Great environment! The atmosphere was cozy and comfy. My pasta was slightly uncooked but I enjoyed the dining experience.
Clam Chowder was delicious, you can cut the fillet with a fork and the asparagus was delicious. Waitstaff is very attentive and very pleasant. Eat there every time I’m in town and I’ve never been disappointed!
I drove 45 min to eat here and looked at the menu online. When I got there I was given a limited event menu as they said it would allow them to make it faster and it took long and was cold. Both my husband and I did not feel well that night from the food.
Food was great, service from both the host and our server (Monique) was spectacular. Restaurant was very nice and we’ll definitely come again. However, the one small detail I’ll negatively comment on is the tear open pre-packaged honey my wife received for her tea - we felt based on a restaurant like M&S they would provide honey in a nicer container.
The food was delicious. The sevice is always excellent! We just love this restaurant and the location.
The service was very unprofessional for the price! From the hostess to the wait staff! I love the restaurant unfortunately I will not be back to this location! I prefer VA Beach or Raleigh.
The atmosphere was warm. The food & service was excellent.
Very disappointed, for the amount that it cost I expected a much different outcome.
One steak came out with a weird smell, the other steak was way over cooked. Our drinks took way to long to get. At 430 in the afternoon the restaurant wasn't busy.
I do not recommend this location to anyone.
Hostess and waitresses needs more training in customer service. Bartender was excellent food was great.
It was our first time at this location. Service was OK but the food took a while to come. They got my wife’s order wrong. I miss the Dunwoody location that closed a few years ago. This CNN location just isn’t up to par for a special occasion.
I have special dietary needs. I retrieved the online menu and carefully planned my meal. Upon arrival, the server informed me that the online menu was not available. I was very disappointed.
It was a great experience. Nice setting for the occasion. I will be back
it was decent but not a Top 10. Not a bad option if you are stuck in Atlanta
Valentines dinner before Alan Jackson concert . Food and service was wonderful. The lobster bisque is the best I’ve ever had
Really enjoyed the food especially the seasonal cheesecake. My salmon was over cooked but the manger was more than happy to replace it with something else and reduced the bill.
Always amazing food and ambiance!! Our server was young, but very professional and sweet. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!
Everything was great, my wife and I had a fantastic dinner.
Our server, Candice, was excellent! She was very thoughtful and kind and handled my friend well who spent the entire evening giving her a hard time in a playful way. The food was very tasty and came out quickly. My only pause was that my steak and stuffed shrimp weren't piping hot--seemed that both had been sitting for a little while. However, I was able to quickly get my steak placed back on the grill and all was well. Overall, a very good experience and I will return whenever I am back in Atlanta for business or pleasure.
The food was just ok, nothing special and the noise level was crazy loud. You could not here your dining companion at the table. We couldn't even have a conversation. We ate and got out of there as fast as we could. It was an asssembly line and revolving door for dinner. Not special at all. Will not go back or recommend.
We had an an Open Table reservation at 6:30 prior to the Eagles concert at 7:30. There was a long line and wait for tables and you could sense the tension. The hostess seated us immediately to our great surprise! Our waiter from Kansas City was great. I wish I could remember his name!
We made a reservation for dinner prior to going to the Eagles concert on Feb 11. The reservation was for 6 since the concert was next door and didn't start til 7:30. We arrived at 5:45 and checked in with the hostess. She said she would check us in. We expected that due to the large crowd waiting when we got there we would have to wait but figured that we would get seated very close to on time and we were given on communication to think otherwise. After hearing others complain of their long wait, we got drinks from the bar, but after waiting 10-15 past our reservation time we asked for an estimate. We were told it would be about 15 more minutes. Then we were asked if we would be willing to "share" a table with other couples. In order to get to the concert we agreed. We were sat on the enclosed patio (where it was freezing!) We had friendly wait staff, but the service with drinks and food was extremely slow even though they knew we were all trying to make the concert on time. Food was forgotten or arrived out of order, bread was promised to "hold us over" and arrived after the food. I don't know if the restaurant wasn't prepared for the crowd or if this is how it is all the time, but for my first trip to McCormick's, it didn't make me want to come back. The saving grace was my husband loved his meal, as the night was a gift to him.
Everything was great, except, we made a 6:00 reservation for a reason and did not get seated until 6:40. This made us have to rush our great meal and not enjoy it the way it should have been enjoyed.
There was a concert on the might we went to M&S, and we made a reservation well in advance. We were seated within 5 minutes of reservation, which is fantastic. DJ was our server, and he was great.
