac & cheese. Also when I made the reservation they offered valet parking but when I arrived I was told they didn’t offer valet parking anymore due to the recent rioting, So we had to go find parking & only thing available is Parking Garage $40 to park for about 1 hour and a half, after parking we have about a 2 block walk.
The Service, food and drinks were very good me and my wife really enjoyed!!
We enjoyed every aspect of our dinner. Our waiter was amazing! Thank you!!
Amazing dessert!!!!! Overall it’s a nice place. The food is good. There are several places in the area that offer the same, the quality of service changes with price point in this area. The place is a mid-range price, the atmosphere is very comfortable, dim lighting. Comfortable music, It really sets that dinner tone. The only issue I had was the server, we felt very rushed and he didn’t mention how they cooked their Salmon which is medium rare. the hostess apologized and became our server for the rest of the evening. Not a bad place, the drinks were great.
The waiter was not attentive to our needs. He gave us what we ordered, Never hung around to see if we needed anything... refills etc. Plus he gave us our check before we asked for anything else. I felt rushed and watched.
The waiter seemed preoccupied and made our experience seem rushed. The food was not hot and even upon exchanging the mash potatoes, it was still only warm. Not worth the $200 we spent.
Our waiter was very nice and recommended some great items that the restaurant is famous for
