My friends and I went here for my birthday and it was spectacular. The food was amazing for all four guests and the cocktails were great.
Service was outstanding. we went twice in a row. A bit pricey but taste was excellent
Our party of five was very disappointed with the experience at McCormick and Schmick’s. While the ambiance is nice, that was where it ended. The service was extrememly slow taking 20 minutes for the waiter to even come to the table. It took another ten minutes for drinks to arrive. The appetizers we ordered all came either cold or at room temperature. The entrees were salty and again, three of the five meals came cold. The manager stopped by to see how things were and when we told him, he ended up taking the appetizers off the check. We passed on dessert and paid our $300.00 check.
Very sorry that we left the Borgata to travel to Harrah’s for this meal.
Excellent outing in every way.
I was dining alone-ordered a Caesar and their ultimate seafood platter. It took so long to get my food and the server was not apologetic. 90 minutes to dine alone is just too long for a meal. The grilled shrimp was way over cooked. The salmon tasted ok, but was microwaved. Crab cake was bland and underwhelming. The sides (mashed potatoes and green beans) were room temperature. I will not be going back.
I started not to come back . I had a bad dining experience at M&C on this past Sunday. Perhaps it was the time of day, I went. I decided to go back for lunch. The food is excellent. I am glad, I gave them another chance.
The food was great. Much better than when I went on Sunday evening. I started not to come back again, but I’m glad I did. The food was excellent!
The fish and chips were terrible. They were re-fried/ too hard to eat. I sent them back, and the replacement was the same . Hard , and not edible. I paid the check and left. I cancelled the other three reservations , I had for the week. I vowed not to come back to M&C.
It was wonderful.
Dinner was amazingly delicious. Our server was fantastic. It’s a new favorite!
Our visit to McCormick & Schmick's in Atlantic City was a dual purpose visit. We wanted to have a taste of Atlantic City's Restaurant week, and celebrate my wife's birthday. We were greeted at the desk with a friendly smile, and my wife was wished a Happy Birthday by the hostess - which was a great surprise to her! We were asked if we preferred the ala carte menu, or the Restaurant week menu - we chose the Restaurant Week option, and were promptly seated. The special menu offered a 3 course meal of the restaurants preferred fare - a first course choice of Salad, Soup, or appetizer, an entree choice of 4 varied dishes, and a choice of one of 2 available desserts for a special Restaurant week price. Our server arrived and was welcoming and friendly, and also acknowledged my spouse's birthday. My wife chose the Crab Soup and I opted for the Poke Tuna and Rice. Both were very flavorful and a great start. As entrees, my wife chose the Pan Roasted Herbed Chicken Breast, and I chose the Truffle Beef Medallions. My beef entree was well prepared, and tasted wonderful. My wife enjoyed the chicken, but felt the edges were a bit crisp compared to the rest rest of the chicken breast. For dessert, my wife chose the NY style cheesecake and I opted for the Chocolate Silk Pie. Both were very satisfying. In all, we had a great meal, in a great location served by some wonderful people.
Service was great! But, my short ribs and mashed potatoes were salty.
I took my mother here for Atlantic City Restaurant Week lunch deal. The meal offered was excellent. Great service and quiet atmosphere. I would come back with my husband for a romantic date.
We had the restaurant week lunch menu. It is unbelievable for 15.18.I highly recommend the baby spinach salad and salmon over orzo and by the way Jack was fantastic!!!!
We were at M&S for lunch during restaurant week. Started off with the baby spinach salad which was excellent. That was followed firecracker shrimp tacos which were delicious. The desert was creme brulee and that good.
We had a very comfortable booth.
The service was very professional.
When we left, we all said "Great Lunch".
We have visited some of the other M & S restaurants and throughly enjoyed ourselves but that was not the case here. Arrived and were immediately seated on a slow Monday night and waited almost 10 minutes for our server to come to our table. While we were waiting we couldn't help but notice that there was dried food on the picture on the wall in our booth. My guess was someone broke open a crab leg and it spattered. That should have tipped us off for what was ahead. Drink orders were taken along w/apps and entrees following drinks coming to table.
