Excellent Excellent Excellent Excellent Excellent
As always everything was excellent...………………………………………….
May be the best clam chowder I've ever had! We enjoyed the calamari appetizer which was a surprisingly large portion for two. Their bread is delicious and I really loved my cedar roasted salmon too. Service was outstanding...all in all, a very satisfying experience and we will be back again.
We return each year. This is where I proposed to my now wife 16 years ago-outside after a great meal.
As expected from McCormick & Smick's, the food at the Harborside location was excellent. It is a great place to go with family, friends, or as a couple.
The Salmon Rigatoni was very flavorful and had a an abundance of perfectly cooked pieces of salmon, artichoke and mushrooms in a great creamy sauce over the rigatoni pasta. It looked and smelled as good as it tasted.
The restaurant was pretty crowded at noon but not too noisy and the staff was VERY efficient.
Service was quick and attentive without being overly so and very accommodating to this disabled veteran's eating disorder.
My spouse had Fish and Chips. It had large pieces of solid cod with just the right amount of coating. The fries that came with it were not to her liking though as they were seasoned with Old Bay. The waitress quickly resolved that with a freshly prepared order that was only lightly salted.
We actually had enough for another meal!
Lovely location with great food.
The food and service were excellent. I had not been there for lunch in years (dinner, yes but not lunch). The lunch menu is a better menu!
The downside for me was the restaurant telling me that my/our Landry number couldn't be used at lunch. Points are points, right? That was the only downside....
The service was amazing. There were two things that were really troubling for this caliber of restaurant. We were seated near a service station on the first level. The view was amazing our server was fantastic but the constant flow of people right next to our table was awful. It was distracting and a constant wave if air and traffic right at dinner level.
The other issue was i ordered the lobster they were on the very very small side. I orderd the three and it was rather unusual to see this size tail in such a fine quality of restraunt.
Wait staff spectacular. Thank you Kyle. Manager on duty, wonderful.
We generally like Harborside, but this time it was quite disappointing. We ordered the Sharing Special with a salad, an 18oz NY strip steak to share and a dessert to share. We are not big eaters, so thought it would be fine. However, the steak was a disappointment, mainly because several pieces were full of gristle. And, the steak, vegies and mashed potatoes were warm, not hot. The salads were great, the dessert was delicious, but this was no special.
The food and service was excellent! Came here for a birthday and they provided a special menu that said “Happy Birthday” for the celebrant. Our server was friendly and very attentive.
My small plate was excellent. My companion's grilled asparagas was so hard it could hardly be cut with a knife and was quite bitter. The replacement green peas (for the asparagas) were a little overcooked. Her grilled salmon was very good. The waiter tried to be helpful, but seemed lacking in understanding adopting to food allegeries.
Took our daughter and friend out and it was a wonderful experience, thank you
We came to this location for the first time. Not planning to come back though. The restaurant was ok, nothing fancy. The service was ok. The food was not good and pricey. The clam chowder was sour, other food were salty. $18 for a shot of bourbon with fancy prepare at the table, ikr. (the preparation of that was excellent)
The server was cold, and the food was more expensive than before.
As usual the Food and the staff were excellent. It is always an enjoyable dining experience.
Great scallops, the whole seabass was fabulous , and the twin lobster tails with mashed potatoes was out of tbis world. Beautiful river view and wonderful service.
The Crab & Shrimp Cakes were amazing! The best I've ever had! My husband had the Filet Mignon and it was so delicious and tender he raved about it. Service was friendly and outstanding. The view of the harbor was gorgeous. We really enjoyed the whole experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Harborside. You won't be disappointed!
Excellent as always. Always one of my first top of the line restaurants to take people for business and pleasure
We had 10 girls for a fantastic birthday lunch! 👍
I ordered the wood fired oven baked plank salmon and steamed veggies because I am Paleo. The salmon was delicious but sadly it was raw inside so I asked them to cook it. When I got it back they had put it on the grill with oil and totally ruined it. Instead of putting it back in the oven they took a short cut and put it on the grill with horrible tasking oil which is all I tasted when they brought it back. What a disappointment
Extremely dated, food was barely decent and no where near the price point they’re asking. Expected Del Frisco’s, Maestros or Ringside quality and got Red Lobster
Kathy was very attentive. The mussels were perfectly cooked! The lobster bisque was excellent! Thank you for a great meal. I also had an excellent view of the water.
Nice place, great food and service
Our waiter was great and the chocolate bag is fantastic.
Enjoyed our anniversary dinner! Food was delicious, service was amazing and the environment was perfect. Thank you!
Actually it was a birthday. But no one made a comment at the restaurant. Service was a little slow, had to grab another server a couple of times to get things ordered.
Had the rib eye was a little bland and not very hot. The other plates were good actor the others at the table.
This is THE LAST TIME I eat at this restaurant. I clearly ordered a salad and asked for the dressing on the SUDE. Instead I get a salad DRENCHED in dressing; lettuce so soaked it had no crunch. I didn’t want to wait for another salad. When you’re on a lunch break , how hard is it to understand time is limited. I’m a fan of this chain, but not in Portlandia where far to often servers don’t do a good job
We came to celebrate my Son’s Birthday! They seated us at a VIP Table with a view of the river. They also gave us menus that said Happy Birthday at the Top!
The food was good especially the stuffed halibut with crab! Yummy!
Overall, the experience was great, but parking is a headache, the decor needs a refresh, and the value was good only because we took advantage of a Landry's member special.
nice restaurant. Everyone was friendly and professional.
Food was very good.
Had a nice experience
I haven’t had crab legs in forever! Thank you for a fabulous meal and also for cracking open the legs to make it so much easier to access! ;)
Seated outside on a beautiful evening. Seating is on a public thoroughfare, both a plus and s minus. The food was excellent and the service staff gracious and attentive. The food and wine prices are on the high side.
Hand a shared 3 course steak meal and a great bottle of wine at a reasonable price. Service was excellent. View of the river was also nice
The fillet was unsatisfactory. This steak was equivalent of a Denny’s breakfast steak. It was small and not flavorful at all. The lemon chicken on top of the linguine was dry and had no flavor. Your restaurant has really gone down hill in terms of food. Waitress was great!
Great service and food, nice view of the Willamette Harbor. Good go-to for out of town friends.
Great view of the river!
Good formal ambience for an occasion. Good location with a view of the river and a good selection of sea food
Very disappointing preparation. Overly oily bread. Very cheesy orzo not mentioned on menu. There are much better fish restaurants in Portland
Great restaurant along the riverfront. Convenient to hotels on this part of town. Food and service didn’t disappoint.
