The most lovely waterfront location in San Francisco and the most mediocre food and service.
Wish the owners would read the reviews and make some changes.
So disappointed.

Food was not prepared very well and we had to send some items back to the kitchen. This was disappointing. With all of the other wonderful dining experiences and options in the area, we will not return.

The view of San Francisco bay at sunset was outstanding, and I don't believe there was a table without the view. The seafood was excellent, and the ambiance was great.

This restaurant was a last minute find on google, but boy am I so happy I found it, the food waS extremely tasty and it was very romantic, the views are amazing day or night, I would highly recommend this place to everyone. All of the staff was very professional and polite. Definetly one of my favorites and I will be going back for sure!

alaskan crab was terrible. tasted old. the bar was out of two of their signature drinks. cheese plate had 8 oz of cheese and 4 pieces of crostini. lobster dip was cold and could not taste the lobster. could only taste the mayo.

Seated half hr. late after hostess assured us they were on time. Both service and food was slow. Wife didn't get what she ordered, but ate it as opposed to waiting another hour for correct dish. Overall, very disappointing experience

We had a 6:30 reservation. We weren't sat until 7:15. We were lucky to get a seat at the bar and have a cocktail while waiting. When we were finally seated it looked like 1/2 the dining room was empty...maybe they didn't have enough servers(?) The oysters were the best part of the meal paired with a delightful sparkling tasting. The truffle mac and cheese was atrocious! The filet was over cooked. We spent close to $300 for two, what a disappointment! The dining room was beautiful.

I wanted to take my girlfriend to a nice restaurant, with great views, for Valentine's Day. I saw the amazing ocean view pictures on the McCormick & Kuleto's website and decided this was the place. I'm so happy I did because we had a wonderful experience. We had reservations, but still had to wait 10 minutes to be seated, but it was not a problem as they were incredibly busy. We got a great table with a spectacular view, which we were very happy about. We got our drinks and appetizer very quickly. I did have to waive our waiter over to place our main course order, but as I mentioned earlier, it was very busy, and our waiter was hustling, so no problem. The food was spectacular, and reasonably priced for the quality of the food. Our waiter was great, and as attentive as possible considering the place was jam packed. I would definitely come again many times. Thank you for the great experience!

Very disappointing experience. Arriving 20 minutes earlier than our reservation, we were told to come back in 20 minutes. We decided to wait inthe upper level bar. I ordered a glass of wine and my dining companion ordered water. I got my wine and we had to ask again for her water. When our table was ready, I had to settle the bar tab before getting seated. I would have expected my wine to be part of my dinner tab. Our food orders took an exceptionally long time and we had to ask for my companion’s crab cake a second time before it arrived. Although the view is lovely, overall the lack of expected service levels destroyed the evening.

I came here on 2/15/18 and it was my first time trying this place out and All i can say is that i was really happy with my visit. My waiter was really friendly and made some good recommendations on the menu. Food was also perfectly cooked and taste amazing. We were seated next to a window so we had an amazing view! I will definitely come back here again.

With our OpenTable reservation, we got seated right away and we sat by the window with a great view of Alcatraz and a beautiful sunset. Our server was very nice. We decided not to have any appetizers, they serve you sourdough bread anyway. We got our entree pretty fast. I had the sesame crusted ahi tuna, it was a great choice, it was so delicious. If you aren't too hungry, this is wonderful. The bok choy is very yummy, though I would like a little more Wasabi in my mashed potatoes, didn't taste it at all. My husband ordered the ribeye steak blue and it was done to his request. He's happy with it and enjoyed it very much. I had a bite and it was fabulous. Hopefully we can go back again.

We met up with friends and enjoyed not only a fantastic view but fabulous food. The crab was excellent and the swordfish and halibut were so tasty!!

Food was good but service was not that great. Waitress kept walking by ignoring. Ordered soup never came, ordered desert and they were out, took 15 minutes to determine that there was no desert. Waitress took forever for anything and she barely stopped by to see how things were when she walked by. Being Valentine's Day service should have been exceptional and it wasn't. Being my first time here if service is like this I will not be back.

The restaurant was very nice although it is very big so the noise level is quite high. The service was ok but not as good as I expected, staff wandering around with plates of food not knowing what table to go to! The food was very nice.