Everything was fine except our service was terrible.
Drinks took forever. Food was not real hot so it was sitting.
Food took forever to come. Never saw our server; always gone. Other tables that came after us got everything before us. They came after and left before us.
The food was exceptional.
This is the second time I been to this establishment before an event at the arena. On each occasion the restaurant was total chaos. Noise level extremely loud. Service very slow and not able to accommodate a crowd. The restaurant was obviously overbooked which resulted in everyone’s reservations for seating being delayed. My fish was overdone and my vegetables were burned. I have been to this restaurant on other occasions where the food and service was much better.
My friend and I both had really good service and food. I was hoping for friend shrimp, but it wasn't on the menu. When I told our server, she said she would make sure I had my shrimp. She came through for me and the shrimp was delicious.
The food was delicious today! I had the blackened chicken and fettuccine.
It was pleasant and good.
Excellent food and outstanding service. Very quite and relaxed atmosphere. I would very much recommend to my friends.
The food was just ok. The service was horrendous. We were there for a Birthday celebration and were very excited to go here. We love the Chicago location and thought it would be similar. Nope. We had to ask for everything. Our dinner came after 1 hour. No dessert menu. No Birthday dessert. Our salad plates stayed on the table. Our wine never arrived. Beyond disappointed.
SLOW service. We came at 4:05pm on a Sunday, just after they opened. Fewer than a dozen customers in the restaurant -- more waitstaff than customers. Our service was incredibly slow. It took 30 minutes for our salads to arrive. The salad was missing the advertised bleu cheese crumbles, and we had to bring that to the attention of the waiter, who said he knew, but just didn't tell us about it. Then it took another 30 minutes for the entree (it was a 3 course meal for two. Shared entree) to arrive. The meat and vegetables were COLD. I tasted the meat and it was delicious, but cold. We sent the food back, and got another entree/veg 15 minutes later. It was hot, but the root vegetables (roasted medley) were hard, as if waved over the flame but not cooked at all. The carrots could not be cut with a sharp steak knife. Also, the microgreens on the first plate of potatoes were missing on the replacement potatoes. We finally got our desserts, which were delicious and hot (creme brulee), and coffee. All in all it took us 2 hours to eat a meal, that should have taken maybe 1 1/4 hours if service were more timely.
Great food and wait staff. The bar was overcrowded and I tried 4 times (35 mins) to get a waitress to take our drink orders. They never did. I finally made my way to the bar and ordered our drinks.
The dinner was fabulous and our waiter was awesome. The food was delicious.
The mixed greens salad with walnuts was listed as having blue cheese crumbles but the restaurant was out of blue cheese. The entres were served before we were halfway through the salad. The ahi tuna was listed as served with baby bok choy but came with an over cooked grand daddy bok choy and cold mashed potatoes.
Booked for a 6:15 reservation. Did not get seated until 6:40. It was a busy concert night, but the hostess told folks with reservations it would be 5-10 minutes wait after their reserved time. Waiting area was crammed. Sign said capacity is 216 people. I know there were at least 300+ people there, including the bar area. Food was AMAZING!!!
A great place to dine before a concert at State Farm Arena. Make sure you have reservations!
It was a very crowded pre concert restaurant waiting for The Eagles show, challenging! Our reservation was 5:45 and we were seated just a few minutes late, no worries!
Front desk is very seamless!
Our server, Adrianna, was very efficient and took good care of us. It was a full dining room and barely elbow room in the bar.
Pre dinner drinks were very prompt, and well prepared!
Food was timed very well, to appetizers! Kitchen was rocking!
Both selections for dinner, stuffed shrimp, bone in ribeye, were excellent! In and out in perfect timing.
For a concert, 1)pre pay parking, 2)use open table for dinner reservations, 3) and enjoy the show, hassle free!
Compliments to all, we’ll be back!
Reservation was at 5:30, arrived at 5, waited until 5:32 to be seated, table we were given was empty the whole time we waited. Food was ok but not worth price. Shrimp was tough and tasteless. Once seated service was fast.
Friendly but horrible service. Had a reservation and showed up to a ton of empty tables. Still had to wait 15 minutes past our reservation to be seated. Waited 10-15 minutes for a server to come to our table. Ordered drinks appetizers and meal all at once. Waited 15 minutes and got our water. Still no cocktail or even mention of it being on the way. 15 minutes later we got up and left. So 40-45 minutes and only water nothing else brought or even mentioning drinks are on the way is pure ridiculous. Will not being going back
Average at best. Waiter was absent a lot of the time and when we did see him we had to flag him down.
