The ambiance is nice and the food is quality in prior visit. I believe the pandemic has definitely faulted the dinning market but I have hopes for a come back swoop.
Food was very good. The ribeye and the Cobia were excellent. Service was good. We will be back!
Very good ambience and food. Service was excellent.
We really enjoyed our post-Turkey Bowl Thanksgiving dinner here! Couldn’t have asked for more (except maybe free parking and sweet potato pie instead of pumpkin). The food, service and ambience were great. Haven’t had a 4-star experience where the $$$$$ bill didn’t leave me feeling like I should have cooked at home in a while.
I have dined here for Thanksgiving and Christmas and have enjoyed each visit. Our server Ashley was great. Will definitely dine here again.
We went there with family for Thanksgiving, as my oven is out of commission. Some of us had the Thanksgiving holiday special and one of us ordered from the menu. The turkey dinners were ok, unfortunately lacking the quintessential cranberry sauce. Also, it was strictly white breast meat. The sides were mashed potatoes, stuffing and string beans. They were unfortunately the near-raw variety which have become standard in restaurants of all stripes. Unfortunately, they do not agree with me. The steak, mussels and shrimp cocktail on the other hand were excellent. Also, drinks were not included with the meal.
On the other hand, our waiter was excellent. Very courteous, knowledgeable and overall professional.
I have always loved McCormick's for their seafood, and the location is unbeatable. That is always the bright side of any visit here.
Finally, they validate parking, at least a 20% discount on the rather overpriced surface lot.
I loved the food. My friend and I came over from the aquarium and we were seated fast.
Great food, came out relatively fast. Great drinks.
Our food and waiter was amazing . We were greeted and seated instantly . Everything exceeded my expectations and I will be returning .
This place was amazing food was great, quiet enough to talk comfortably.
I love it the waitress was very professional the restaurant was very classy and clean music was very lovely the inside was very beautiful I would love to come back again thank you guys we had the most wonderful time
Food was great price was what you would expect, the server Lawrence was Phenomenal had us laughing the whole time… great deal!! I will be returning very soon.
It was amazing.
The service by Juan was amazing. The current Chef is REALLY good. If you haven't been to this restaurant in awhile it's worth it to do it again.
If you’re looking for a deliciously seasoned, cooked to perfection meal this is the place to go. In addition the staff is on the money, oh so accommodating!
Very enjoyable Veterans Day celebration with family!
Thank you, McCormick!
I always have a good experience here .
I was very impressed by the friendly staff, the excellent service, the amazing food, and the beautiful decor. This was the first time my husband and I had ever eaten at McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood. Our server made so great recommendations and each of the suggestions were spot on. I had the Chef’s Choice Lobster Tail stuffed with crab and shrimp. I also had a salad, which was the best wedge salad I have ever eaten. I left the restaurant stuffed! We will be back to try more dishes in the near future. I highly recommend this restaurant!
The drinks were good. However, the center cut sirloin steak was very chewy and we ordered it at a medium temperature. My friend had the scallop linguini. It was a plate of green oil with noddles and the scallops were over cooked. We also ordered the creme brûlée and it wasn’t even hard at the top. It was over cooked in the middle to the point where the custard had a thick consistency. Never again at this location.
We had a lovely night out while dining at McCormick & Schmick's Seafood in Baltimore. The atmosphere was very nice, to include the staff. The head chef even came out to say hello and see how our dinner was going. Very enjoyable and fully recommend this location of McCormick & Schmick's Seafood to eat at.
Service was excellent…server very attentive.
I was there for the Veterans Day celebration with my daughter. My only disappointment is that my special menu was half-priced instead of the usual free. Since we were there during the football game the place was quiet and peaceful. The food was excellent as usual.
Roasted potatoes had no flavor. Steak was dry even though it was rare. Waiter forgot part of my order
Amber the Server was cold and a bit inattentive.
