Very nice! Food was delicious and service was very pleasant.
The food was great but my wife who wanted half her meal to go into a to go box was taken by our server and thrown away instead of giving it to us to take home. I spent over $100 on the meal and it was very disappointing to have this happen.
The food wasn’t great for the price. Won’t go back to this location.
It was a nice experience.
The food was good. It’s restaurant week so we had set menu and it was husbands birthday. All tasty. My mums appetizer and mine came out before my husbands and was disappointed that he had to wait a while. I know how busy it gets. Our server Julie was very good and it was nice she recognized us from the times we had been before.
we were there for our 50th wedding anniversary and we couldn't have picked a better place! Very memorable evening💕
Great meal, and great service.
Excellent food and service. Highly recommend!!!!!!!
Sorry McCormick’s yet another bad dining experience. Your food is over-priced for the quality. Muscles were cold and the sauce was too salty. Service was mediocre despite there only being two other patrons in the dining room. There are so many other chain restaurants in this city that offer the same type of menu. You’ll have to step up your game to compete. Sorry but I won’t dine with you again.
Great fun and service! We enjoyed our meal! The seafood was delicious
One if the group is vegan. 5th visit requesting a vegan dish. First failure. They must have been busy.
Unfortunately, the best part of our meal was the wine.
We found that the food was overpriced for the value. Our meals all arrived at separate times, our steaks were over cooked, our shared side wasn’t delivered to the table until our main courses were eaten and it was cold when we finally got it. We ordered the Brussels with pancetta and potato. There was zero pancetta and it tasted like bbq sauce dried onto cold chunks of onion. One guest ordered the crab cakes with fries. We was given about 7 fries that were crispy leftover bits from the bottom of what I’m assuming was a frozen bag of fries. The food was tasteless and overpriced. The ahi was over-seasoned and inedible. The vegetables were under seasoned and cold. The filet mignon was 1/4” thick and not even sure it was actually a filet. It had the texture of a hockey puck. We were all convinced the reason there were still reservations left was because everyone else knew what we didn’t. While we were waiting for our bills, we overheard a manager apologizing to the table behind us for a piece of oyster shell being in a guest’s meal (the guest thought it was a shard of metal) and then proceeded to go apologize to another table for another issue. In addition, why on EARTH is a fine dining steak and seafood restaurant blasting Journey and Bruce Springsteen in a dining room? The music was a distraction and eventually a headache. We do not plan on ever returning. Next time, we’ll settle for a bowl of cereal on the couch because at least that’s meant to be served cold.
I want to first say that I never post my opinion of an experience that I have because I don’t want my opinion to sway others . I felt in this case it was necessary to provide my opinion. To begin with the hostesses were not friendly and seemed disinterested. We were seated in the worst table in the house across from the bar service area with multiple tables open in other parts of the restaurant. Our waiter was nice but kept saying “my pleasure”. we are not eating at Chic Fil A.. she had a cut on her hand that was bandaged but did not have a rubber finger glove seal over it. We ordered the crab cake for a appetizer, no lump crab, seemed processed and had no flavor. My wife ordered the seafood trio, the shrimp were tasteless, you would get better at Long John Silvers. The salmon was her words.. “okay”. I ordered the boneless ribeye. They gave me the bone in ribeye. looked great but had zero flavor. The ribeye came with a side of asparagus in a mysterious cream sauce the had a flour flavor. I ordered the wedge salad and need to remove the center heart of the iceberg lettuce. On the good side.. the bread is tasty. I am not interested in going back and would suggest going somewhere else. If you have a gift card, grab a few friends and drink at the bar..
My wife and I love dining at McCormicks in South Park. The ambience is inviting, beautiful, and the service is wonderful. Some delicious food options are the Almond Crusted Trout and the Steak! Whether you are looking to dine in for a zesty lunch or a romantic dinner, McCormick's is sure to impress.
Went for New Year's Eve dinner with family. Clyde our server was awesome and food was great!!!
We had been to M-S and as usual we had a pleasant xperience. Our server, Jazz, was spot on with recommendations, timeliness, and personality. We had one of the alcove tables which afforded privacy. My wife and I both had steak, done to perfection, and god sized lobster tails. We have been here with a large group and also with a few friends, and both times were just as enjoyable as this time, when we were alone.
Ordered a bone in ribeye which was kind of disappointing. Ordered it rare but was cooked to medium and was very dry . Did not want to send it back because of the long wait for our food .
Our waitress was PHENOMENAL (but unfortunately I don’t remember her name)! She gave great suggestions on what to order & checked in on us just enough to make sure we were comfortable but not enough to interrupt our dinner. The staff was welcoming, & the “Happy Anniversary” menus & complimentary dessert were a nice touch!
Service was outstanding and food was delicious, great atmosphere.
