Excellent food, excellent service. We have dined here many times in the past and always have been very pleased with the entire experience. Thanks!
Ok we’ve been coming to M&S for over 15 years and are mostly very satisfied. Once in a while they miss the mark though and this was one. Service is always great. Food this time was a swing and a foul ball: tasted good, but one plate ( a supposed “special”) was way smaller than an appetizer which amazed us for $22. The other plate for $15 was way larger but the plate filled with greasy puddles. Didn’t make sense on both counts. Almost didn’t eat the greasy puddles but let it drip off first. We’d return but that was quite interesting.
Awesome experience an easy to make reservations online. Parking at this location was a bit of a problem in this wet dark snowy eveni gy
The fish was mushy the waiter got the order mixed up but the rockfish was terrible as was the salmon
Great dinner with my husband and son. All the food was amazing. Thank you!
The food tasted good, but it was very hot when it arrived. The server seemed disinterested at times. Asking if we wanted bread when there was already bread on the table.
Higher end dining. Good service both barkeep and table. Nice variety of seafood options. Little high priced. Little too loud due high ceiling, but otherwise nice atmosphere. Good for business lunch and dinners.
Great location and great ambiance. Great spot if you love seafood!
Our waiter was great, very good service! We will be back again.
Food was perfect best lobster I’ve ever had and not chewy! Great atmosphere and service was fantastic especially for being so busy.
I made Valentine’s Day reservations. When we arrived we were shuffled off into what was called the “overflow room”. We were seated back by where the food was run out from the kitchen and the room is brightly lit. Not romantic at all. We tried not to complain and make the best of it. Not ideal for a “special night”. We watched couple after couple look confused being brought into this room. I understand trying to accommodate large numbers of people wanting dinner out on 2/14 but I would rather have waited longer for a table in main room. We left feeling like we paid A LOT Of money for a second class experience. A discount should’ve been offered for that room.
Most of the time the food here is wonderful but for some reason the last time I went it was just mediocre .
I was a little surprised that our reserved table was located in the lounge area versus the normal location we eat in ( Booth areas ).
This was my third year going here for Valentine's day!! I love their food and service. But this year wasn't as magical as the previous ones. Apettizer was great the clam chowder was delicious but when they brought us our entrees I ordered the surf and turf and my wife ordered the seafood trio. They mess up my stake and when they try to fix it my wife's dish got cold they try reheating but it wasn't the same. They offer us a dessert to fix it. I left disappointed because of that. Wife was disappointed too. It didn't ruin Valentine's day but it was a bad way to end the day.
Overall, we had a fabulous dinner and service was great. Another great experience at this restaurant so we will most likely return for other dining engagements. Thank you to all staff and management!
Taja was just wonderful. Steaks we're to die for. We will come back for sure
Food was excellant, service could have been better since there were hardly any patrons in the restaurant. The server did not offer bread at the beginning. I had to ask for it when I got my entree'. No one ever came to refill my water glass.
Our server persuaded me to give their scallops a second try (the ones at the Fish House had been a disappointment). These were MARVELOUS! They are the reason I really like seared scallops.
As always, a great meal at a fun location. Never a disappointment.
Always relaxing and enjoyable. Food is delicious and service always excellent
Always great service and great food. We enjoyed our business lunch immensely!
we cant say more about the wait staff, they are knowledgeable & friendly... top shelf people! the food was very good and great Bloody Mary's. it was our first dinning experience here....we will return.
The food took a ridiculous amount of time to come out and the waitress tried to blame it on the person making the salad. But then our main took another 40 min after our appetizer. It would have made up for it if the food was good, but it wasn't. Veggies were barely cooked, Steak and Lobster was extremely over cooked. Manager tried to make up for it by comping the overcooked meal and giving us a free dessert, but our Friday was a bust because of how long dinner took and how terrible it was. They want you to have a reservation, but they weren't as busy as you would expect on a Friday, in such a nice location.
We enjoyed our dinner, our food was pretty good, a little pricey. Service was good
The lighting was too dark!
We had a lovely 88th birthday lunch for Mom, complete with a birthday greeting at the top of each menu and a birthday card signed by the staff. The service was outstanding, and the food was very good. We all enjoyed our salad and entrees and Mom loved the warm bread. McCormick's is not inexpensive, but the food, service and ambiance make it a great place for a celebration. They also have a good happy hour menu we've tried several times.
I am around this restaurant at least once a month and try to go there when I have time. Great food and just a great place to enjoy and eat a very good meal.
They advertised a New Year's Eve dinner, but didn't say they closed at 10. They took our reservation for 9:45. Our steaks were raw/cold and they couldn't fix them, because the stove was off. We sent them back and they came back slightly warmer, more medium rare. We wanted medium. I sent it back again and it came back microwaved and overcooked. I asked for a new steak, grilled, and was then told the kitchen and stove were closed. The manager comped the two steak dinners, but this was still disappointing. The third steak dinner we ordered was also raw, but my nephew didn't say anything and just ate as much as he could. We felt very rushed as the restaurant was clearly closing around. Which was evident in the raw steaks we received. We would have liked to have had dessert. Please stop taking reservations at 9 if you close at 10 or make it very clear you close at 10.
We dined here for New Years Eve. It was very busy, but the service was great and we didn't feel rushed even though the wait was quite long.
The food was pretty good, but our waitress was very condescending. We were there because I received a gift card for Christmas and, never having heard of McCormick and Schmicks before, I decided to give it a try for lunch. I think once we didn't order wine the waitress decided we weren't big spenders and lost interest in buttering up to us. She became very terse and would would tell us the price of a refill before offering to refill our glasses. It was tacky and weird, and I'll never go back.
We had our Christmas Day dinner here and the restaurant was extremely busy. Despite that - our drinks, meal and service was excellent! Kudos to those who work on holidays so we can dine out.
We really enjoy the food and the good service! We have been going here for Christmas dinner for most of the last ten years. It has become somewhat of a tradition for us now. If we could afford it, we would come here more often, but it is an expensive place for us.
Kerem provided excellent service!
Although it is a chain, McCormick and Schmick's food is always prepared with the highest standards. Our service was excellent even though the restaurant was very crowded. We are seated at our appointed time.
Reservation was for 6 15, wasn't seated until 6 45. Took for ever to get water and bread. the amount of food, and the quality were not worth the price. It took almost three hours from being set to getting check. Service from our server sucked, some of the other severs did step up to make sure we at least had water when I asked.
We come here every year for Christmas Eve dinner. This year we were placed in the bar area with 2 uneven tables out together with our 3 children. Probably not the best spot in the restaurant with kids.
It was unfortunate the Mac n cheese was gone by 6pm dinner time, this is is our kids favorite dish. Nothing was offered to us. The waiter was fantastic! Very friendly and served well!
Our annual Christmas Eve visit. This year the service was lacking, not by much, but enough that we noticed. In the past, it's always been outstanding. I think our server was very tired and it showed.
We went for Christmas Eve. They had a special menu that sounded better than it tasted. The server was fine, but we were there for an hour before we gave up. At the point we had only gotten our drinks and appetizer. We ended up taking our dinner home. It was not worth the wait and price.
Went for Christmas Eve dinner, should have known better. They put us in the bar, music was too loud. Just not what I was expecting. I won't be back.
