The ambiance was ok... The food was just tolerable... I found myself trying to like the food because of the price but if I’m being honest it just wasn’t good.
Dined here again for the 2nd night in a row. Been here many, many times. First night, service was great. 2nd night, had a reservation nearby but after 2 days at the gift market, I didn’t want to eat at 8pm. Couldn’t change that reservation. So we went back. We were staying at the Hotel @ CNN. So convenient. Waiter 2nd night was nice, however he had to come back to write down drink order. Then had to ask for olives for drink. Took the longest time ever for calamari appetizer. 3 min after they arrived, dinner, really?
Sent it back. When dinner arrived the 2nd time, I think it had been hit w finishing salt a 2nd time love the convenience of this place. Food has always been good. I think the problem is the lack of available work staff. We need to worry less about the Hispanic Population and more about the so-called administration and the policies that have created this problem.
We come every gift market and entertain customers there. I was at your restaurant 3 times this week. Entertaining 3 different clients. The service on sat night was the worst we ever had there. And it wasn’t that busy. Our server needs training. It won’t keep us from not returning. Food is excellent but it affected the tip we gave her.
It was our first time in Atlanta and wanted to sit by the window. They cleaned the table and we enjoyed watching the People walk by. The food was outstanding just let me we remember up in Virginia. The waiter was awesome too. Thank you and we will be back.
Everything was on point, it was my wife's birthday and its was perfect. The food, waiter, seating booth and so much more. We will ve going again.
👍🏻great stayed at CNN. VERY convonient
We were seated and it took a half an hour before someone came to the table. Then it took at least 20 minutes before we got a drink. At least 25 minutes for we got our salad. My filet shaped like a hockey puck was not cooked at the right temperature and did not have a fresh taste.
My friends New York strip was very good. This aspararagus
New York strip was very good.
And a top it all off we ordered dessert to go and it literally took a half an hour. We were not apologize to or no one came by to say anything we were very patient and did not complain but it was obvious how tired and disappointed we were.
The price is very high for the service and food quality which was felt more like a low-end restaurant. .
Great food, great service!
Very nice restaurant but the service was very slow. It wasn’t just the service that was the problem. The food was very mediocre. Our server was very pleasant and helpful when she arrived but she was too busy to keep up. We waited way too long considering the price we paid for our meal. Food was non special. All 3 of us were underwhelmed by our meals. Will not be going back anytime soon. Would definitely not recommend
The food was amazing. They were very busy however our server was great.
We go there for the oyster options; this time there were 4--all very tasty. The place wasn't crowded but the service was slow. Our server was very pleasant, though she was spared thin as she apparently was responsible for clearing tables and delivering food--there were no bus people or food delivery people in sight, which in other dining experiences seems to speed the service.
Went during happy hour. The prices were great and food quality was good. Service was awful. I would not return to this location. We had at least 4 service assist use but no one checked on us wwithout asking. No water refills or additional food or drink without flagging someone down.
Must go and enjoy!!!
The environmen was good but I expected the food to be better! It was dry and over cooked, and over priced
PACKING FEE WAS HIGH AND INCONVENIENCE. HAD TO PAY $20.00 FOR PACKING
Wow...what great service! We arrived early for our 7:45pm reservation and the smiling hostess greeted us and was only too happy to seat us immediately in a private booth. This was great for our 2 grandsons and their mom and dad...quite and private.
Our food was delivered promptly and it was well prepared. However, my lobster tails were slightly rubbery...over cooked. The tuna entre was excellent. Desserts were OK...the chocolate mouse was more like solid ganache...and hard to eat too much of. Key lime pie was good and the connaom ice cream was excellent!
Great food!! Ambience is good but can be better, some more lighting. Crowd is noisy.
Worst dining ever and poor service. They miss handled the parking voucher which created a return trip to restaurant... manger & waitress said they made mistake. offered nothing !!!! Ruined the special occasion.
Terrible value , I’m MS club member but I will cancel it
Our experience was great. Or waiter made great recommendations and was prompt and polite.
Swordfish and scallops were amazing!!! Armani was a fabulous server. Great experience all around.
Has to wait Long time between a plate and other. Good food
Our server Imania was very good. The Lobster Bisque was execllent with plenty of lobster in it. The Cajun Chicken Pasta and the Salmon Pesto Pasta were a bit dry for our taste and needed more sauce, which they brought to us without question. Imania surprised us with a "Happy Date Night" dessert that was scrumptous.
The ambiance was great. The staff at the greeting section was very nice and accommodating, the staff at the adjacent bar was very nice. My server was amazing. I had to hide a surprise for father’s day and they were great with helping. They even threw in a free dessert when bringing my gifts out.
