McCormick & Schmick's Seafood - Atlantic City - Harrah's Ratings and Reviews
It was my 40th birthday dinner. Were there for 3 hours... the wait time for our waitress to bring every part of our meal was ridicoulus... she literally took 20-25 minutes to return each time from our initial drinks right on down to dessert. Our dinner took over an hour to come out... then my scallops were over cooked. She was nice but no idea where she kept disappearing to each time she left our table. Even if the kitchen was backed up on a Saturday night.. she never came to check on us... second time at this location... will not return... $500 dinner for 7 of us ... should have been a better experience
We were greeted promptly we made reservation at 11:15am we thought it may have gotten busy on the weekend but of course mornings would be slow. Our server John M was amazing he treated us with great respect. The food was amazing recommend the stuffed shrimp with mussels very delicious. Thanks again you guys made the morning great!!!
This restaurant has come a long way since Landry’s took over. The ambience with the secluded tables separated by curtains is spectacular. The menu is extensive enough for choices but limited enough so that the food is well prepared and delicious. The service we had with Jack was superb.
Our waiter Stephen was attentive - professional and pleasant from the moment we sat down at the table. He answered all of our questions regarding the Chefs Choice and Specials for our Saturday night dinner. He even gave us advice on parking - (leave your car where it is and take a cab to the next casino for the show we were seeing at the Golden Nugget). I had the Pecan Crusted Salmon which was amazing with the fall vegetables. My only concern at this location was the lighting - it was a "little too dim" - maybe turn it up just a notch or so. There is a McCormick and Schmicks in downtown Philadelphia - that I have never dined at before - but I will definitely choose it for dinner the next time I'm in town.
We were seated right away, but had to ask someone where our waiter was. We were sitting at our table for good 15 minutes before the waiter showed up. Our waiter was a big talker but could walk his talk, if you what I mean. My husband asked for a glass of scotch that he saw at the bar that they had, but the waiter came back saying they don't have that particular one in stock, because the computer told so. He didn't check with the bartender. He messed up our check at the end of the meal, adding 2 Caesar salads instead of one. And didn't take off a coupon since we had one. Bottom line, the service lacks! They need to work on it!
I took my wife here for day 1 dinner of our 16th anniversary getaway. We were promptly seated but we didn't get our usual "Happy Anniversary" menu but we did change our reservation and moved it up an hour. Our table was cozy, our server was friendly and our food was delicious! Look forward to visiting again.
We usually love this Restaurant, the happy hour menu is a great value. This visit there was an issue with my wife's entree. We were celebrating her birthday - she ordered the Short Ribs & specifically asked that no salt be added to her dish, however, the food was so salty to the point it was not possible to eat it. She ordered something different - by the time her replacement was served I was just about finished. Not the best experience. The waiter was great, brought us a complimentary dessert but the overall experience was rather disappointing.
