Everyone’s food was prepared well but the service was very slow.
This is the spot to hang out between games. But coming to this place just for fun is not so fun because of the bad area surrounding it and the parking.
I brought my girl and her mom. The food came out quick and was delicious... we all had fish and requested knives and it took 15 mins for him to bring our knives and drinks to us. He kept forgetting our request. We didn’t have salt or pepper on our table and he kept forgetting about us. Ruined the experience.
Great service and food!
Everyone was great from the time I entered the door, I couldn’t have chosen a better place to take my fiancé for his birthday. It was our 1st visit and can’t wait to visit again. Thank you all for your great hospitality and great FOOD!!!
The waitress was slow. Didn’t offer us bread and forgot my salad!! Ugh! Nice place, but did not go smoothly for us:(
Water had a bad taste to it! Filet was a terrible cut. Lobster bisque was like tomato basil. Mashed potatoes were cold. Terrible meal for the price!
Took 15 mins to get drinks, main entree was taken back 2times and then brought back out wrong meal was definitely not worth $240 but waiters were nice and helpful.
Every thing was tasty good I will be back next weekend.
Worst meal I’ve ever had at a restaurant.
Waited 20 minutes at the bar for a drink while the bartender searched for vermouth. Ordered calamari and had bits of white fish mixed in with the calamari. Two individuals at the table ordered parmasian crusted flounder with butternut squash orzo and received small strips of dry fish that clearly was not flounder. It came with lumpy mashed potatoes. The shredded carrots had one large piece of carrot that was the last bit the carrot that was thrown in. The waitress brought out the butternut squash orzo as a replacement for the potatoes which was warm long grain white rice.
The food is not at all what the menu says it is.
The food was excellent! I absolutely loved the mushroom spinach dish and my steak was very tasty. I didn’t get to try desserts so now I have a reason to return.
Have eaten here previously prior to an event at Phillips and it was great. However, this time the service was horrible and the food was served cold. We did not send it back because it took so long to get it that we missed the beginning of the concert. So disappointed. When I inquired nicely if there was some sort of an issue, I was told the staff was tired from being so busy the previous two nights and they were not aware of the concert (which I found hard to believe)! We were on time for our 5:15 reservation but repeatedly told it would be five more minutes even though the restaurant was virtually empty.
They never have the tables ready on time, they took way too long on each step, taking drink orders, food orders etc. it took over 2.5 hours to get our food from reservation time. On the positive, they have nice private booths for a party of 6 where they can close a door and keep the noise level down. Excellent menu and the food was tasty.
With a 5 PM reservation to make a concert, we were seated at 5:45. Waiter was great getting us out, but we had to cut out appetizers and dessert
The food was excellent! The people were super friendly. However, the service was so SLOW!!!! We allowed ourselves plenty of time before we had to leave for a concert at Phillips, but anyone else would have been pressed for time. Other than that, everything was wonderful!
I also left my cell phone on the table & we returned & were so thankful that the staff delivered it with no issues!! Thank you!
The food was very good some of the sides were cold and our waitress was very good. The dessert was mouth watering good. This was our second time in the downtown Atl location would certainly go again !
Had a reservation for 7:45pm and did not get seated until 8:20pm. We had been told twice about 10 minutes apart they were cleaning a table for us. When we sat down there were 4 empty tables and only one group of 3 had left the area. Just be honest with your customers.
Food was average and not worth the price. Would not pick again for a business dinner.
The good...Food was great & service (Paige) was excellent. The bad...restaurant was colder than outside which was unseasonably chilly. The AC was obviously stuck on high and we were so cold we couldn’t enjoy our dining experience at all. Management acknowledged the problem but offered no solution.
Service was slow, out of several items on the menu however food was good. A little disappointed for a Landry property for the prices charges. Very noisy and not that busy.
Service was unbelievably slow.
Excellent as always! Food was great and service was prompt. Did a Birthday dinner and they made it nice.
Excellent food and excellent perfect Patron margarita. The service was a little slow due to confusion on whose table I was, but it was great service after they sorted that out. Highly recommend!
Had the perfect birthday dinner there with my wife.
The food quality was sub par considering the price you pay. The Alaskan King Crab legs flavor and texture tasted was as if they were stored in the freezer for a year. My daughters filet was over cooked and not the quality we expected.
Good, asked for filet medium but came out well done. Everything had good flavor
This was my first visit to the restaurant and I had a great experience.
The most meh expensive meal ever. Long wait for the food too.
Waiter Kamari provided outstanding service, the best we have experienced at an M&S in the last five years. Food was delicious. Restaurant was loud, but it was busy.
We arrived on time, but we waited 15 for an odd shaped corner table. Server forgot veggies. Crab was overcooked. Lobster was fine but very small 3 oz at best. Drinks were good.
Only came here because we were on vacation. Would never come back.
Surf and turf was outstanding. Got a total of 8 lobsters because they where just that good
I took my boyfriend out for his birthday, and the service was exceptional! Our server, Eddy, was phenomenal, and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great time bringing in my man’s special day! Thank you for creating a wonderful memory for the two of us!
Date night with family.
Wine selection was great. Server knew her stuff. Entrees were superb. Loved it.
Worst dining experience that I have ever experienced. I waited 45 min after being seated for my appetizer to arrive. Once my entree was brought to the table, it was ice cold. There were several tables who were also waiting for an extended period of time for their meals. I requested to see the manager but apparently she was too busy to speak to me. I waited to speak with her for more than 15 min to share my experience and she never came over to speak with me. Awful service, terrible food!
Didn’t really enjoy this place the waitress was kinding rushing and slow on bringing things you ask for and checking on you . And they were out of steaks
People that arrived after us, with the same size party, were seated before us. We waited 30 minutes to be seated when the dining room was half empty. Our server was non-existent and my pasta dish was inedible. The kids chicken tenders were served with 4 French fries total.
While the food itself tasted relatively good, it arrived to the table cold, which for seafood in my opinion, makes it a little less palatable.
Nice atmosphere and waitress was great 👍🏾!!! Small portions plates but , the taste and presentation of the meal looks and taste great . I recommend the salmon. Reservations are a must or you will be waiting , being that the restaurant is at the CNN center. We made reservations for 7:15 and we were seated by 7:17 ....
Arrived at 615pm for a 645pm reservation. Was advised I would be seated closer to reservation time. I watched people arriving after me be seated up to 645pm. I saw one hostess point to another couple who arrived after me and call their name as Williams. I went to hostess station 3 times AFTER 650pm asking about our table and waitress kept telling me I would be seated soon. Another hostess asked my name 4 times and I gave it to her. Finally after 7pm and watching more parties arrive and be seated when I had been waiting an hour for my seat I told hostess this was unacceptable and I needed a manager. Finally, waitress seated me and advised they thought they had already seated me. Definitely set the scene for a horrible dining experience! Especially for a $140 meal! Not sure I will be going back. 😢
My first McCormick & Schmidt experience was in Raleigh NC. I had a Ribeye Steak and my wife had the King Crab Leg. Thought it was one of the best meals I'd had recently. What a disappointment in Atlanta. Had a Ribeye. Tuff & Dry. No flavor. Ordered the Roasted Potatoes and got maybe a 1/4 to a 1/2 of a potato. My wife ordered the Scallops and I promise they were no bigger than a Quarter and there was only 4. Not a good meal.
