Spencer was a great server at the Harbor east location . He made our visit wonderful because he helped us out a lot with the menus options . He explained each dish well and recommended my dish which i loved ! He was also hilarious ! I’d come back and recommend him specifically . The scenery was beautiful . We couldn’t stop talking about how good our meal was .
We chose this restaurant for a pre-concert (Celtic Women) dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it. My absolute favorite is their Cucumber Mint Lemonade, as a non-alcoholic alternative. We started our dining experience with the Lobster Bisque and the Crab Dip, both very tasty options, but a tad bit on the salty side for my palate. We proceeded to our main course, which was the New York Strip with Asparagus for my significant other, and the Pan Seared Salmon (from Scotland) with Lobster Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans. The Lobster Mashed Potatoes had a smooth and silky consistency, generous Lobster chunks, and tasted delicious. The Salmon was buttery soft and most scrumptious. As for the Green Beans, I did not much care for them; however, they were palatable. Overall a very pleasant dining experience, with a beautiful view of the Baltimore Bay Area at sunset.
The music was very loud and unfortunately not very good. Food was okay, not very flavorful and very small portions. Definitely not worth the price. Our server was very friendly and attentive
Always a great time at McCormick and Schmick and our recent visit was no exception. The food was delicious and our server Chase was outstanding — friendly, energetic, and extremely helpful. His recommendation for dessert was excellent.
We go to this restaurant for the consistent experience - the great food, wonderful, attentive staff and picturesque view of the Baltimore waterfront.
took 10 mins just to get greeted at table. food took a very long time to get there. lobster was undercooked and mushy......waiter never asked how my meal was.... spinach was worst than out of a can! never acknowledged my birthday...... just a terrible experience! gave it another try but will NOT be going back!
Good food for seafood lovers. Good service and special care. Willing to revisit next time!
This is our favorite restaurant. We dine in many locations but none can match this one. All areas of service is excellent. The waiter on this visit was great.
It was a Birthday dinner. Very nice meal. Great food
Food, service, atmosphere was spectacular!! The timing of the meal felt prompt but not rushed and everything was perfect for the birthday celebration!
Oysters Rockefeller, scallops, ribeye and desserts fantastic!!!
Good food good service
I had to insist on being seated in the dining room and not the lounge, where there was a television and it was too loud. Once I was settled in the dining room everything was fine. I was eating early, so I am not sure why the hostess wanted to push me into the lounge, but that was not the dining experience I wanted.
Everything else went well. Good service, delicious food, good recommendations.
M&S provides a decent but immemorable meal. The setting in the Baltimore Harbor provides nice ambiance.
Not ready for the reservation. Waited more than an hour for food. Did not bring appetizer or soup. No drink refills offered. Will not be back.
THE MANAGER AND HOSTESS WERE WONDERFUL. THE "WAITRESS" WAS HORRIBLE AND THE WAIT FOR FOOD WAS TWO HOURS
The entire experience was amazing. The food was good, and the wait staff was attentive, nice, and quick.
It was Valentine's Day and our original reservation did not work out. So we booked a table here and were very pleased! The food was delicious, the server was funny and friendly. The night view of the water was also quite nice! We would definitely return.
Also: SIGN UP FOR THE LANDRY CARD! I signed up months ago, forgetting about it. But when I used it that night we got $50 off our meal! Worth the membership!
My boyfriend and I went here on Valentine’s Day and the food was amazing! I recommended the fish and chips! Great service!
Restaurant was nice! A little noiser since it was packed out for Valentine's Day. Service was great fast and attentive.
It has been awhile since dining at M&S. I used to take clients as their menu included a large listing of fresh fresh flown in daily along with at least 10 types of oysters. To my surprise this no longer exist. All they feature is Scottish salmon. We went for valentine's and my wife ordered the twin lobster tails. I should have known something was off when the server asked if she wanted a third for $10 more. The tails were the size of jumbo prawns. For the price it was a real ripoff . I had the salmon but it was nothing special. Their menu is now nothing special but for the prices they are charging you feel taken advantage of. I am sure the rent for the incredible harbor location is high but changing and creating plain vanilla menu to make a profit is not a sustainable business model. I talked to several of my friends about our experience and they had same experience. I guess the restaurant's new business model is to lose local clientele and focus on unsuspecting tourists to the city who would only come once anyway. Save your money and go to more moderately priced seafood restaurants which have equal or better offerings at a reasonable price.
Staff was excellent professional and very attentive that's why we're Landry's card holders!
Good waterfront dining. Good and friendly service.
Absolutely perfect restaurant for Valentine's Day. We had a table right by the windows, so we had a beautiful view of the harbor. Our waitress was very attentive and the food we delicious (as usual). Thanks for making the evening perfect.
