The oysters were outstanding, the pink lady and Connecticut blue point were the favorites between my boyfriend and I. I had the cobia and it was prepared nicely and the boyfriend had the scallop gratin and lobster mashed potatoes and he said it was his favorite meal in a long time.
Service was slow. Mediocre food would be an aspirational step forward. An extra dry vodka martini, usually means “not loaded with dry vermouth”. Accoutrements generally aren’t served so charred as to make them inedible. Both the manager and the server walked by several times without correcting. Pass on this place…plenty of mom & pops in B’more to dine at. Chain restaurants like this are all hype.
Can’t comment on food. Waited for 20 minutes outside and no one came to serve us. We walked out. Went to Loch Bar in Four Seasons next door. Much better choice and service was outstanding. Open Table, since I didn’t eat here, feel free to remove my points. Discouraging.
Service was great but one person's clam chowder was just "warm" and the shrimp scampi was very bland.
Terrible service, not good value.
Unfortunately, this restaurant has fallen victim to the “let’s hire anybody with a pulse” time of hiring after Covid. After being seated on time, it took 30 minutes for our server to get our drink order. Another 30 minutes later, only 3 of 4 drinks were served, and he had to come back to the table multiple times to ask us to repeat our order. When the food arrived, it was just ok, and of course our order wasn’t correct. Light bulbs were out all over the restaurant and a manager came by to apologize about the darkness. We wouldn’t have minded the lighting if we had a few drinks and some food! What a mess. We will not be back.
Great service, food and atmosphere!
Celebrating a family member birthday. Special touch with celebrants name on menu. Food was good as usual and selection was as well.
We came from Tulsa and Austin to celebrate Dads 93rd Birthday and attend the SMU/Navy Football Game. He was in the Navy and graduated from SMU. They had the table set perfectly for the 6 of us with custom printed menus with Happy Birthday, Thank You for your Service and the school logos of both SMU and Navy. Numerous members of the staff came out and wished him a Happy Birthday and thanked him for his service. What a Great memory and an outstanding job by all. Highly recommend.
Thank You All!!!
Food, drinks and service were very good.
It took the waiter 10 min to come back & tell us they were out of scallops, We were there at the start of the dinner & very few people in the restaurant. They were out of desert and then forgot to give me my second choice.
My husband ordered a Long Island ice tea & then got charged an extra $10 for tequila that was in it,
Very poor quality
Two nights in a row.
Server (Jenny) was great. That’s why we went back.
Our server was Delaney. While I started out hopeful with her lovely greeting, the dinner service was abysmal. Our bread and salad plates sat on our table un-bussed during our dinner. When I asked for the check, she offered dessert which we ordered as it was my sons birthday . Our dinner plates and multiple empty glasses on top of the previous courses all sat on our table while we waited a very long time for the dessert. When she returned, There Was no where to place the dessert. Upon removing the dishes, she also took our silverware and napkins. Lovely restaurant, but service made for a disappointing night for my sons birthday.
We were celebrating our Anniversary. Amazing dinner and atmosphere. Even the chef came out and wished us Happy Anniversary and thanked us for our complaints. We felt very special that this effort was placed on awesome customer experience. Thanks again! ☘️💚.
I don’t mind the high price for a meal but when your spending $40 plus per plate you should have the option for side without paying another $10-$12
Just gouging in our opinion
This is a really nice restaurant. The staff are friendly and courteous, and the food is great, to my taste. The only minor nit was that they seated us at a central table but we preferred a window, and we could see that window tables were available but it took a little time and some insistence on our part to make that change, which we eventually did get. Other than that, the experience was perfect.
Always enjoy the food and atmosphere The quality of the food wasn’t as good as we have received in the past
Delicious food … nice atmosphere … pleasant staff …
Great experience. We ate outside. Seats were a little low, but otherwise great.
This restaurant is outstanding, excellent customer service and a awesome manager.... please keep up the great work.
Our waiter was hardly existant. We often had to ask the waitress that was serving the next table over to ask our waiter to come out for whatever we needed. We did not tip him very much either.
Great service! Food was great. I order the bone in ribeye.
Teniah was a great server. She was very accommodating and friendly. She definitely made the experience 10x better. Chef Richard was really nice as well, he came out and personally greeted us, and so did the manager. The staff was really great, the food and drinks were great, it was a really good time all around.! Just as any other time. We set outside and once it got dark, they even put nice lights up around the table. McCormick has always been a fav of mine, but after this experience, they have gained a lifetime supporter. And, it was my girlfriend birthday, Teniah sang with us and they even had “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” printed on the menus. Considering going back for my birthday in 2 weeks.
Although empty, service was very lacking during this visit. I may continue to be a regular but that dude can’t serve me again.
Super awesome experience all around the board! Would definitely recommend to ALL!
Food was good but very small portions especially for the price. Hostess staff was not very friendly or welcoming but our server was great.
It was a lovey dinner. Our waitress was nice and the food was good. It was our anniversary so they brought over a nice anniversary dessert.
Disappointed in the crab cake appetizer and the amount of claw meat in "lump" crab cake.
Food was really terrible honestly. Expected a better experience
My dining experience at this restaurant on a Thursday evening was horrible. Food was cold, servers were having loud conversations…cursing at each other. But to top it off an employee who was off work was eating cherries out of the container at the bar with her BARE HANDS!!!
This was at the Baltimore location.
Waiter spent way too much time with table across from us (could it be that they were spending much more than us?)
We had a good dinner. Our waiter was personable. The music was very loud and it made co versatile a bit difficult.
Went on a Sunday evening in September. Sat outside which was lovely. Food was excellent, drinks were meh.... a little lack luster in flavor, no garnishes and took forever. Service was slow but our waitress Delaney was doing her best. I don't really think it was her fault that the bar and food were slow. The restaurant was not crowded at all so not sure what the issue was.
We chose to eat outdoors and it was quite pleasant. The view and weather were terrific. We could feel the energy of the city, yet from our vantage point it was serene. The food was artistically presented and looked too good to eat but we did. Everything was delicious. Best of all it was the perfect atmosphere for great conversation.
We chose this place for our engament dinner because of the view. The food was good. The waiter was amazing. Very kind and catered to everything we wanted. Definitely will be coming back.
Out of half the menu items. Extremely poor service training. Twice they tried to get us to order desert while others were still eating entrees (and we weren’t there late). Didn’t remove dishes before serving next course. It’s been a very long time since I’ve had such an abysmal experience. It was horrid when you consider the high prices they charge. I use Opentable a lot and have never left a bad review so this was warranted.
It was a Sunday night, most places closed early, but we were able to get a table. The food was outstanding, the wait staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely go again when in the area.
Our food was cool and and had to be returned and be reheated. It took a long time to receive the food and then having to return it. I understand there could be some problems however, the food should be hot. The waiter was very good he was understanding and he did it removed as quickly as he could to return the food and get it right back out to us. I’ve eaten there before and there was not a problem but that was a couple years ago. We were celebrating our anniversaries so. They were complaints about the pork chops being tough. We had a party of seven.
Food was great as always. Waitor was pushy …kept asking if we wanted seconds when we were still working on first round.
