We booked this because we were on a business trip for several days at Harrah’s. The restaurant was lively and the food was STELLAR! The lobster and stuffed shrimp were fresh and delicious and the chef made all our vegetables perfectly. They were fresh, crisp and utterly mouth watering! I highly recommend it no matter why you go!
It was a great time, great food, and great service. I will definitely go back again.
Great service and food was on par with a 5 Star restaurant. Haven’t visited in a while, but will be back.
Fast service! Ryan was a great, attentive server! The food was delicious!
Our family's first time eating here. We shared our twins 21st Birthday dinner with this restaurant. The staff was really nice. Food was good little high in price but over all we really had a great experience and enjoyed this restaurant being a group of 8. We will defiantly go back when staying at Harrah's Atlantic City
My husband and I enjoyed our 27th wedding anniversary while dining at McCormick and Schmick's. Our server was friendly and attentive. My husband started off the evening with an Old Fashion. It was ok. We each had a salad, the wedge and mixed greens w walnuts. Both were perfectly chilled and tasty. Our main course was pleasing to the eye and pallet. He went for the sea and I for land. The filet mignon melted in my mouth and paired nicely with the green beans and whipped potatoes. I recommend that you save room for dessert. The chocolate mouse cake is worth every last calorie.
Went to McCormick & Schmick's restaurant for dinner, while staying at Harrah's Resort in Atlantic City.
The food was great although not hot enough for our preference. Service was also good but a little too fast, I got my Black label on the rocks at he same time that NE clam chowder.
Main course was Alaskan King crabs for my wife, and Pan Sauteed Idaho Trout for me, both plates well seasoned, but again would have prefer them a little warmer. Dessert was Upside Down Candied Walnut Apple Pie with Cinnamon Ice Cream and it delicious.
We would go back again, this time we would slow things down and request that our order is serve hot. Oh, by the manager was really friendly.
Beautiful. Fresh fish. And great. Service. Excellent drinks
Great! Waiter was very knowledgeable and the food was very fresh. I frequently go to Atlantic City and I will absolutely be back.
Valet Suck.It was pouring down raining and I had heels on didn’t want to walk too far but waited for 10 minutes out front for valet until I decided to self park and walk through bridgeway to the casino.Once inside the restaurant was nice .We sat in a corner with curtains which made it more private and nice .Our server was amazing and offered menu items. It was my boyfriend birthday in which at the end the server brought out a tasty brownie sundae.Very fresh and food was just as delicious. Will definitely go back.
Stacy our waiter was the best. Stacy was very charming, respectful and polite
First time here for our anniversary. Very nice restaurant. My husband and I had mixed reviews on the food. I thought my filet was the best and the most tender I have ever had. The stuffed shrimp was small but very good. My husband felt the lobster bisque was excellent as well as the calamari, while his seafood dinner was just ok. Overall, I would go back.
Great food, even though I had to wave a waiter down to tend to our table after half hour of waiting to be greeted. The waiter whom served us was great and helpful.
Steak was a bit dried out
We were celebrating a 92nd birthday. We had an early reservation mid-week but somehow the kitchen was already backed up. We waited at least 20 minutes for salad and then dinner came minutes behind it. It also took forever to get a bottle of wine and desserts were also slow to appear. The food was delicious and the friendly staff made the evening pleasant in spite of the kitchen issues.
Excellent food and service. Kim, our server, was great. She had extensive menu knowledge and made good suggestions.
Love the food and the ambience. Especially the fact that me and my wife can close the curtains and enjoy each other in privacy.
Server was attentive but annoying as constantly tried to up sell us on everything. Otherwise food was great. .
Steak was great. Lump crab Tower was extremely disappointing. No lumps to be found. Shredded crap. Not worth the $. Really was an avocado and mango salad with shredded crab on top.
Excellent menu and specialties. Steak was cooked to perfection and delicious. Lobster tail was perfect. Celebrated my 75th Birthday and couldnt have had a better dinner thanI did at this restaurant. The staff was so helpful, pleasant, and they went above and beyond to make my special day memorable. This was our third visit and wont be our last!
We ate here 3 of 4 nights while staying at the hotel. Sadly, all three nights were completely different. The most disappointing was our last night. We had to wait approximately 45 minutes for our food. We quickly learned that this was restaurant-wide as our friends at other tables had "like" experiences. Suffice it to say, that much like gambling, you never know what you will get in terms of the food and service. There was NO consistency in both the food AND the service; given the prices that you pay, this was disappointing indeed...BUMMERS!
The night that we had dinner our waiter was consumed with too many tables for him to handle. I had to ask him what the nightly specials were. The steak, when it was served to the table was not cooked to the right temperature. The steak was sent back. No steak knife was presented at the table had to ask for the knife. Waited too long for dinner. My meal was lukewarm when served to me. He was not on his game for us. We were not happy with our dining experience there!
