Took my grandson for casual dinner. Had a wonderful time. Our servers were especially helpful and efficient. I have only recently realized that this has become very family friendly.

We had a reservation on Saturday at 6:30 but didn't get seated until 6:50. At 7:10 a waitress showed up and asked if we'd been helped since they were not sure who was serving our table. We said we had not and were ready to order. She said things were so busy she was sweating like crazy and she'd be our waitress. We acknowledged her sweat and ordered an inexpensive bottle of wine and two entrees. The wine came quickly, but by 8pm (90 minutes after our reservation) there was no still no food and we were very hungry. I flagged down the waitress and asked if the food might be coming soon. She said it would probably be awhile but she couldn't guess how long because the kitchen was so backed up that things were in chaos. She explained to us that was the reason so many people were leaving. She then hurried off. So we got up and left too.

The good news is that we went over to Purple, got a seat at the bar right away and had a fantastic meal.

Great food and flexible hostess who took us a bit early on a Saturday night. Waiter seems so overwhelmed and rushed us out of there

We went to McCormick and Schmidt’s for dinner for my moms 56th birthday. My kids were there along with my brother, sister and husband.
The food was great but our server was ridiculously rude. It got to the point where it was comical.
The hostess was sweet and telling my mom about all the great gluten free options, but once we asked the server about a specific dish he rolled his eyes and said he “didn’t have time for this”.
Never brought us our drinks, I had to go ask the bartender for a glass of wine for my mom.
I had to get up and pour our own water because it had been 30 minutes since the server came to check on us.
These are things that just popped into my head, he was awful and said insulting things to basically everyone at the table. I would have gotten up and left or complained but I was just desperately trying to save my moms birthday and didn’t want to create anymore drama.
I would go back because the food is good and everyone else is super nice that works there. If I ever get put in the section of the tall balding guy with a chip on his shoulder, I will gladly ask to just sit at the bar.

We needed a light supper before attending a movie. even on a Saturday evening, we were able to get a reservation just a couple of hours in advance. The lobster bisque and Caesar salad were more tasty than the usual restaurant fare.

Unfortunately no one to attend us after sitting us. Came for lunch after making reservations and expected great time with my family and good food. Stood up after 10 minutes and even after leaving and told why leaving, they acted careless and with no intention of making it right.

The doors were closed at 11:06 am. They were supposed to open at 11am!!

The older waitress/bar tender lady had an attitude when I informed the back door was also locked.

She is working in the wrong profession.....zero customer service.

My clam chowder could have been warmer, the waitress doesn’t know her menu. My client asked her a very basic question about an item.

Too bad, I used to frequent this place 1-2 per week.

To be fair and honest, the only reason why we went was because we had a gift certificate given to us by a friend. The service was disappointing, nothing horrible but nothing spectacular either. The food, for the price, was subpar. The noise level was outrageous. It's Saving Grace was that we had a seat by the window, otherwise if you're smack dab in the middle of the floor, you're probably really suffering. All in all it's not horrible, it's just not good.

The waiter gave a great walk-through of the menu and suggested some good cocktails, but it went a bit sideways from there. One meal was wrong and had to be sent back, in a rush to take orders missed the soup/salad step, ordered a bottle of wine and got a glass of something different, weak on attention but it was pretty busy. On the plus side was good appetizers and the tuna and sole were fresh and tasty. Overall, the food mixup and the wine finally arriving toward the end of dinner were distractions to an otherwise nice restaurant.

I have gone to McCormick and Schmick's over the years at different locations, and unfortunately it is my assessment that the food quality has diminished significantly. Absent from this location (Bellevue, WA) is the daily fresh list which I thought used to be signature feature of the restaurant. My wife had the very small lobster tails which tasted okay. However the mashed potatoes had a lobster-bisque-as-gravy concoction which was frankly terrible in taste. I had the "breaded cakes" that had some crab and shrimp in it, and it also had raw onions mixed in. Sadly, it just was not appealing whatsoever. Desert was okay, and perhaps I chose poorly. I had the brioche bread pudding that had been soaked in rum. I imagine that some people probably would have liked it. Overall, a very disappointing experience, and the likelihood of returning is low to nil.

Normally my wife and I wouldn't go to M&S for dinner, but we had accumulated a bunch of M&S gift cards from Christmas's past, and finally decided to use them and take a friend.

The food was very good (drinks, rockfish, steak, lobster tails, crab legs) - better than I had expected, truth be told. Service was great, and the drinks were strong.

Christmas night; maybe not such a good night for eating out. Even though we were seated 15 minutes before our reservation time (this was the best part) we still waited for about 10 minutes before our wait person came to our table. We ordered drinks and waited. And waited. And waited. About 25 minutes. She came back to our table (without our drinks) and took our dinner order. The food arrived about 20 minutes later (still no drinks). About half way through the meal our drinks showed up. We noticed that everyone around us had baskets of bread but not us, nor was any offered. We finished our meal and ordered another round of drinks. These showed up in about 10 minutes, along with a dessert menu.
We both ordered the salmon dinner; the salmon was a little overcooked; the veg side was very salty and the mashed potatoes were tasteless. The dessert (chocolate silk pie) was OK.
Overall, we were a little disappointed, since we had been to the McCormick's in downtown Seattle and had much better food and service, even on busy nights. We miss that place...
We will try this restaurant again, but maybe not on a holiday/weekend. They were overbooked and waaay understaffed so there was no attention to the details.

We know it was Christmas Day but we felt very rushed. We had requested a quiet booth two times prior to our arrival and we were seated in the middle of the very noisy, crowded dining room. The waitstaff was very busy juggling everything and didn't get all our order correct and served the next course before we were done with the previous. Food was pretty good - a little on the dry side. Have had much better experiences in the past.

We've been long time diners at various McCormick's locations (15yrs) but Bellevue just can't seem to get it together. We've been severely disappointed on our last 2 occasions. The problems have ranged from poor service to undercooked and very over cooked food. I'm not talking about unrealistic expectations- a medium steak arrived well done (a $40 piece of meat ruined). My sea bass came raw (it's not the kind of fish you'd eat raw) and when I sent it back, they re-served me the same piece unchanged. I sent it back again. We were at the restaurant for 1 1/2 hrs before I had an edible entree. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is that the management keeps apologizing and promising that next time will be better.

Had Steamed Snow Crab legs... came out barely luke warm... The other guest was having Cesare Salad ... the restaurant had only 1/4 full clientele.... it was Christmas Day. A Beautiful expensive sets of legs should have been done properly ... staff was kind and working on xmas ... Very Much Appreciated.

2 out of 5 of us took the plunge and ordered the way over priced salmon. Last year it was incredibly amazing. But this year it was dry on a huge pile of rice. With hardly any vegetables. That $35 meal should have been $12. I would not have traveled so far on Christmas Day for such a meal. Otherwise everybody else was happy.

Second year in a row that we’ve eaten here before Snowflake Lane, and even though the restaurant was super busy and full of families hosting holiday dinners or rushing to see the show, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was pretty good—love the fresh sourdough, and the lobster bisque was amazing—and the kid’s menu wasn’t super unique but my four-year-old seemed to enjoy it. Definitely recommend getting a reservation during the holidays because the location is perfect for the Snowflake Lane show, assuming you can get through the traffic to get here.

Disappointed with this restaurant as we've eaten there before a few times - though it's been a few years. The service was decent but the floor under our table and our silverware was dirty when we arrived. Most of the food was ok but everyone who had mashed potatoes agreed they were virtually inedible - the driest we've ever seen. As the restaurant is pretty pricey we didn't get the experience or quality we expected.
