The food tastes great but was not hot. It was luke warm at best. The restaurant was very busy and much louder than I expected.
Food was really great. Excellent taste!
Our waiter Matt and trainee Jordan, made the evening meal very satisfying. His timing was superb. Meal was good and the oysters Delightful!
We visited on 4/14/18 for my husbands birthday. We had the best time, and the food was awesome. Our service was wonderful. We can not wait to come back.
long wait and over cooked steaks
Waiter slow, food poor....overall very disappointing
Restaurant was not 25% full and service was awful. Never got a refill of tea nor was our drinks delivered before our soup. Could not get our check asked three different people as waitress never came back to table. Either staff was new and not terrines or service is just gone bad at this location.
My coworkers and I had a marvelous time on Saturday night. We drove up from GA for the weekend. Great Food. Great Price. Great Atmosphere.
Some of our meal had been prepared ahead of time and reheated. Not a good dollar value for the food portions or quality.
This was our second visit and this time we had a full meal, instead of the previous time of appetizer's only. The food was fantastic and the server was great as well. The management came by twice to check on us and seemed willing to do anything they could to make the experience perfect.
In town for the weekend and decided to try something different. The food was amazingly fresh and delicious. And or waiter was magnificent!!
While our overall experience was fine, it wasn't great. The service was very slow. The food was lukewarm, but tasted fine.
Went here for a late dinner date. It was not very busy at the time so we were seated quickly. Our waiter was very attentive throughout the entire night and provided excellent customer service. The food was phenomenal overall. The only complaint is that the salmon was slightly over cooked. But other than that everything was great. Will definitely return here for another visit.
Everything was awesome, the location is great, the food, service and valet were astounding!!!
Really good food and excellent service. Will be back!
The music was terrible! We have dined here many times and the horrible 90s rock music that was being played made the whole experience feel much cheaper and dive-bar-like soundtrack took away from the regularly pleasant, upscale vibe the restaurant usually has. We typically have a great experience and hope this was just a one-off.
Great Uptown location.
We are from out of town and had tickets to a 4 p.m. show and so we came to Charlotte early for brunch. Not a lot of options for steak at 1 pm on Sunday in uptown. We gave this a try and we probably would not go again. The food was not bad but it was just ok. The service was also just ok. With so many wonderful restaurants in Charlotte, I can't see ever returning to a "OK" restaurant. Nothing remarkable about this dining experience. Pros: Great location to events, quite atmosphere. Cons: Food was bland, protein portions were small, starches are not served with the steak dishes, wrong steak was made and served, service was not what you would expect at an upscale restaurant.
The food was outstanding, it came quickly, the hostess was amazing, the waitress was knowledgeable and helpful, a wonderful dining experience
Went for our wedding anniversary dinner.
The swordfish steak with crabmeat was outstanding! The shrimp kisses were to die for! We also enjoyed the upside down apple pie with pecans and cinnamon ice cream! Our server took good care of us .
Food and service wasn't very impressive and service. Second waiter took over our table and told us first server left and went home due to an emergency. A few minutes later the first waiter was waiting on the table immediately behind ours. Food was disappointing and the service was even worst than the food.
My partner’s entree was not cooked properly. We requested medium well steak and it came out with a cold center and definitely rare. By the time server bothered to check back she offered to cook the last two remaining bites of the steak. My date just didn’t want to be rude and have me eat alone while his food was being refired. Instead of simply owning up to the mistake, the waitress rudely interrupted our dinner conversation by showing us she put in the ticket right, unfortunately this not only interrupts our dining experience, but it doesn’t absolutely nothing about the issue. She was just more concerned about being tipped at this point. When paying for the check, I show the server the Landry’s card number and she just walks away with my phone without even saying anything which again was off putting. Despite all this I know folks need a working wage and we left her 20% tip, however I will not be back. There are far too many choices in Charlotte that offer great food and service.
Hostess was rude but once we got past her, service was excellent. Food was good but nothing special. Not on the same level as the Capital Grill.
I have eaten in this brand restaurant before and they are very good all around and that is why my expectation is high when I visit any of their locations. Based on that expectation, this location disappointed in all levels. The food was fair at best. The appetizer was tasty because when your wrap anything in bacon it will taste like bacon but it completely killed the shrimp and it was way overcooked. I order a lobster bisque and it was a disaster, cold, not creamy and very oily, it looked like it was sitting there for ages. Then I order a salmon dish and it was so over cooked that it completely killed the fish. As far as service, our server was extremely attentive and personable but it didn't matter much when there was only 3 tables occupied in the whole restaurant and it took 30 to 45 minutes to deliver each dish.
Great place for outdoor seafood tapas during happy hour. Service was outstanding.
Good food. We ended up arriving early and were easily accommodated.
Some things weren’t available at 5, like bread.
Our assistant server was attentive and our server made up for a miss by the kitchen with a complimentary dessert that my husband and nephew enjoyed.
We love this restaurant but may not show up quite as early again.
A little disorganized and limited menu for NCAA tournament. Slowish service. Not up to usual standard but still good.
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere - will definitely go back!
We eat here fairly regularly, say once a month or so, when we have theater or symphony tickets. This meal was probably the best we've had there. Imported Nova Scotia salmon, grilled to perfection, beets, root vegs & asparagus. Really great food. The wine pick, a Pinot Noir, was also great. Thank you Mc-S.
Terrible place! Took forever to serve and bring food! Food was mediocre and service terrible!
I had the saffron salmon. It was excellent. I'm very picky about Seafood. The Truffle and chive mashed potatoes were awesome. Fantastic dinner
Super slow service. Had to wait forever to get served/refill order on drinks/etc. We asked for dessert menu and it took 20min to come to us....at that point we just said we want to the check so we could leave. The place was empty as well....maybe that's the reason.
Had a good experience, we had a good waitress, she wanted to make sure we were pleased with everything! Food was good. I would come back soon!
Food and wine were very good! I recommend! highly. Price was reasonable!
Overall McCormick’s was a great dinning experience for my wife and I. The fish and Chips was cooked perfectly.
It was a pleasure to dine and be able to hear everyone at the table! Great food and great service
I love the atmosphere! Many choices on the menu for both meat and fish, and everything very nicely prepared. Good choice of wines. Surprisingly fast service, so it's easy to go 90 minutes ahead of your show time and still have a leisurely dinner.
Grilled, broiled, and pan seared are the option for the snapper; however, I wanted blackened snapper, and the chef honored my request. The snapper was turned out lovely. My date enjoyed the beef medallions, and expressed her satisfaction, too.