The 1/2dozen clams on the half shell were among the smallest I've seen. The salad my wife had was mixed greens & walnuts with a flavorful light white vinegar dressing. My rib eye was cooked as ordered but the 3 pieces of flounder my wife had were over cooked and appeared to be frozen. I did not order any sides with the steak and noticing that our server graciously offered green beans as the vegetable of the day which I accepted. Green beans and rice also came with the fish but the beans on both plates were soggy and cold . We waited for our server to return and ask how we were enjoying our meal but she did not come back. I was more than half way through my steak when I left the table to look for our server whom I could not find so I went to the entrance and found the manager and brought him to our table where we asked if the vegetables were cooked to order. He said yes. We explained that ours were cold and soggy he took both orders and left, then returned with replacements that were warmer but as we concluded made from frozen as well. When our server finally returned to our table she had been informed about our interaction with the manager and apologized for her absence saying she was busy with a large party. M & S at Harrahs needs some help to bring it up to the standards of the other locations that bear their name and until that happens our advice is to avoid this location under it's current management.
Stopped by for Atlantic City restaurant week and was glad I did. Had lunch with a fixed price menu which included apps, entrée and dessert. The food was very good and service was excellent. Because in a fixed price menu the value was exceptional, would recommend.
The food was not what was on menu for resturant week, salmon was suppose to be over pasta it was not chicken over cooked . NOT AT ALL WHAT WE EXPECTED
One of our favorite Atlantic City restaurants. We went for lunch during restaurant week. We were staying overnight at Harrah's. We were seated promptly. It was a little annoying the way they pushed the Landry's frequent diner program for $25. The service was prompt. The food was great as always. We had the crab soup (with a little kick) and salad which were good. We both had the fish tacos which were good, with a side of sticky rice. The dessert of mini-creme brulee was good but tiny. Overall a great and reasonably priced restaurant.
Our service was excellent. Deborah, our server, described the menu for us, made some recommendations, and was generally very efficient. We were here for restaurant week. I had expected more than one seafood item of the choice of 4 entrees on the price fixed menu. My pecan crusted salmon was excellent! We will return -
Typically this restaurant has good service and excellent food. Since it was Restaurant Week and the place was busy both service and food declined in quality.
The pre-fixe menu was good but not very warm.
The hostess was rude and the server was nice but overwhelmed and messed up our check.
It’s only fair to mention that when we mentioned these issues to restaurant management, they seemed responsive.
Disappointed quite a few of the appetizers were not available and our waiter didn't seem like he wanted to be there.
This was the most horrible food i have ever had. The steak i ordered was medium it was well done and awful. The stuffed shrimp was disgusting, the short ribs were far from short ribs it tasted like pot roast. Even the bread that was served first tasted like burnt plastic. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.
We had a really bad experience. We were all me a party of four .Our waitress was not very friendly and and way too busy to give us undivided attention. Took 45 minutes to get my first drink which was an espresso martini. My friends ordered glasses of wine and it took 30 minutes for them to be delivered. My girlfriend ordered bronzino Fish and it had so many bones in it she had to return it. I had the stuff salmon and it was excellent. Calamari was undercooked and cold. For the amount of money it was definitely not worth it. Terrible overall Since he’s big night out or far and few in between I definitely wish we had choose another restaurant.
Food was great, as usual. Our server was really poor; if this had been my first time at this restaurant, I would not return.
We were there for an Anniversary celebration. The food and service were great. The only disappointment was that they had run out of ginger beer for Raspberry Mules. The M&S iced tea was a good second choice, though!
Waiter was great! Food was great, but the restaurant had many moths flying around table and in Restaurant bar area. Which was kinda gross. For the money we spent I dont think we should have had to shoe moths from our table.
Nice setting and private curtains were a plus.
Good service and food
Great service and good food. They have nice quiet tables as well.
The food was amazing! I had the shrimp kisses for an appetizer and the Alaskan crab legs.
This is my "go to" restaurant. Our server Kim was fantastic as always! She recommended the oysters that are flown in from the West Coast for M&S. They were fantastic! All and all a great evening!
Server was not attentive. The main entrees were barely like warm. Expensive for the quality of food. Salad was good as was the lobster bisque.
Absolutelyyyy delicious all around! I will be back!
Service was excellent. We thought the food was pretty good. Not too over priced like some of the restaurants can be. Wide selection of items on the menu as well. Staying at Harrahs, it was easy to get to.
This restaurant in AC is consistently excellent. The fish is always fresh and the service and ambiance great.
Excellent service, and food.