OK first off waitress brought out sweet tea which was unsweetened and then we had to wait about 3030 maybe at that I look maybe about 30 minutes before she brought some sweet tea out. food was horrible on my end shrimp with cold crabcake not good ,salmon was overcooked , stuff shrimp not good. I asked for potatoes with peas & carrot they brought me spinach food was horrible my I caught them on a bad day
First time dining here. Went here to celebrate daughter's 21st b-day. The positives: Lump crab stuffed shrimp was good. Not dry or overcooked. (Not a very big portion, though.) Our Server was very knowledgeable about menu items and provided many recommendations. It was not crowded at all for a Sunday evening. Parking across the street was very convenient. ($15 for 2 hours)
Areas for improvement:
Why have a reservation if the establishment is not even going to look at it? 5 hostesses (or staff) were at the stand when we arrived at 5:30. Only 4 visible tables that were occupied. Requested a booth on the reservation since there were 4 of us and we wanted to be able to talk. Were sat at a table near an aisle and another loud group. Asked the server if we could move to any of the ALL empty booths and told sorry, that won't be my station. The group sat after us was taken to a booth. Also, why ask if we are celebrating any occasions if you aren't going to do anything to acknowledge the occasion?
The crab cakes that my daughter ordered had no sauce and were a tad dry. An interesting thing at the end of the meal was the server asking us if we would like her to add 20% tip to our bill for our convenience. Huh? Did she think that we couldn't handle providing a decent tip? With tip, bill came to $225 for 3 adults and 1 child. And this was without any alcoholic drinks.
Family reunion and the restaurant selection was outstanding! Service was exceptional! Would definitely go again.
This was a great place to celebrate our anniversary. The waitress was very friendly and we were given a free dessert. As an added bonus for me a reality show celebrity was checking out as we were leaving.
Our service overall was very good. Our server Misty was very attentive, but not overbearing.
Our only disappointment was that this was the first time that I could not use the CNN parking deck due to several streets closed off because of a bicycling event on Marietta Blvd. We had to pay $10 at a lot 2 blocks away, that was on a surface of rocks. I normally get my parking ticket validated by the restaurant in the parking deck.
Worst dining experience ever! Party of five and four meals were returned to the kitchen. Two of those orders were filet that was actually a very small piece of over salted beef not even close to filet. Two other meals were halibut. It was over cooked and rubbery. You could pick it up and shake it. Unacceptable! When we asked to speak to the manager, who was actually filling in for a general manager who had left for the day, she apologized, offered to replace, we refused, took steak, left halibut and never returned to our table again. The bill arrived with a 25 percent discount. We could not believe it. We had to track her down to get the bill adjusted appropriately. Never again will I step foot in this restaurant.
Food was fair. Quanity was almost perfect. We felt we sat too close to the next table despite not many people being there. I've had better lobster tails and couldn't taste the alcohol in my drink.
I did appreciate our dessert got comp because it was our anniversary.
I was in town with a large group to see Hamilton. The CNN Foodcourt was our appointed dinner location, with dinner being on our own. A handful of us felt that since we were about to take in a phenomenal event, the occasion should be marked with a nice, sit down meal, versus just grabbing something from one of the many fast food options. We only had roughly one hour to eat before rejoining our group, so I made a reservation via the Opentable app in advance. Because of the dynamics of traveling with a group, I ended up having to move the reservation to a later time, multiple times, but we had no problem being accommodated. I informed our waitress if our time constraint as soon as we met her and she ensured us that she would service us expeditiously, which she and the other behind-the-scenes staff did. We also had two birthdays in our party and she even bought us two desserts at the end of our meal, to boot. The food was good, with prices you’d expect of such an establishment and in this location. Overall a very nice experience. I would love to visit a location again in the future when I’m not so rushed.
Wonderful service and amazing food! Highly recommend for special occasions or when your craving a great steak!
The wait time for receiving my dinner was by far the longest wait ever! DO BETTER!!!!
Be sure to review your check. I was overcharged by a greedy server. The food was excellent, but my server dampened the experience.
Initially I was disappointed because I made a reservation for the Memorial Day lunch and was redirected to the date and time that I selected (Wednesday 12:15 pm).
The hostess explained to me that was only for Monday.
I decided to stay for lunch because I did like the feel of the establishment even though I was not getting the "special"
Service and Food was excellent. I intend to return with my family.
Great Place. They provided a meal for me and my fiancee for Veterans for Memorial Day.
First Time here . The food was excellent, service efficient, servers friendly, they even validate parking. I will definitely be back.
My experience was awesome regarding food quality. However, waiter should be more informative regarding menu breakdown of prices in absence of physical menu being that this was my first time visiting. Table silverware was not clean with smears on fork/knives and wait time for an "Arnold Palmer" was a little over 10 minutes. Other than the wonderful ambience/food quality, the waiters and management should be more sensitive to overall cleanliness and quality customer service of which is important. Thank you
We had a fabulous dinner! Celebrated my hubby's sacrifice in the Vietnam War, and all our current military and other veterans! M&S honored vets with a free lunch/dinner! Their food is so good!
We had a 4:30pm reservation. We arrived at 4:25pm and watched at least 5 different parties arrive after us (without reservations) and be seated. We were seated 30miniturs later with 10 empty tables around us. They were not busy, just seemed uninterested and made us stand for 35 minutes.
