McCormick & Schmick's Seafood - Beavercreek - Permanently Closed Ratings and Reviews
We arrived at the restaurant to find they had permanently closed earlier in the day. It was VERY embarrassing as I had made a reservation to celebrate a special occasion with friends. Further, I didn’t even get a courtesy call from the management advising me of the situation.
Service was very average and quality of food was lacking.
There was a mix up with the bill and the manager was completely unprofessional and actually hung up on my wife when she followed up on our experience. It appears this location is closed for good....not surprised!
I was expecting there to be a 'Catch of the Day' and there wasn't. My husband had Steak & Lobster tail and the lobster was over salted. I think we would have had better choices at Red Lobster for considerably less money. The food did not measure up to the cost.
Food was good service ok. I left a $42.00 dollar tip on a check that was $205.07. Looked at my online banking this morning and see a charge for $ 255.07? Should have been $247.07. The waiter thought his average service deserved $ 8.00 more? My husband and I have both been in restaurant management and this is unacceptable.
Nice place for a date night. Quiet inside for conversation and festive outside during the summer months. We ordered salmon and walleye. Both presentations were lovely. However for the price, the taste of each was average and the portions small. Our server was very attentive. Overall it was a pleasant experience, but it's has yet to become one of our "favorite places to eat."
Started with a $3!!! Bloody Mary. Can't beat that. Then had the Eggs in Purgatory. Delicious! Lovely brunch menu. Many choices- all reasonably priced. If I wasn't dieting I would have gone for the Bananas Foster French Toast. Several $3 cocktails offerings too. Try it- you'll like it!
We were at the Greene in Beavercreek and sat outside on the patio to listen to the band play in the square. It was a lovely evening until the sun came down below the umbrella. We were going to get entrees but chose to get our bill at that point to not end up boiling hot. The coconut shrimp appetizer was great and the drinks were good, but the restaurant needs better way to try to shield its patrons from the hot evening sun.
First and last visit. Restaurant mostly empty on a Saturday night yet still kitchen could not cope. Took 30 minutes to get our drinks (bar backed up), 45 minutes to get a paltry shrimp cocktail appetizer ( they forgot the oysters we ordered and the cocktail was 5 small shrimp for $17!) and they brought me someone else's dinner, told me I could just eat it if I wanted ( I didn't...it was not what I ordered) only to bring the correct and totally different meal that I ordered about 2 minutes later. And, they tried to charge me for a salad never ordered. No manager apology, no bill adjustment, nothing....for a $160 check for two people, you expect better. Skip it and go elsewhere. Not worth it.
We were at the Beavercreek location during a summer event at the Greene shopping center. There was a live band playing so we sat outside. The food was very well prepared and very flavorful. The service was excellent and the live music made for a very fun dining experience.
I am disappointed that our experience was not better, especially considering the cost. For a Father's Day meal at an expensive restaurant, the service was nothing special. The food was no better than, and in some cases not as good as, what we could have gotten at much cheaper casual restaurants. With Fleming's right across The Greene, there is no comparison. Fleming's gives you superior service and great food for the price you pay. We will be taking our business there next time.
Great Father's Day brunch - excellent crab benedict AND bloody mary combo! The only strange part is a constraint on making the Father's Day reservation and limited time options available to Open Table patrons. Not sure if an artificial constraint imposed by Mc&S (as if they thought they would be overwhelmed with walk-ins), --- but it definitely was NOT busy even at the [later] time that we had preferred.
