We had a great dinner from the food to the service. Carl was our waiter who was awesome!!
Was ‘ok’ Our waitress was VERY helpful, as we had a gluten free person on our party... she was great!
This was part of a “girls” weekend. We enjoyed our dinner. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable and what she didn’t know, she found an answer for us. We would definitely dine here again.
Food was outstanding and the service was very good. They created a special menu for the occasion. It was a Sunday evening and there were less than 10 tables occupied. Most everything was excellent.
Great Sesame Tuna. Delicious wasabi mashed. Love the bit of BocChoy.
A nice upscale eatery with an active bar and a fairly quiet seating area. The service was excellent in every way and they try their best to accommodate the customer. The food however was a little lacking in several ways. Quantity: The Shrimp Kisses appetizer is wonderful but at around $15 for only 4 shrimp it is very difficult to appreciate, a minimum of 6 would be in order to justify this price (plus it is something everyone at the table will want to try and $30 for 8 shrimp as an appetizer would be truly ridiculous.) Meat temperature: At these prices I NEVER want to get the meat temperature incorrect. My medium filet was most definitely medium rare unfortunately. Since it was a family gathering, I did not send it back. Spices: Another in my party ordered the blackened chicken with cajun sauce linguini. She verbally mentioned that she didn't care for her dish a few times and when asked why she said it was bland. I didn't believe that blackened Cajun dish would be served bland but I tried her dish and sure enough, the sauce was pasty, not tasty, and had little hint of any spice. Her chicken (pre-cut and mixed in) was definitely grilled but blackened? No. Blackened for this type of food description doesn't mean burned, it means using the technique and spices to blacken which was again missing. Our total came to $200 with the tip for three adults and a child. The child meal was fine at $8 but then they charged almost $4 more for a Coke for the child. A drink should always be provided with a child's meal without extra charge. So to recap, nice place, great service, awful price practices, poorly created plates. I only come here about once or twice a year, and now you know why.
Location is at mall and the mall was closing so not very crowded but resulted in slow service.
We waited over 30 minutes and the manager came over to inform us that our food was dropped and had to wait for another meal. As a courtesy my oysters $7:00 was credited. The waitress was great.
The food was fantastic and the service was good. there was a mix up in the kitchen where they brought my wife's dinner plate out first and then about 5 mins later brought mine out. I am not sure what happened there, but it was a bit annoying that they did not serve our dinner plates at the same time. Other than that, I have nothing but praise for the restaurant. Our Server Brandon was absolutely fantastic and we will be asking for him again!
Service was slow, food very good and waiters pleasant.
Why do restaurants allow customers to listen to their iPads at full volume when others are trying to have a nice meal out? Not worth the price!
It's been awhile since we came in and everything was as good as I remember. Ashley used to always take care of us remembered us and provides excellent service . Bjorn the manager is another asset who makes us feel welcome . Thanks .
We ate at McCormick and Schmicks twice last week. On both occasions the service was not very good. At one meal the waitress kept forgetting to bring things we asked for. At the other the waiter didn't know the menu and was very slow. Fortunately, this was the low point to both meals. The food, ambience and drinks were good. The portions were nice sized (with the exception of the lobster tail special) and everything tasted fresh.
Our server was great ! The food was excellent !
Looking for a seafood place on Friday during lent at 5:30. Everywhere else was booked or had long waits. Food was ok, but on the pricey side for what it was.
Four of us dined on Sunday afternoon. We were seated in a "snuggle", which was private and felt as if we were dining in a train car from days gone by. The food was fresh and attractively plated. (Coffee could have been hotter.) Our Server was polite and professional, as was the rest of the staff. Absolutely no complaints. We look forward to returning in future.
Very nice place. Decent service. Food was way overpriced.
Amazing food and lovely staff
I got the stake and twin lobsters tails. The lobster show up cold, slimy and under cooked. I sent it back and it came back warm, slimy and undercook.
The food here was excellent and our waiter Kariim was terrific!
