One of the most reliable good dining experiences you can have in CLT. We love it and will be back again for their great fish menu....creative and delicious!
Lovely staff! Too much on my plate, maybe consider half portions.
Wow, great dinner with delicious food, good wine and very friendly staff. We will come back.
Great food, great people, great service, will be back again soon.
Crab cake is amazing!
Good lunch experience as always. Samuel was fantastic. He made sure the meal was perfect. The blacked salmon was delicious.
We loved the small plate options and variety of dishes prepared with fish and seafood. Our waiter was knowledgeable and aptly attentive. I've eaten at others locations of this restaurant but found the South Park location my favorite.
Late night cocktails and appetizers. Food was delicious and service was excellent.
A nice quiet Friday lunch with my wife.
Fantastic food but becoming quite pricey.
Long wait for food after order. Preparation of salmon was not as requested . Waited another 20 minutes to have it redone and still not as requested .
McCormick and Schmicks at South Park was excellent for our Easter meal. I had my mother’s 90th birthday for 25 in their dining room and we go for Thanksgivings and Easter’s. I highly recommend them.
Service was good.
Food was average. Mine main dish was so salty, I could not finish even I was so hungry. My wife’s was the same.
Below average and coming from the Naples McCormick food and service was disappointing at the South Park location. We were there a few weeks age and at that time burgers weren’t quality as other McCormicks. Saturday night I had King Crab legs and my husband had lobster tails. Portions were small and dry tasting. Service was below average. We felt neglected as we believe he must have been trying to do close out work
Great dinner on the patio with friends! Fun and affordable happy hour menu from 5-7 weekdays. Plus great drink specials.
The special was lobster....and they were out. But never took down the sign. Otherwise, food was delish and we’ll def be back.
Thoroughly enjoyed my birthday celebration in a private “snug”. Highly recommended!
Service was wonderful. Food was good. Side portions are very small for the price. Actually I felt as if everything was a little overpriced. Overall we enjoyed ourselves. We had never been so we wanted to check it off our list.
Food was good but not worth the price.
Shanay the bartender was great. We had a few drinks before our guests arrived.
We drove from Charleston SC to have a birthday dinner for my fiancé. When I made reservations I specified that in the special notes section. Eli called me to confirm my reservations and also noted they would do something special. That never happened. I was disappointed and quite embarrassed when I also shared that with my guests. I spent 200.00 for my drinks and my fiancé’s drinks and our dinner also. We left disappointed
We enjoyed ourselves. Never disappointing.
The food was very good. My wife had the lobster special - two tails for $30 and I had the seared scallops for $32. I was very surprised to find only four scallops on a bed of spinach and potatoes. The cost was a little more than expected.
Was in town and stopped here for dinner before a evening party. Food was great and Taylor our waiter was excellent. Will stop in here again the next time when visiting Charlotte South Park!
Food had no flavor service were really bad, I paid $30 for 4 tiny pieces of tuna and 2 spoons of rice , overpriced and not worthy of your time and money
Customer service was excellent!
This was the first time I've been to M & S in a while. The service was top notch as always, but the food quality has declined since my last visit. I started with the lobster bisque and the bisque itself was fine, but the chunks of did not taste fresh at all. They had an ammonia-like aftertaste that told me it was less than fresh lobster meat. For my entree I had the almond crusted trout. It came with mixed vegetables and orzo pasta. There was zero seasoning on anything on my plate. I could literally not tell the difference between one bite and the next. It was extremely bland and the fish was somewhat oily. I ate half the food and brought the rest home where I re-seasoned everything and sautéed it together as a hash and the taste was greatly improved. Lastly, we ordered a slice of raspberry cheesecake for dessert. Again, the item tasted like it had quite a bit of age on it and I only ate one and a half bites. I could not abuse my tastebuds any further. It's a shame because the prices and location of this restaurant indicate that the food should be much much better. On a positive note, Chad, our waiter, was exceptional.
We took friends with us who also enjoyed M&S. Me, I always get the fried shrimp tho I do wish the locations down here would start offering the Chesapeake Clam Chowder offered by ones in northern Virginia.
Wonderful. I refer clients all the time.
Food was great. Waiter and Service excellent. Upon arrival at the hostess stand the lady and gentleman told me that they did not have our reservation which I had made through Open Table and had the confirmation email and number in hand. First they said I must have made it at the wrong location and then when I showed them that I had not, they said they had this problem quite often with Open Table. They then said they could seat us as they had plenty of open tables. If they had just taken this approach initially it would not have taken the edge off the festive mood and excitement we had about dining for my wife's birthday, which it did. Not a professional greeting for sure, luckily as I said it was balanced out by the waiter and chef's excellent performance. We have used Open Table many times in different cities with no problem, but would not use for this restaurant again, if we revisit.
Great seafood, especially in-land. King crab legs were delicious. Service was great, thorough but not bothersome.
The food & service were excellent! It was a special occasion and the staff made the 85 year old birthday girl feel very special.
We had appetizers and dinner. The food (all types of seafood) was very good and the service was timely and professional.
Great place to eat. Service was good and the food was excellent. Easy access parking made the trip a total success.
I love there was an option to eat in private . Perfect place for a business meal . Service was excellent!
We were here to celebrate my husband’s birthday and everything was great. Our waiter, Taylor, was very friendly and efficient and always had a smile on his face. The food and the service were exceptional! We had not been to this restaurant in a while and will be back! We are glad that we came here for the birthday celebration!
We have been to McCormick and Schmicks in San Francisco and Philadelphia. They both are much more elegant and the food much better. We were very disappointed in this location of the restaurant. We are not a Landry's fan, but we have enjoyed McCormick locations before this one. I hope that it is not Landry's management changing their upper end chain for the worse.
Our server was awesome! Sweet girl, it was our first visit . I will definitely plan our next date night here.
They were out of seared tuna. My bourbon grilled salmon was about a 2 oz serving. Left hungry. Server was very nice & attentive. Food was disappointing.
Brought our parents in for dinner. Just a treat for us all.
Great service. Food was perfectly prepared and quite delicious.
Excellent food. Great happy hour deals. Happy hour only in the bar.