It did not seem overly crowded, however, we waited quite some time for our food. Once we started on our salad, then the entrees came less than 5 minutes later!
We attributed it to a back-up in the kitchen. The bar was crowded but not very loud.
Nice place. I ordered fish and chips and it was ok. My friend loved his pork chop.
Our first time here, the service to the meal was incredible!! Get the lobster bisque...AMAZING!! If we are back in Baltimore, we will surely stop in again.
Dinner reservation for 8:15 pm... our group was seated around 8:40. A waiter did not come to take our order for over 20 minutes. We waited over an hour for our meals. The waiter forgot about our soup. My steak was overdone this was sent back. We asked to speak to a manager however he did not come to our table. This was an unfortunately a terrible dining experience. We have been at this restaurant in the past without encountering any problems with the service. This time we were beyond disappointed. I’m not sure that we will be back
SERVICE WAS EXTREMELY SLOW & WAITER KEPT DISSAPEARING. WAITER SAID THE KITCHEN WAS BACKED UP & THE FOOD ALSO TOOK A VERY LONG TIME TO BE SERVED. THE FOOD ALSO CAME OUT COLD, WHICH MAKES ME THINK THE FOOD SAT A WHILE BEFORE BEING SERVED. HAD THE LOBSTER BISQUE, WHICH HAD ALMOST NO LOBSTER IN IT AND FOR ALMOST $10.00 PER CUP, WAS VERY OVERPRICED. A BOWL WOULD HAVE BEEN ALMOST $20.00 FOR NOTHING BUT FLAVORED BROTH/CREAM. THE ONLY GOOD THING WAS THE COCONUT SHRIMP APPETIZER WHICH HAD A VERY GOOD SAUCE & THE SHRIMP WERE ALSO DONE JUST RIGHT. THE OTHER NOTABLE THING WAS THE ATMOSPHERE WAS VERY NICE & A WONDERFUL VIEW. OK TO GO THERE FOR THE BAR/LOUNGE, AS LONG AS YOU DON'T EAT THE FOOD.
I have been to M&S many times over the years. It has always just been OK. I got the crab cake and filet with asparagus and cheddar mashed potatoes. The crab cake has gotten smaller. The filet did not have much taste. The asparagus was very green. And the cheddar mashed were very dry. I husband got the sirloin rare...and it was rare. The prices have gotten out of hand. Too much for mediocre food. The setting is nice on the water, but it was a rainy February night, so nothing to look at through the fog. It is very loud in there and always has been. It's been awhile since we have visited and probably will be awhile til we go back. The waitress was outstanding!
We were there for a special occasion. I ordered the filet steak and crab cake. The steak was very dry. I did not even eat the crab cake because it was so bad. My daughter felt the same way about her steak and crab cake. I ordered to pear martini which was very good and then I ordered a second pear martini which was awful. The waiter rarely came to our table. The entire experience was very disappointing and I would not go back to the restaurant.
Great food and great service. Always good.
The restaurant week menu had excellent options!
My wife and I went to McCormick & Schmick’s for our “date night”. We’d been here before, but 4 years ago. The place is very nice, ambiance is great, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, but the quality of food is not worth the price tag it comes with. I got the ribeye. I asked for it to be cooked “medium”. Instead, they gave me “rare”. I told our server (Rebecca, she was great) and she returned it for more cooking. Both the manager and cook cake out to see if my steak was cooked correctly this time, which I appreciated. Yes, they got it right the second time, but by now I was annoyed at having to wait. Prior to the steak, we had a dozen oysters, which were delicious. I also had a cup of lobster bisque, which tasted good, but which was lukewarm at best. Overall, the experience wasn’t worth what I ended up paying (over $200, including tip). For that much money, for two people, for the experience we had, I should’ve paid less.
The place was great and the food was awesome. Spencer was great waiter.
Poor service by waiter. overall a disappointing meal
Always a good time. Took moms for lunch and wasn’t disappointed.
It’s was my daughter’s birthday and I was very disappointed. The food was cold and not seasoned well. The crab cakes were not what I’m used to. The coating on the crab cakes were like box fish. Some of my quest coating was white. I was not impressed. The best part of the evening was the manager who accommodated my extra guest.
We always enjoy eating here. We have a Landry frequent diner account. We especially like the Baltimore Inner Harbor location because of the fabulous views. We have eaten in many restaurants in this chain but we think the food is best at this one. The Bloody Mary's were spicy, but not too much. We often get the lobster Cobb salad tower wherever we are, again these are the best. Better than some of the others, generous with the lobster meat and bleu cheese. Our waiter was cordial, prompt without being pushy. I had a birthday award and was greeted by the manager because of it. Nice touch. When so many places have gone away or disappointed. It is good to know that this tradition is still here, perhaps even better!
The waiter was not helpful and not good at all.