I requested a window table when I booked several weeks in advance but was seated a couple of rows back, all l can suggest is calling to confirm 24hrs before hand which I didn’t do!

Valentine's Day dinner. Seated promptly on arrival at precise reservation time. Service was prompt and helpful, with proper amount of rechecking. My wife had scallops; I had seafood newburg; time of food delivery was good. Excellent sourdough bread was served promptly with whipped butter. Presentation of food was excellent as was taste, texture, sauce-- amounts were filling without additional dishes. Only defect was unavailability of Riesling wine I had ordered. Prices are appropriate for locale and type of restaurant -- about $10/glass for wine, $36 for entrees. # of large scallops in my seafood newburg was generous. A fine dinner.

Excellent Waiter service. Friendly and warm smile! Food is delicious but pricy. Therefore only on special occasion. Check in with host ( person who assigned the tables) could be more attentive. I checked in with name and time and was left standing for 8 minutes not knowing what’s next. People with the same time check in after me was sat before us? 5:45 pm reservation for Mr. Chang. Finally was taken to a table after the waiting area was cleared. Was not offered a choice of booth like the others. Didn’t want to make a scene since it was a special evening. The waiter and food made up for rude host!

We were there for Valentine's Day, and had a reservation. At 5:00 the lobby was full and people were waiting outside. Their seating process was very slow, apparently not all of their servers had arrived yet! We finally got seated. Next, the service was so slow, our server wouldn't come back for the longest time so we kept asking any server or staff person who happened to come by for what we needed. Next, when we got our food it wasn't hot and it was just ok, nothing wonderful especially for the price! The ambiance and location is great, but not sure if the lack of good service and mediocre food makes it worth it!

Food was very good. Waitress was excellent. Foodservice was poor. Before we had finished with our starters, the expeditor attempted to serve our main course. At the end of our main course the table was not cleared of bread plates or bread basket.

We booked for Valentine’s dinner. It was easier to go to the Eiffel Tower for lunch than this restaurant. Our reservation was at 5:30 pm and they were changing shifts so they had everyone wait at the door before seating us. You would think they would adjust the schedule knowing there would be a rush at 5:30. Finally we were seated and then our server apparently was to busy “cleaning up a mess” to attend to us. When the server finally arrived his technique was to hover over us the whole time making it worse. The view was magnificent and the food excellent but the experience was terrible. Sad.

We came here to celebrate Valentine's Day. We had been here the week before to celebrate our anniversary, when we asked then about the upcoming Valentine's Day dinner menu but they told us they were still working on it. We went ahead and made our Valentine's dinner reservation for 4pm. The day before Valentine's Day, I called to find out what the menu would be for the special occasion, but the hostess that answered the phone said it hadn't been printed yet. Anyway, we decided to come to a late lunch instead, and arrived around 2:30pm. We told the hostess we had spoken with the manager, Toby, about maybe coming earlier, and he said no problem. I also mentioned to the hostess that we did have dinner reservations for 4pm through OpenTable and she said there would be no problem. (However I received an email later from OpenTable, that thought we had cancelled our reservation and hadn't shown up. I emailed that we did show up). All in all, we had a very nice late luncheon, with a delicious crab louie salad and our favorite dish, the Petrale Sole. Our waiter was nice but whenever he asked if we needed anything, he kept forgetting, so we did end up having to wave him down and remind him fairly often for our drink refills, water and bread. That was a bit annoying. However, we enjoyed the view and our late luncheon and will be a regular customer.

The restaurant atmosphere is great and the table service very good. However, the food came out at different time causing that awkward wait of some in our party. A medium-rare requested rib-eye came out well done and when sent back, they had no more of it. Major fail but they did apologize several times and took care of that meal on the bill.

We celebrated our 48th Anniversary (and my belated Jan 1st birthday with a special $25 Birthday certificate from my Landry's membership). We have been coming here for quite a while and enjoy the food and ambience and view of the bay. Our server was very nice but talked in a very low tone of voice so it was hard to hear what she was saying sometimes, and we had to ask her to repeat things. All in all, our meals were delicious and we were given a free dessert to share.
