The food and staff were amazing and I would highly recommend this restaurant. I tried the stuffed salmon for the first time and I was very impressed.

It wasn’t that busy on a Friday night. Our server was nice. It took a while for our food to come out, but it was good. Their seafood is pretty decent.

We specified it was our Anniversary on the Open Table reservation. We waited a while for our server to take our drink order. The appetizer arrived promptly. As the restaurant filled up with a large party of business men, we began to wait a long time for our dinner to arrive. Once dinner arrived, we ordered a drink. The waiter came back with the drink after we had finished the entire meal and when we told him it took too long he just said You dont want it? And took the drink back when we said no. He should have apoligized and comped the iced tea. We got no acknowledgemnt of our special occassion. Nor were we offered the dessert menu. We chose this restaurant to enjoy and celebrate but we decided it was $84 bill and no celebration. Disappointing!

My husband and I are both veterans of the United States Air Force. McCormick & Schmick's Seafood restaurant provided free meals from a special menu for all veterans. I ordered cedar plank salmon and my husband ordered beef medallions. The staff was so courteous, and friendly, and eager to please. We enjoyed our free meals very much. What a generous gift from McCormick & Schmick's Seafood restaurant!

First of all, the restaurant did not have the entree I wanted. I selected the blackened chicken fettuccine as a replacement. I received a bowl of noodles with exactly 2 small pieces of grilled chicken (not even blackened). About 1/8 inch by 1 inch. Exactly 2 pieces of bell pepper. Maybe 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch. The sauce was very good but there was no garnishment and it looked awful. The restaurant staff were were pleasant and professional and the environment was pleasant. The appetizer and my spouses entree were very good. The value of my spouses entree was not very good as 4 medium scallops and a Half cup of side dish for $30.00 was a little lacking. I thank them for the free veterans meal but it wasn't worth the 30 mile trip.

Other than a 40 minute wait to be seated when we had reservations, service from our server was attentive and good. The salmon on cedar plank was terrific. Salmon with rigatoni was good.

This restaurant always provides outstanding food.

Sunday night was extremely busy. Although we had booked reservations well in advance we experienced a 45 minute seating delay. The service was also very very slow.

Food was relatively good, however as noted by other diners, service is terrible. Almost walked out after being seated since no one came to the table to take our order. Had to find someone at the end so we could pay the bill and leave. Nice restaurant, however work needs to be done to improve service especially at their price point.

They were admittedly short staffed when we went. Daniel, the manager, was superb, had great wine knowledge and stepped up when our waiter was absent. But somewhere in the evening, we were turned back over to our waiter and it was a little downhill from there. We ordered coffee with our dessert, sipped the coffee, finished the coffees, and after having finished the coffee left after waiting an additional 25 minutes with no dessert. They were sending them to the table as we were walking out the door, so they did pack them to go. But when you are paying that kind of money for a meal (which is a treat for us) it's a little frustrating. Again, they apologized up front that they were short staffed. I believe two servers and the hostess called out that evening.

But even the food was just, eh. I mean I could have made similar salmon at home. The beef medallions were good, but there was nothing dynamic or unique in the sauces or plating.

The restaraunt itself is lovely and the location is good.

Food was OK. A little over priced. Beer was not that cold. Calamari was weird. Who puts fried carrots in that dish? The waitress was great. Biggest problem is that someone was smoking pot in the bathroom.

Lump crab stuffed shrimp was amazing. I would have rated 5 stars, but the food came out barely warm. Not good considering we arrived as soon as the restaurant opened. Service was great and very accommodating to our occasion.

This was my first time. I was looking for an establishment in the Dunwoody area for a business lunch meeting that would be quiet enough for us to hear. One of the attendees was a frequent guest and easily recommended it. I was surprised at how few people were dining during the lunch hour but the recommender was right. Hard to go wrong with the fare as well. Will certainly try it some more for either Sundays, as part of a lunch rotation for my office, and for the special occasion.

We were seated in the bar because there was so much noise in the dining room. The bar tender was assigned as our waiter and clearly didn't know or care much about waiting on a table. The food was food but seemed like it had been under the warner too long.
It was a Saturday night and the place was pretty empty except for a couple loud large groups. In years back the place would have been packed on a Saturday night. It is clearly a restaurant in decline.

We had a much better experience with McCormick & Schmick's than the last time we ate there, although given the much smaller crowds this time, I felt that turnaround time on the food was still not as prompt as it could have been. Our server was attentive, however, regularly checking in and ensuring our drinks were refilled, and the food, as always, was outstanding. The ingredients were top quality, and the presentation and taste were precisely what we were looking for. If you have the time to enjoy a slower-paced meal, then you will relish this restaurant, beautifully appointed with stained glass, rich woods, and local artifacts, displayed tastefully on the walls.

My husband and I came for my birthday. I put it was my birthday in the notes and it wasn’t acknowledged. What’s the point in offering notes if no one bothers to look at them. Our waitress was nice and attentive however my food was the worst. The best thing on my plate was the mashed potatoes. My steak wasn’t seasoned at all and it was undercooked (almost) rare in the center of the steak and I ordered it medium well. This wasn’t the first time I’ve had a bad food experience at McCormick & Schmick’s just at another location. My husband however got some medallions and a lobster tail and he was very pleased with his meal, I on the other hand will not be returning.

AveHaven't been in a number of years and we thought we a side itemwould try again, proved to be a mistake. Food tastes the same, service still a disaster, and nothing to write home about.

We haven't returned because the food was either at average or below. I had crab cakes which came from the kitchen room temperature and tasteless. My wife had salmon which the super market version would have tasted better. The potatoes she had as side item, tasted like there fried and refrigerator and re fried.

All in all, this was a mistake to come back thinking the M & S would have changed over the years, which it did........it goes worse