We have frequented M&S many times before this evening. Food has always met our expectations. This particular evening was Valentines Day. We had 3 couples and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. We never felt rushed and the waitress was exceptional pleasant and engaging. The food was prepared to our specifications. Our group all selected seafood, Tuna, Salmon, grouper and trout. Their suggested premier wine for the evening paired very well with each of our dinners. We shared some delicious deserts between the group and order some specialty coffees. Very pleasant evening and will sure to return again very soon!
Half of the Fish that was served to me is not fresh... you would determine it that half of the fish smells different from another half... never expect this as even if we went there for lunch just because it’s Valentines Day their price are for dinner😟 We asked for extra bread but the server did not gave us... I ate as about to complain about the fish but my husband don’t want me to... we’re just not going to come back... I’m so disappointed as we are members of Landry Club...
Service was unbelievably slow. After nearly 40 minutes, we still had not been served our COLD shrimp cocktail. It is a COLD dish. When our entrées finally arrived, it was clear they have been sitting under the lamps for a very long time. The food is just mediocre, the service is terrible, the manager came over to apologize multiple times but had no offer to make up for the slow service. Other than the happy hour, we will never go back.
Was seated in one of the semi-private booths and enjoyed that very much. Was easy to have a conversation. Food was fabulous, from Appetizers to Desserts.
The service was very good. The food was quite ordinary, especially for the price.
This is an upscale chain restaurant. It was upscale. Went there with friends on a Sunday evening. We are all fish lovers and fish is this chains specialty. The fish was fresh and everyone's dinner was excellently prepared. Cooked and seasoned properly. Served promptly. Our waitress, Ally, was knowledgeable and excellent. Service was a little slow but we were not in a hurry. (We were a party of 6.} The manager also checked with us 3 times to be sure we were being serviced properly. Most entrees are priced in the upper $20 to mid $30 range (as I said upscale).
Excellent Dinner! Superb Service! Was pleasantly impressed!
The best oysters yet!
My Server Jair was excellent. Professional, attentive, caring, and efficient.
Good late afternoon dinner.
Dirty glasses and silverware were set at our table. May not return to this location. I am a Landry’s member, so I have been a loyal customer.
McCormick and Schmick is a very good restaurant and the food is very good. The service is always very good. It is connected to the Bridgewater mall so there is plenty of parking. The restaurant offers a great variety of food. they are know for there seafood. I(we) have eaten at this location many time. I would highly recommend this location.
The Mahi-mahi fish did not taste fresh. It was hard and tasted stale, fatal for a seafood restaurant. Waitress did not take away extra dishes, finished dishes and other used items, all littered on the table .
The reservation was honored on time. Most of us ordered the bourbon glazed salmon and it was very tasty.
a good meal overall! prices are starting to get a bit high and value is decreasing slightly!
My first experience at this Landry's restaurant and decided to take the family for an early New Years Eve dinner.
Overall the service was a bit slow and it seemed as if the location was under staffed/served.
I don't mind a bit of a wait between servings, but no one came to clean off the table after apps or entrees.
The waitress was working hard but can't expect her to handle all aspects of table service.
The food was good but would have expected exceptional quality and service especially for the price tag here.
The food itself was outstanding. The problem is your $12 drinks only come 3/4 full. Made comment after first drink and got more of a chuckle than a result. Would go back for the food but skip the cocktails. Expected a better result than that.
Food, as expected was good, however it was served at room temperature - not just mine (steak and lobster tail) but also all at table remarked same (2 had grilled salmon). Service was okay but slow - understand it was a holiday evening but should have had full compliment of staff as restaurant was packed or limit number of tables being used....
Tried to compensate with complimentary dessert (which was very tasty) when we made server aware - but too late to correct basic service and meal experience.
New Year’s Eve dinner was lack luster - food was decent but service was lacking and it was an early seating at 5:30 only about 50% full. Glad we weren’t there when it was busier as seats filled up later.