Loved the ambiance in the dining room, semi private booths with curtains and small lamps on the tables. My husband raved about the bone in ribeye special although pricey! I enjoyed my filet mignon with truffle butter. The waitress was very friendly and gave helpful suggestions. We had a great Easter dinner!
1) They don't know how to shuck oysters.
2) Overcooked the salmon.
3) Spinach had enough salt to cause a heart attack.
4) Bland mash potatoes, and bland bread.
5) However, polite staff and a decent drink.
I am not happy about my experience over the weekend. First issue, we only had an hour and half until our next destination so we were on a tight schedule. I called beforehand and was told that was more than enough time, but to let out waitress know in advance . Our waiter, who was new, was slow in bringing out our food and getting us our checks. We were very understanding to the fact that she was new, but it was also frustrating too. We had to look for her and ask other staff to find her for us at least twice.
My fiancé ordered the snow crab legs. He ate them but said he didn’t like them. I asked him why and he said they tasted weird. He had the scampi ones. I had the blackened chicken fettuccine which was a good concept but extremely too salty. I literally felt my blood pressure going up and had to stop eating it. I love pasta, but this was not a good dish. I did want to complain but didn’t want to be “that” person. Also, even if I did want to send it back, it would have been hard to find our waitress.
Menu was pricey, but it was a special occasion so I wanted to go somewhere nicer than the buffet while in Harrah's casino. The food came out prepared exactly how we expected, everything tasted very good, and the server was friendly.
The food & service was good. Fish & chips was very good and good value. Big portion.
Wifey liked her flounder.
We had a nice birthday celebration. Service and food was good.
One of our favorite places great service great food and a GREAT HAPPY HOUR!!
I have eaten here a few times this past year and once again have not been disappointed. The food was awesome and so was our waitress. Couldn't have asked for better. Will definitely be back again.
Great food with a lot of different options. Excellent service and a variety of different cocktail options. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Excellent atmosphere, exceptional food. We were running late but the restaurant still seated us.
Waitstaff was extremely inattentive, waited an hour from the time we sat until our entrees arrived on extremely hot plates, drinks were not refilled and bread not delivered until we spoke to a manager, restrooms were extremely dirty and smelled horrific. This experience was extremely disappointing as our total bill ended up well over $400 for 4 guests. This is NOT the caliber of service nor accommodation one would expect from such an establishment. It was a Friday evening at 9:15 and the restaurant was fairly empty. Waitstaff could be seen joking around and laughing at the ordering stations while tables sat without service.
Take your money elsewhere. The manager was “discounting our bill” which was relatively laughable for the amount of time spent and the sub par waitstaff. We will not return
I took my fiance here for his birthday. The waitress came over to our table awhile after we were seated and it took longer to even get our bread or drinks and order. Awhile after ordering, she stated that the kitchen was backed up, the restaurant was not busy and many people were getting their food. A while later, our food came out. I mentioned not getting our appetizer. I am assuming she did not put our food order in right away and forgot. She then brought the appetizer out after getting our food. It was not as enjoyable as it would have been getting it prior to our meal. I never had a bad experience here and I was very unhappy with the service. Prior to the bill coming, she checked on us about three times in a matter of a few minutes, I am assuming so that she would get a decent tip. It was not a good experience for his birthday, and I am very upset. This was the first bad experience I had at a M&S location.
Shrimp kisses are worth the trip... Succulent shrimp wrapped in crispy bacon and glazed with unbelievable sauce. Yum yum
Since I will not go to Matoranos, I have now switched to McCormick and Schmidts. I have eaten there on many occasions and it is consistently above the rest. The servers take every step to enjoy your experience and the food is excellent. I have had seafood, steak and many different options and I am always impressed. It is comfortable and some of the booths can be romantic for those so interested. One time we had 39 persons for a 21st birthday and it could not have been any better. Continued success and thank all of the staff for not forgetting that the guest is important unlike Matoranos where some of the servers believe they are doing you a favor.
3/22/18▪▪We had filet mignon & n.y. strip steaks. The quality was just - meh-. They were not delivered hot to our table, just above room temperature. The green beans need to be cooked longer. I like steamed veggies just a bit crisp, but these were damn near raw. Our server insisted they were prepared properly; but uh, just NO. They needed to be cooked about 4 min. longer. The roasted fingerling potatoes were also unevenly cooked. Still raw in some spots. I know, I'm a chef. Obviously some trouble spots in the kitchen. I'm glad we didn't order any seafood.
Food was amazing and so was our waitress. Bill was expensive but worth it :)
Had a special night with a special woman. Dinner was great, service was very good. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves...