We were seated and it took her forever to show up we gave our drink order and were told " we outta that" . Then we were served bread with no utensils and were told that they weren't clean. My husband asked for straws which we were told they were also out of. Our meals were served without steak knives and we ordered steaks. There is also no adherence to the listed dress code as we were seated near women wearing overly revealing dresses and others in athletic were. This was a major disappointment due to the fact that we drove from wilmington De for date night. This is one place like Devon philadelphia we will not be returning to. Once we were able to eat the steak it was cooler than we like but the meal was tasty but of poor quality. We over heard the couple behind say they were also disappointment for the second time. If these issues aren't addressed I dont see Mccormick and Shmicks gettin any more business from outta state. We should have stayed closer to home or gone to Ruth's chris which is nextdoor. The hostess was pleasant and prompt for our reservation and the bar was pleasant but service missed the mark.
Food was great but didn’t have necessary items to make a signature drink. Appetizer came out after entrees
Short staffed I do believe. 20mins or so to get a drink, refill 30 mins. Food came out slow, 53.00 steak cold undercooked. Ordered mid rare came out rare. I’ll just write it off as staffing
Mick was our waiter. He was great. The food was delicious. We had a very pleasant time.
This is an overpriced restaurant in a great location. They offer grilled & broiled fish but no sauces or chutneys to accompany them - just lemon butter. We had to ask our server for a wine bucket for our bottle of white wine which she left sitting on the table. After our meal was served, the server never checked back with us until after we were finished eating. We never got our soup that was ordered.
My recollection was that this used to be a good restaurant. At this point I wouldn’t really recommend it. My Negroni came without a citrus garnish and was maybe a notch under what I can make at home for a lot less than $10.50. The Cioppino Fettuccini was not expensive ($27) but it also wasn’t very good. Overcooked dry shrimp, tiny scallops, and not really very good pasta. The toasted bread that came with it was very run-of-the-mill and bordered on fast food quality. Our waiter was great, but neglected to mention that the decent Filet didn’t come with a vegetable beyond mashed potatoes. It looks pretty lonely there on the plate. Prices were reasonable, but I’d rather pay more for a better meal. Great looking facility that can hopefully bounce back as we exit the pandemic.
Great place for you guys date night dinner
Once we were seated it took numerous times asking for a server and finally after 20 minutes. She was very good. The food was poor. Soup was cold the steak was fatty and everything else was ok. With a couple of cocktails it was 200. Not worth it
This was a birthday dinner for me booked with reservations. The food never disappoints. It was delicious. The strange part happened before we were seated in the restaurant which was not full. It was 5:00 p.m. and we were offered a seat in a dark area immediately next to a wait-staff station with a computer. Even with other booked reservations why seat guests at undesirable tables. I would think you want to keep diners returning, especially guests like me who put dining out on hold due to the pandemic.
Great central meeting place before exploring the Baltimore Harbor. Nothing outstanding about the food and disappointed by the options for Crab while in Crab country. I wouldn't recommend this venue as a representation of the Inner Harbor.
The oysters were outstanding, the pink lady and Connecticut blue point were the favorites between my boyfriend and I. I had the cobia and it was prepared nicely and the boyfriend had the scallop gratin and lobster mashed potatoes and he said it was his favorite meal in a long time.
Service was slow. Mediocre food would be an aspirational step forward. An extra dry vodka martini, usually means “not loaded with dry vermouth”. Accoutrements generally aren’t served so charred as to make them inedible. Both the manager and the server walked by several times without correcting. Pass on this place…plenty of mom & pops in B’more to dine at. Chain restaurants like this are all hype.
Can’t comment on food. Waited for 20 minutes outside and no one came to serve us. We walked out. Went to Loch Bar in Four Seasons next door. Much better choice and service was outstanding. Open Table, since I didn’t eat here, feel free to remove my points. Discouraging.
Service was great but one person's clam chowder was just "warm" and the shrimp scampi was very bland.
Terrible service, not good value.
Unfortunately, this restaurant has fallen victim to the “let’s hire anybody with a pulse” time of hiring after Covid. After being seated on time, it took 30 minutes for our server to get our drink order. Another 30 minutes later, only 3 of 4 drinks were served, and he had to come back to the table multiple times to ask us to repeat our order. When the food arrived, it was just ok, and of course our order wasn’t correct. Light bulbs were out all over the restaurant and a manager came by to apologize about the darkness. We wouldn’t have minded the lighting if we had a few drinks and some food! What a mess. We will not be back.
