Our server was wonderful, well informed about the menu, drinks and fast! We enjoyed our meal as always and will be back.
The atmosphere at McCormick's Bridgeport is lovely. The food was good. Our waiter was pleasant and friendly but, neglected to ask me if I wanted a second glass of wine or refill my water when he came to our table. I would have likde both.
The restaurant provided personalized menus and a card signed by staff wishing us a happy anniversary. There was a small discount extended on the desserts. We were seated in a quieter section and had a very attentive & pleasant waiter. The evening was exactly what my husband and I hoped for.
Great. Daughter, Husband & Grand Dogs Were Visiting From Boise. So Wonderful We Could Sit On Patio & Dogs Were Welcome On Patio As Well.
Richard, our waiter was awesome as was the rest of the waistaff.
The waiter was right there when a new colleague arrived at the table. Our drinks were never empty.
We enjoyed a great evening with very tasty food and excellent service.
Our waiter Josh was very accommodating and efficient.
Food was very good, timely food delivery was very slow from salads to 30 minutes after salad before main course arrived.
We had a nice experience here. Our service/waiter was perfect. Although, I thought our $22 cod fish and chip were mediocre. Thin on the fish and a bit heavy on the breading. Although the breading was tasty, just a bit heavy. Maybe three larger cuts, lighter breading? My mother had a cup of chowder and the bay shrimp salad. The soup was tasty, and the salad good. But we thought it was a again, a bit pricey for what you received. Why no halibut fish and chips option? I was anticipating halibut. I was surprised when it wasn’t an option. My first though was, if the cod was over $21, the halibut might not be a cost effective menu item. But, you are a seafood restaurant right? Locally, good halibut f&s runs $20-29. We did have the calamari appetizer. We all found that to be very tasty and priced appropriate. Without trying other menu items, I can’t say wether or not I would recommend others to visit.
I wish there was some way to lessen the amount of voice volume-for elderly people with hearing aides the volume and intensity of the voice levels, especially up top, are far too loud. People are unable to hear each other speak at times. I wish something could be done about the acoustics somehow. Something to further investigate. I have heard other people say the same thing. I love the service, as everyone is very friendly, and the food was superb.
The food is always exceptional at McCormick & Schmick's Grill and this time was no exception. We enjoyed their Lobster & Shrimp Roll and Fish & Chips. The service was great and they treated us like special guests. And since we were celebrating a birthday we also enjoyed a free desert.
I was a teenie bit disappointed in our table. It felt like a dark booth. But i don't really know what the choices were. I had called ahead and asked for a special table since we were celebrating my daughters engagement. Otherwise, it was outstanding
We had a great little family get together and it was the perfect setting
A first-class experience in a relaxed friendly open space with enough privacy for most. The menu is top shelf and they will accommodate almost any change or substitution you ask for. We left happy and full!
It was more than we hoped for when celebrating our 25th anniversary. They had a card signed by the staff and menus with our names on it! The food, service and atmosphere was fantastic.
Best Birthday dinner ever!! Service was excellent.
High-end dining service even at lunch time. Excellent seafood as always.
The food was excellent and our waiter was helpful and funny.
Great place to stop before or after shopping or movie to grab casual Happy Hour food in bar or a nice full meal in restaurant. Great place for oyster-lovers or fresh fish dishes.
I enjoy the mid-week daily specials you might not expect, like Taco Tuesday (Tito's Mexitini $5 order as little or as many as you want!) And on Thursday, it's $2.50 each for shrimp avocado toast, which include baby heirloom tomatoes & pickled lipstick peppers.)
There's a small shady corner area between building & street, (unless it's high noon) where you can eat outside on a nice day.
Both regular menu & happy hour menus, as well as lunch, brunch, wine & dessert menus, are all located online via the company's website, including prices (so you can avoid sticker shock.)
Great quality food & professional courteous service. I like the beer, wine, mocktail & cocktail selections. I've almost never regretted a drop-in. There's always seating, but during peak hours the bar can get crowded and a bit noisy, so I always opt for the later hours if possible. They're open daily 11am-10pm (except Fri-Sat, they stay open an hour later).
Love my neighborhood M&S! Great Happy Hour menu and the servers are always very attentive.
Our server was excellent although overall, considering it was not busy, was a bit slow. The restaurant was ill-prepared for us although we arrived on time for the reservation. They did nothing special for our special event (a birthday dinner which I had mentioned in the reservation).
It was our 24th wedding anniversary and everything was perfect
Only if I can set some expectations, in the olden days McCormick was much more special. Now just an average high priced restaurant. Knowing that this restaurant is specializing in fish, my son ordered a rip eye which was less than 1/2” thick and mostly fat. Very disappointing and overpriced.
Dessert was great.
The Halibut stuffed dinner was so so, no need for spice to hide the taste!
Bad!!! The Restaurant was closed at the reservation time! If they closes early, they should not have reservations on line!!! I just lost time and becouse my reservation was active, I was unnable to make a diferent reservation in another restaurant in OpenTable.
Celebrating my husband's birthday and we had a lovely time. Food was excellent and service was impeccable, as always.
Nice place. Valet parking. Comfortable and well stocked bar. Very good food.
Great service without being invasive.
The food was excellent and the staff was courteous and eager to be of service. The menu was a bit pricey but a fair trade considering the quality of the food, staff, and ambiance. If you want to entertain people you really like or want to impress someone, this is the place to go.
Went for our 25th anniversary. The Staff made it feel very special. Food was delicious. The ambiance was beautiful! We will definitely go back....with friends!
It was my Father's birthday and they had a special menu with Happy Birthday on it. Also had a card for him and provided a free dessert. They really made him feel special!
Three friends. Are outdoors. Very nice time
We both had the lobster Cobb salad which was outstanding. It is not the first time we have had this and it won’t be the last.
Went for our anniversary on a Thursday - half price bottles of wine night. Our names were on the menus welcoming us for our anniversary - a nice souvenir. Server was very friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely go back.
Our 25th anniversary dinner was perfect! Excellent food. Excellent service. Free dessert for our anniversary too!!
The food was good and the wine was perfect with it. Service was ok but not as good as we usually have there. It was a birthday celebration - and they knew that - but no mention was made of that (not even their usual free dessert). Other than that, it was a good dinner.
Wonderful food, the clam chowder was the best I’ve ever had. Service was great!
I did give it a 5 overall rating. However, me and one of my guests ordered a cup of soup & salad & I asked our wait staff to bring the appetizers before the entree. She agreed. Both appetizers were brought out with the entrees. I even asked her at one point where our appetizers were & she said "on the way". Very disappointed in the service. I should have reflected that in her tip, bit tipped 20% anyway.