Great service and excellent food. Server was very patient and explained options
Very disappointed with this visit. Dined there a week ago party of 4 and service & food was outstanding even though it was quite busy. Not this time. It was early and not busy. Waitress forgot the oysters Rockefeller appetizer, offered to serve it w/ main course but it was too late. She served the main course with cold mashed, wrong vegetables on the wrong plates. This was an anniversary celebration. Not an enjoyable experience. Too many other better choices around rather than to go back again.
Disappointing night! Came to celebrate my birthday with my friend. Unbeknownst to me my daughter had called ahead to have two glasses of Prosecco brought to our table when we were seated. That did not happen. The menu was personalized for my birthday from my daughter...a nice touch. After we got our drinks, We asked the waitress to take our picture and she did, a few minutes later we asked if she would mind retaking. From that point on her whole demeanor changed. After that it was about 20 minutes before she came back to our table to take our order. My daughter sent a text to me asking if we got our Prosecco, which of course we had not. I went to the hostess stand and that information was in their system! We had already had one drink and had ordered a second which was being made, so obviously we did not want/need a third drink. The second drink which was the same as my first drink came and was nothing like my original drink, there were no mint leaves in it, etc. I told the waitress and she took it back. The manager then came over and told me that she was comping two of our drinks for the mix up. The re-made drink came and was exactly like my first drink. The bill was brought to us and when the waitress came to pick up the check she then informed me that I had two options for dessert for my birthday. We were ready to leave and then received that information...seriously?! It was disappointing that my daughter made such efforts to make this a special night and it turned out to be a fiasco!
My wife and I were celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary. They gave us special menus to commemorate the occasion. That was a great touch. The food was excellent as usual. The server was extremely helpful as I was torn between two different salmon dishes. We love dining at this restaurant and look forward to doing so again soon.
Very nice experience, will dine there again when in town with friends.
Food was poor and over priced. Sry disappointed with M&S. Service was fine.
This is the third year we have dined on Christmas Day. While our waiter Taylor was great the food was not impressive at all. The shrimp kisses app was extremely over done. And the portion sizes seemed smaller than normal services and also lacked presentation. We “may” be back on a non holiday but next Christmas we will not.
It was great to have our Christmas dinner at a place we love! Thanks for a wonderful evening!!!
Food was delicious but portions and sides were small for the price.
My wife and I have been coming to the Charlotte area the past four Christmases since our son relocated to the area in 2015. We have always had Christmas Day dinner at this M&S location each year. We have always enjoyed the atmosphere, cuisine, and excellent service. One note: this year, I did notice that one of my favorite dishes, trout, was missing from the Christmas menu. I enjoyed this particular entrée the past years. However, I did enjoy the other seafood entrée I selected. We all had a great time, and plan to be back next year.
The place was extremely busy when we arrived on Christmas Day -- it seems we came at a peak time -- but we were seated promptly. We had a marvelous server, JAZ, and she was attentive, polite and helpful despite the fact that she was moving non-stop between her tables. The food was excellent! We both had Fillet which was perfectly cooked and the lobster bisque was extremely good. It was the first time we had ever gone out for Christmas Day (just moved) and we really enjoyed it!
Where do I begin! I was at the restaurant for Christmas dinner which I felt that if you were offering Christmas dinner, which many restaurants were closed that I should find the food to be at least decent. Worst margarita I ever had, so I’m not sure if I should have been running from the restaurant at that point. I had ordered the crabcakes and it came with fries and coleslaw. When I have to say the coleslaw was the best part of the meal you know that the experience was not good. The crabcakes were so full of a bread filler that you did not taste the crab meat at all. The French fries were so salty that I have been having to use chapstick on my lips for days now, because the became so chapped from all the salt. Another person in the party had the trio and the salmon was over cooked and dry. Also they wanted to have the lobster mashed potatoes and it was lobster bisque soup poured over them. I know that because it just so happened that I had (lobster bisque soup) for an appetizer. For an additional $6.00 I could have save some of my soup and just poured that on them for free. Can not compare to Brio’s or Del Frisco’s and at the price point your are at makes it very clear to me that I would never eat at your restaurant again. Shame on your restaurant, big disappointment, left there without having desert and hungry.
Excellent service, good food but pricey. We had a nice table in a quite part of the full restaurant
Usually McCcormick and Schmick is great. Most of the meal was fantastic. This is the first time, however, that I got crabcakes that seemed a bit off, like the crab was aged a bit. As usual, the waitstaff was awesome and there were lots of people there for their Christmas meal.
Excellent food and service. Highly recommended. Great staff
Great service and good food
It was Christmas Eve and the restaurant was packed -- but they were prompt, friendly and accommodating of my son's special request. Our waiter was excellent. The food was good and the only downside is that it is a bit of a higher price when you don't get large servings. For a special occasion it is just right.
Crab cakes were mushy & tasteless. Service was excellent, though.
Service and food were outstanding
Love the private booths and the many menu selections.
