Going to McCormick & Schmick has been a holiday tradition for us for many years. However, now the Harborside location on Lake Union is closed so we ventured over to M&S Bellevue Square. They are upholding a fine M&S tradition in our area of great menu and excellent service. As a party of retirees, we appreciated being seated in an "adult parties" room, so not having to endure fussy children, for which we were grateful. People with children often don't appreciate how much they impact parties in their vicinity so this is definitely a plus on the part of M&S. Even though it's a drive for us to come from North Seattle, we will do this again. Kudos!

Unfortunately, they were out of New York steak but didn't tell us until after we ordered. The beef medallions were tough and some were over cooked and others raw (ordered medium rare).
The sauteed spinach was so salty as to be inedible. The food looked great but the taste not so much. The service was okay but not great. The server seemed to be new and spoke very quietly so it was difficult to hear her even though the restaurant noise level was not loud. The desserts were the best thing about the visit.

This restaurant was chosen for several reasons: distance from our conference, menu and easy to walk to from our hotel. The food and service were outstanding but being just simple, rural people it was a bit more spendy than we are used to.

Great drinks, yummy food and excellent service. The lobster Cobb salad is gorgeous and delicious

There was confusion with the kitchen so one of our dinners was prepared before the other. The result was that we waited much longer than we should have and the first meal was not fresh and hot. Our server was not candid about the issue. We expect much better for the price.

Good food. Thank you for the offering to Veterans. The only comment I would make is that they should wait until everyone is finished before clearing table?

The food quality is always consistent. We haven't had much to complain about over the years. We go back because of the food and the service. I have to say this time our service was rather slow. The waitress told us that her large party at the table next to us had problems with their bills so that was why it took so long to get served. We ordered wine and she brought glasses but the wine didn't get in them for another 15 minutes. I had to ask her what was taking so long. I know they were busy, but it was nearly 30 minutes by the time we got our wine. I know things weren't her fault but perhaps she could have asked for help. Even though our last experience wasn't the best one we have ever had there, we will still be back because we enjoy the place. It is still one of our favorite places to go for dinner in Bellevue.

This restaurant is well situated in the heart of Bellevue downtown, The food was excellent, the ambience was above par. A hot bread loaf was served with the meal. A pleasant experience for our anniversary together.

This particular restaurant on Bellevue Way, Bellevue WA has an exceptional front desk. I have never been treated as well in any restaurant. Their greeting was warm and sincere. We were seated in a quiet corner . Our wait person was charming and efficient.

The fish and chips were very good. The coating on the fish had a great crunch. The plate was plentiful and a good value.

A very nice experience, much more than I expected.

Waiters were slow. They did not know of the AARP discount. The dessert was the best ever.

The location is perfect and free parking is a plus. Want to come back with better servers.

We came before for a birthday. Names on Menu, table glitter, and friendly staff.

It was Restaurant Week on a Sunday, this place didn't look too busy. No waiting, many open tables. However our server seemed unable to handle the volume, were they short of staff? Our server forgot to bring out our 1st course - Salad, he apologized and offered to comp. our dessert, but he forgot to do so. He also forgot to bring out our leftover to go box. The reception girl helped him out with wine orders and coffee refills.

I’ve always come to McCormick for clam. It’s always been inconsistent . The ingredients were always a little off. This time though, is the last time. They added the smoked ham and the salt just killed the clam. I had the white fish on a bed of tasteless hard mashed potato. The string beans were hard and chewy not crunchy. Sorry McCormick, I’ll miss you!

It is restaurant week. Everything is good. The waiter didn't show us the restaurant week menu until we asked for it. In the same day, I went to lunch and dinner. We have to ask for the restaurant week menu; otherwise, you will just get the regular menu. It doesn't happen to other participating restaurants though. Thanks.

I have gone to M&S as a special occasion dinner for my mother's birthday almost annually. This is the first time in Bellevue & the first time for brunch. I made the res. online & noted the special occasion for my mother's 79th birthday. I also went in to the restaurant the Fri. before the brunch to confirm the reservation & insure they noted the occasion. They told me it was all set & assured me that special menus with her name would be printed & that they would be aware of the event. We arrived 10:45, the door was open. The manager told me the restaurant wouldn't be open 'til 11. I said that was fine, we didn't need anything, but to wait for my mom & companion. He told me again, gruffly, they couldn't seat me or do anything for me until 11. There was the empty bar right next to us. I asked can I sit here or if I should leave? He said he couldn't help me until 11. I asked again, should I leave? No answer. The bartender did invite us to sit, but We felt it best to go. I met up with my party outside. We came in at 11:10. The same manager sat us. They had no recollection of the occasion or the special menus. They did nothing special or kind. The waitress had no idea until the end when we were opening gifts. She said, "oh this is a special occasion?" & brought my mom a dessert. It was awkward. There were only 2 other tables, the drink order took a very long time to give because there was just one server & the manager did not help, & we were 3rd. She was serving them. We could here employees hooting in the back together during brunch. The food was fine, but the whole thing was so poorly handled by the manager & the one waitress who was not great like previous staff I have had. It was a terrrible experience & I would never return. Not for brunch or dinner. My experience going in to insure the reservation was good &I thought they would preform much better than they did. A miserable experience and nothing like it was in downtown Seattle for steaks.

Too expensive for what we got and the fish was poorly prepared. Seanad was undercooked and was swimming in a broth you sauce that made all the veggies soggy. Too much sauce for a poorly prepared meal at $40 a plate. Never again!
